This is the closest one to Evanston now that the location in Northbrook closed a few years ago. I…read morelove H&M but sizing and quality can be hit or miss, so I often have to return at least a few things from online ordering. This is a pretty good-sized store and it's well-organized with a good selection. However, returns are kind of annoying (not this location's fault, but H&M's fault as a whole). While I was returning a few items from my online order in store, I noticed something from my order that I had purchased a few days before had gone on clearance. I loved the item so obviously I didn't bring it to the store because I wasn't planning to return it. But, they had the exact same size and color as the one that I had purchased on the floor, and I had my order form with me (because I was returning other stuff). They wouldn't do a price adjustment because it was a clearance item, so instead I rebought the item in-store and then tried to return it with my old receipt. That didn't work, because apparently every individual item has a different SKU, even if they are identical. I've never seen that happen in a store before (especially a fast-fashion store).

You can't donate expired food to a food bank though. I threw out the receipt because it was only that and a skincare item. Plus every time I walk in there it cost me more than 4-5 dollars (the price of the popcorn. I will still come here, but I am not going near the guy with the nose mask or buying any gourmet food without checking it first. Maybe I will skip that too. They had so many purses to choose from my brain was swimming. I didn't expect them to have so much. Although expensive I think you also realize the value of the type of purse you buy. They tend to look brand new for a long time. I have to honestly say the best part of the whole experience was the service we received from Vanessa. She has helped us multiple times and she has been such a pleasure to work with. She is smart, educated, and pretty and she got my taste pretty quickly. We ended up buying one for me and something for a gift. So here is a shout out to Vanessa who helped make my Mother's Day complete. You are the best and we will be back soon again.
