Excellent service without being pushy. Quick in and out since they had what I specifically needed and was directed to.

I made an appointment online with Bonnie for my 7 and 10 year old sons to get suits for my daughter's upcoming bat mitzvah. The website says to make an appointment 6-8 weeks ahead of time so I was right within the time frame. While we had no trouble finding when we needed, I'm glad I have some extra time to get the boys alterations over the next few weeks- our next not so fun activity! We were in and out within 45 minutes and left with suits for the service, friday night service/dinner outfits and party outfits. The total for all came to approximately $1000, which I didn't think was too bad for the amount of clothes we left with (including belts and socks too). The boys looked oh so handsome in everything and we had plenty to choose from. Bonnie and team were super helpful in figuring out what fit them best. I kept thinking during it that it would have been a nightmare to do online since suit sizes run differently than normal clothes. They carry sizes 8 and up, which was perfect for my boys since my tall 7 year old wears a size 8. They also have a very large mens section so I may need to send my husband back one day! On this Saturday at 3:15pm we pretty much had the store to ourselves, which was helpful in making it a fast experience. The next time I'll be back will be in a few years when my 10 year old is making the bar mitzvah circuit and I wouldn't hesitate to look elsewhere based on the stellar experience.

BUT just because the store was empty didn't mean they didn't care less I came in asking for Khakis, turn out I got a lot more. Not only Thomas introduced himself with a quick joke, he knew how to make you look professional from the fit to the color. I am ussually annoyed by shopping because it involved too much time browsing and trying the right fit. (I don't enjoy spending my time looking aimlessly) Here I am handed some clothing that are recommended to try on. They suit me so well. I was asking a lot of questions about men clothing. And got an in depth answers for everything. I learned so much. Also end of my shopping experience, I almost forget I was wearing one of their sport shirt. I was so comfortable. The best thing was I felt like a friend rather than a customer at the end. A great place to spend money on comfortable clothing to last.

The guy said how can i help you and i said exactly that, i hear you guys have some awesome deals going on right now and i am looking to get a new suit. He takes me to an area and has me try on a jacket or two and then the pants only for me to find out he is trying to sell me an $800+ suit. I just said i was in here for a deal man. Then he started showing me a different suit for about $250 which is fair but much lower quality. I went back to Men's wearhouse and got a taken care of. If money is of no object, check them out. But i think MW covers everything quite well, whether you want cheap or expensive.

I just want nice looking jeans, button down shirts, and 1/2 zip and hoodie sweatshirts to fit right. For awhile, some stores had good clothing for plus size people. Kohl's carried a couple brands that were stylish and fit well, but then they stopped carrying them only to re-introduce those same brands with ill-fitting plus size options. Marshall Field's had a few items which became Macy's, and they had fewer still. The Winston Box, a monthly subscription mail order service boasts a way to find great options for any plus size and truthfully, they never sent items that fit well. However, DXL (a.k.a. Destination XL) has always had options that work well with my body type. I'm a Polo fan and not a big fan or their house brand, Harbor Bay. With that being said, Harbor Bay's t-shirts and jackets are awesome and fit great. DXL always has new options and brings in new brands that offer nice options such as Vineyard Vines, Psycho Bunny, Robert Graham, and more. Lately, I love the Lucky Brand jeans as they fit so well, and recently purchased the softest, most comfortable Vineyard Vines hoodie (actually, wearing both the hoodie and jeans right now). Plus, DXL offers workout closes, casual clothes, dress clothes, suits, shoes, and accessories. Lastly, the Vernon Hills location (close to me) has such a wonderful staff. Over the years, their staff has changed, but they are very friendly and always offer to help you find what you're looking for or are happy to remains hands off and let you do your own shopping. And they remember you whether you frequent them often or your visits are limited to a few times a year. I hardly visit any other store and if they don't have something in their store, they are happy to reach out to other locations to help you find your size and color you desire. I love this place!

I may be misguided, but I don't think you want to be compared to Kohl's. Or Shaw's. and the half-priced dress shirts I can only hope they brought in to sell full-priced shirts because they were laugh out loud funny. Like purple and black cross , really large squares, odd colors. it did a disservice to have them in the store. some one might buy them. Talbots and Brookes Brothers have a good name because you can buy anything the sell. Here, some clothes are dangerous like buying at target or walmart. I might go back. a bit meh, but I left with what I needed, but at at 150% of what I expected.
