Just less choice than TJ Maxx but much neater and more peaceful and pleasant than Ross. This one is located in between the JC Penny and the Big Lots store on Trenton and 281. When they first opened they had more merchandise. Because of a lack of customers they have cut back; there is a lot more space between racks, and fewer items on the racks. However, if you can't find what you're looking for at TJ Maxx or Marshalls, you may get lucky and find it here. It's certainly more peaceful. I hope they get more customers and will increase the merchandise again and give more competition to the other retailers.

The space is so cramped that you start getting claustrophobic and with the mess it makes things worse. I couldn't even tell what was on clearance or regular price because of all of the mess. Not only that but after I paid the girl didn't even check my clothes properly and left the security tag on my jeans (which btw their "alarm system" never went off) and unfortunately I came back home to San Antonio and was going to wear my jeans when I see the security tag. Luckily I'm a frequent shopper at the TORRIDs in San Antonio and they helped me out. But never again am i going back to the store in McAllen!
