The therapist heard it too, and we immediately ended the session. By the next day, the pain was so severe that I took time off work to get an X-ray because I believed my rib was broken. Fortunately, it wasn't fractured, but the X-ray confirmed significant bruising. What was even more disappointing was how management handled the situation. It took two weeks and multiple unanswered messages just to get a return call. I provided receipts for my X-ray and Groupon purchase and requested reimbursement for my medical expense, the Groupon, and the wages I lost while seeking medical care. They refused to reimburse me for anything and instead offered excuses rather than taking responsibility. Accidents can happen, but how a business responds afterward matters. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.

She told me that she would leave the room for me to undress but did not. 2. She told me to undress to my comfort level, which for me was top and bottom underwear. She then promoted me to remove my bra. 3. She used cupping without asking me before hand or instructing me as to why. Cupping obviously leaves marks on my back which I did not anticipate having following my appointment. This hasn't been a part of deep tissue massages I've had in the past at other places and this was the first time I'd ever have it done. 4. She took pictures of my back after the cupping which I did not consent to her taking. I would not have known she did this had she not shown me afterwards. I hope she has since deleted them. Mind you - I had a less than 48 hour window before I had to be good to go. In my experience, it can be rare for someone with the setup and professionalism of Amanda to be able to book on such short notice, let alone for a Friday in the midst of late summer/early fall wedding season. She directed me to her website which clearly lists the standard prep for best results. On arrival, Amanda explained everything that would happen from start to finish then went on to narrate why she was doing what she was doing at each step. She was kind and professional and made me feel very at ease and even finished off with a dusting of homemade powder that smelled fricken DIVINE and ensured I made it back to my car sweat free! While developing, I noted that the formula she used is one of the least smelly I've ever had applied. No small feat considering the beautiful color I got to. I'm lucky to live close by but she travels and I would recommend her to any family member or friend looking to add a little color.
