If you want a film photographer for your wedding day, Jose is your man! We hired him for our very small wedding, and he did an amazing job! I am incredibly particular about photography and had combed through the portfolios of 100+ local photographers, and I'm so glad we found him. Jose is friendly, patient, careful, and incredibly talented, but most importantly, he has the rare gift of helping people relax in front of his camera. Working with Jose was easy and seamless, and his responses were always prompt. Before the big day, we emailed back and forth and spoke on the phone a few times, and he was careful to make sure we had everything planned well in advance. Jose was always considerate of what we wanted and had asked us if they are any shots we want, but we left it all up to him, as his portfolio showed that he has a good vision for composition, posing, and lighting. He was also very deliberate and thorough in his research - he looked up our locations ahead of time and made sure to arrive early to scout for areas that would be great for photos. Jose's talent really shines during portrait shoots. He is careful in his composition and uses a DSLR and light meter to make sure he gets perfect lighting in his shots. He is also great at recommending poses that don't look or feel awkward. Jose and Lindsay were incredibly awesome at my wedding a couple weeks ago! They are extremely professional. They arrived at our venue EARLY and stayed later than requested. When I wasn't ready with my hair and makeup yet (timeline running late) they were very self sufficient and started taking photos of the venue, jewelry, etc so that they could be ready for me when I was ready. They were efficient the entire time we had them and wasted no time. I don't even know if they took a break or ate dinner - they kept running around to photograph everything! The best part was that the very next day they already had a preview of photos for us. How did they have photos ready in less than 24 hours?? Can't wait to receive the final product!
