They had a decent selection but not too much that you were overwhelmed. I would have liked to see a larger size range but for the area the merchandise they have makes sense. The items were pricey for myself personally, but again, for the area not at all especially since they were popular brands. I did pick up some gifts and jewelry for myself and will likely be back for more of the same!

Despite all their brands being available either direct through the store (Free People) or other retail shops (Nordstrom), I've committed to Something Else because it's run by a small business owner. Today, I was let down. I had scheduled a girls day with my mom which included shopping here. My mom had a few returns. Apparently it had been ~35 days since her purchase and the policy is ~21 days. I appreciate policy; however, I'm in the customer service business and fully recognize some instances require an exception. A few things to note: 1. It was very recent since the original purchase. 2. My mom alone spends a TON of money in this store - as do I, and her girlfriends, all of whom she has personally introduced the store to (in other words, she's always sending business to this company). 3. Upon pushback from the associates, we asked the girl to call the owner - Kristin. Kristin shockingly denied the return request (FOR STORE CREDIT) because of the "quick turnover of clothes on the floor". I actually buy into this logic - HOWEVER, WHAT MY MOM WAS RETURNING WAS, IN FACT, STILL ON THE FLOOR. It candidly felt like a bad canned response. I'm shocked they wouldn't make an exception for a (very) frequent customer. The girls behind the desk were also difficult when we were showing some store credit we have (which, incidentally, was given to us as a result of spending so much money there). At this point, we are struggling to find a reason to shop here. Big retailers have better sales, larger selections, and significantly better return policy. We used to shop here for the small business owner, but will not anymore as a result of how we were treated.

Stumbled across this store on my way to Lane Bryant, as they're literally right next to it. Kudos…read moreon their location choice in the mall, to snag those Lane Bryant bound women. It's a nice store, well-lit & clean. Staff was nice, but not super attentive (I was standing in front of the cash register for at least a few minutes while two employees finished their personal conversation). Onto the clothes... I came looking for some new work clothes, but this isn't really the store for business dress clothes. They do not carry any dress pants or Blazers, but I did pick up a cardigan style blouse. Just be careful to inspect the clothes carefully because I picked up 5 of the same blouses before I found a good one (others were stained, ripped, or had seams coming apart). Material of the clothes does feel a little cheap, and prices are just ok. Personally, I'd prefer getting better made clothing at Macy's & using their coupons for a better deal. However this place is useful if you're unable to find plus sized clothing at Macy's, or Lane Bryant's prices are just too high. Worth a look for those curvy ladies. Return policy is 30 days, with receipt AND with tags still attached to the clothing.

I headed to the Cherry Hill Mall to check out 2 other stores there -- and stumbled upon Fashion to Figure having never heard of it before. So glad that I did! It's literally a store for ladies size 12-26 geared towards a night on the town, special events, or if you just wanna look super put together. Lots of variety of styles - and nothing like the sometimes boring department store options open to curvy or plus-size ladies. The dresses in the window are gorgeous, and inside it's all white walls, trendy music - and great stuff you actually want to wear! Both employees there were really nice - Janelle helped me with fitting room/dress stuff and was awesome! The staff actually writes your name on a wipeboard outside of your fitting room and is attentive and friendly without pushing sales. There was another girl in the dressing room looking for an outfit that I ended up chatting with and even recommending a dress for when we were coming out into the common area to look in the larger mirror. I went in looking for a dress and left with two - both onsale - and I know when the winter pounds come off they're both cut so well they're still going to look great! A nice plus - they sell Spanx, and some other really nice shapewear, and their jewelry section is dangerously shiny... I had to stop myself from getting carried away. A total go-to place for special occasions or if you want something fun to wear!

Who knew that 20-some years later, I too, would succumb to the Chico. I got a very nice blouse for $29 (Marked down from $39.50) from Maryellen who has worked there (at the Paoli location) for 14 years, is extremely patient and puts up with lots of picky older ladies. One lady even brought her little yappy dog into the store (cute dog - but please be quiet!!!). Definitely an older crowd but some nice and comfy casual wear.

I had admired a blouse that a friend was wearing and she told me how they had 'travel' clothing that didn't need ironing, was stylish and mix and match. I work from home, but when I travel, it is always business related, so I needed good business casual. I have body-image issues, so I generally walk in to clothing stores, try a few things on and leave (in despair). When I got there, I was shown what I was looking for and from my dressing room was assisted in finding alternate styles that were more flattering, etc. I believe that her name was Joan and she pretty much not only guided me to finding me an entire wardrobe, but accessorized me. I spent over $500 and still have every piece of clothing and accessory. I would never have done that without help, trying on styles that I wouldn't have considered (because I tend to stick with what I know). I go back every other year and only when I don't have kids with me. I had gone to the one in Delaware (tax free shopping), but I didn't find the personal service that I got at the Paoli store. Not bad, just impersonal.
