I went to the phone store to have my phone fixed which ended up turning into a 2- hour wait. I just so happen to find Le femme Boutique while waiting. I am attending a wedding in November and planned on just wearing my old prom dress. From the moment I entered the store I was amazed at how beautiful all the gowns were! Yelitza immediately greeted me and went above and beyond helping me find beautiful options to wear. She was so kind and caring and really knew her stuff!!!!!! She assisted me with trying on 4 different dresses and I ended up going with the very first dress I tried on! It's funny because when I walked in the store she happen to have it in her hands putting it away! I instantly said hey that dress is beautiful and it happen to be my size and everything!!!! She even took photos of me in each gown so I could compare and contrast! Yelitza made my shopping experience extremely rewarding and fun! I do not understand the 5 star reviews. This was a horrible experience and unless you've never been elsewhere to receive good customer service then I do not understand how there can be positive reviews. My mom and I came here looking for a mother of bride dress. We attempted to make an appointment but their recording said you didn't need one. When we arrived it was utter madness. We had no idea a prom trunk show was going on. The smell when we walked in should have been an indication things would be bad. It was like being punched in the face with cockroach spray. People were everywhere wondering around. Racks upon racks of dresses in large plastic bags in every square inch of the store. After a few minutes an employee came over, gave a a rolling rack and told us to help ourselves. We were instructed to start digging through the racks and place whatever we wanted on our personal rack to try on. Things were organized by color but not by nice. It was impossible to find anything or even see what the dresses looked like since they were all in bug bulky bags. It was worse than Marshall's on Black Friday. This was not the type of experience I'd hope to have with my mom for such a special day. We left without trying anything on. read more

I went here looking for a dress for my senior prom at the end of March. The store was dirty inside and out with paper everywhere and things cluttered together. The woman who greeted us was very unprofessional and did not help at all while looking for a dress. I ordered my daughters prom dress the end of February for a may 13 prom. I was told the dress would be received by 4/10. I waited a week after that to call. Just to allow a little extra time. I left 3 voicemails and never received a return call. I finally got someone to answer. I told them I was inquiring about the status of the dress. She put the manager on and was super nice. Said she would look into it and call me back. She promptly returned the call saying the dress was put on a expedited list but was still in china.... She then called me the next day to tell me that the company shut down the factory and the dress is no longer available. They had 2 options for me that were similar to the dress. If I had I wanted one of the others than I would have ordered them. I assumed 3 months prior to the prom would be more than enough time. So now it's two weeks away and no dress. The part that bothers me the most is that I don't think they would have contacted me at all. This is completely unacceptable. read more

My daughters and I visited Le Femme Boutique for prom dresses a few weeks ago. I'll start with the positives...There are a lot of dresses to choose from and Alexa was very nice and helpful when my daughters were trying the dresses on. Before we met Alexa at the fitting room, we sifted through the dresses on our own that are organized by color, not size. My daughters each found a dress that they liked rather quickly. One of the dresses had beautiful beading but many of the beads were loose and hanging by a thread. I wasn't expecting perfection since this is a dress that was on the rack, and expected these were just for trying on but we would order a new one, as is the case with just about every other gown store I've ever been to. I was told that this dress was no longer in production and this was the only one. No discount was offered but the owner said her seamstress would fix the beading for free - Assuming I wanted to go to her seamstress. My other daughter selected a dress that was a little too tight. I asked if this could be ordered in her size. That was also no longer in production, so we decided to take the dress and just corset the back. I put half down on both dresses and left them in the store. A week or so later, we visited my daughter's doctor who has been treating her for a chronic condition. We were told that her condition now requires surgery. She will not be healed in time to go to prom. I had no idea that this was going to be the outcome of her doctor visit so I immediately called the store and was reminded of their 24 hour return policy. I mentioned that the dress never left the store, was purchased off the rack and was not altered in any way. The young woman I spoke to said she would give the message to the owner and the owner would call me back. I did not receive a return phone call so I called the owner the next day. In comparison to the warm, friendly service I received from Alexa on our shopping day, the owner was curt and unsympathetic when I told her about my daughter's impending surgery. She seriously couldn't have cared less but went on and on about the needs of her business and her generous 24 hour return policy as well as her unwillingness to make any kind of an exception. I asked her if she would please at least put the dress back on the rack and try to sell it in the next couple of weeks and if she was able to sell it, she could then return my $200 deposit to me. I told her I would be happy to pay a restocking fee or whatever she felt was approporate. If the dress wasn't sold, I would have no choice but to pick it up so that I didn't lose my deposit. She agreed to do this. In the next 2 weeks, I didn't hear anything. I returned to Le Femme Boutique to pick up my other daughter's dress on Saturday. Alexa was there and when she went to retrieve the dress, she told me there were two dresses on hold for me. I was shocked that the owner never put the dress back on the rack as she promised but rather it was still hiding in the back with the other dresses on hold. The owner would not speak to me on the phone but only spoke to me through Alexa saying that she was only going to take this dress out of the back room if someone came in specifically looking for this particular dress?? I can't even explain how disappointed I am at the owner's deliberate refusal to do even the simplest thing to help and most of all, if she was unwilling to try and sell this dress (and I honestly have no idea why she wouldn't try to sell it) she could have been honest with me. I completely understand the significance of a return policy but the dress never left the store, it was never changed in any way and it was off the rack. All she had to do was put it back on the rack. She demonstrated zero sensitivity or kindness. She clearly needs the money more than I do. I walked away with the one dress that I bought and left the other dress and my $200 deposit behind. I would think twice before giving this store business. Return policies make perfect sense when a dress has left the store, was special ordered or altered. If this was the case I would never, ever have asked or expected to have this dress returned to the rack where it came from. There are many gown stores that have beautiful dresses, made to order and that have not been tried on by dozens of other girls. read more

First time prom shopping here with my daughter this past Saturday. You walk in, sign up, and then 2 people help you search for dresses. You basically tell them what you are interested in and they pull them from the rack to show you. It's a huge help because there are hundreds and hundreds of dresses to go through, could be exhausting. It's a pretty smooth running operation. Our personal girl, Taylor, was a huge help in pulling dresses, judging the dresses and problem solving. So this was years ago, don't forget that while reading this because things may be different now. My senior prom was in 2012 I had looked at a bunch of places & a friend recommended this place! 1st, when you purchase a dress they kept a book with a list of schools, so they will not sell the same dress to another girl at the same school or attending the same prom. That was amazing. I think it was the owner who dealt with me at the time, little bit of an older women, short cut hair at the time, was very patient with me while I tried on every dress in the store. She helped my mom take pictures, they looked through the book for different color options (because I wanted purple). With no luck we looked around one last time, my mom found the dress of my dreams but in gold, & the woman reassured me to try it on because it is possible it is made in other colors. I fell in love, it came in lavender purple. Sold. We bought it. This was February of 2012, my prom was May 2012. They told me it will take a while to come in, so perfect timing. 2 weeks before my prom I got the call that it was in & I was so excited. I went to try it on, well the company sent the wrong dress. The item numbers were switched up, & another purple sequin dress came instead. I was devastated & I bawled my eyes out, but they STILL never missed a beat. They would fix it. They called the company, this happened to all the girls who orders the dress because the item numbers.. & a new one would be sent in time for prom. We got home, THE MAKER of my dress called my mother to apologized, assured me that one was being hand made as we speak & we would have it in 3 days. They overnighted the gown & I did in fact have it in 3 days. It needed major alterations due to me being 5'1 & very petite, the dress was a strappy back with ALL sequins. My seamstress worked overtime to make sure it was done in time. My mom now jokes that she doesn't want to go wedding dress shopping if prom dress shopping was that stressful so anyways, I definitely recommend this place to everybody, I hope that everybody who I dealt with still works there. & I am now excited go to back there in a week for bridesmaids dresses for my sister!! read more

Last Sunday, my daughter who is a Senior, went to look for prom dresses. We had a wonderful experience at Le Femme Boutique. We had the wonderful help of Kayla. She was very kind, sweet, and honest. I was able to see the dresses my daughter was trying on. I only had to look at them on her. I did NOT have to take them off the hanger and hold them on her so she could see how they looked. I did NOT have to rehang then on the hangers when she did not like them. My daughter wanted to try one on that was on a mannequin and Kayla had no problem with that. She took the mannequin down and gave the dress to my daughter to try on. That was the dress she choose. We were in and out in 1 hour! That was wondererful! My brother and his fiance decided to go through Le Femme Boutique for their bridesmaid dresses a couple of months ago. The bride requested that we all get measured and call LFB to order and pay for our dresses. I had recently found out I was pregnant and when I called LFB for advice they were no help at all! I measured myself at a time when I wasn't obviously pregnant just so I had a baseline for where i was starting. According to my measurements I was a size 12. The gal at LFB suggested something as ridiculous as ordering my current size when I would be 25 WEEKS PREGNANT at the wedding. She gave no suggestions as to how many sizes bigger I should go. The only thing nice she suggested was to give me a call after all the other bridesmaids had ordered and paid for their dresses, that way I had more time to think about what size to order for myself. Now let's fast forward to the bride calling me upset because the bridesmaid dresses haven't been ordered because the dress place was still waiting on me. HOLD UP! The boutique told me THEY would call ME once the other girls had placed their orders. I was fuming because the boutique failed to follow through. I called the boutique right away only to get their answering machine. I left them a message relaying the whole story and how disappointed I was with all their service. I specifically told them the bride's name, my name, and the size I wanted. I decided on my own, with no help from the boutique that I wanted a size 16. I assumed going 2 sizes bigger would be enough extra space for me. Last week, the bride goes to pick up my dress and needs to have it shipped to me because I am all the way across country in Oregon. I receive my dress and see that THEY ORDERED ME A SIZE 20!!! I was swimming in that dress!! I was able to slip it over me no problem, while the corset was fully tightened and the zipper fully zipped. THIS WAS NOT THE SIZE I ORDERED!!! I took my dress to Nordstrom to alter it and they turned me away because it was too much work! I ended up finding another location by chance to help with alterations, and I'm pushing $100 in alterations!! I would never ever recommend anyone work with Le Femme Boutique again in the future. They were very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. You are in the formal wear business, so get your act together and educate yourselves on the female body. TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THEY ORDERED ALL THE OTHER BRIDESMAID DRESSES 2 SIZES TOO BIG, CAUSING US ALL TO PAY RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS IN ALTERATIONS. 0 Starts for this place, and you better believe I have already told my family and friends how horrible of an experience all the bridesmaids have had with them. My consultant, Katharine, was nice and helpful, and wasn't in-my-face or pushy like some consultants I have had recently. When I found my dream dress, but realized it didn't come in the color I wanted, the store's manager spent time looking up last year's model of the dress, which came in the color I was looking for! I was pleasently surprised with my visit to Le Femme Boutique. After calling the day before to see if they had prom dresses in stock the lady was very rude, but I proceeded to go the next day anyway. I was glad I did because when I got there they were very pleasent, gave me my space to shop, with plenty of selections. Then when it was time to try on they took the dresses on and off the hangers for me but still gave me the privacy to dress myself. Along with giving me as much time as I needed to have each dress on.
