I was referred to Dr. Lopez by my regular dentist for a tooth extraction. His office staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They got me in for my first and two sequent visits (3 in total) and processed my insurance claim promptly. They, the dental assistants, and Dr. Lopez we're very friendly. The doctor has a very light touch. When they extracted my tooth all I felt was a slight tug. I though he had removed my crown and was waiting for the extraction when his assistant said, "Okay, the doctor is finished." I had a very positive experience and highly recommend Dr. Jose Lopez. Plus, he makes you feel relaxed and shares interesting stories. read more

Dr. Lopez is great at wisdom teeth extractions. I've brought both my children here. He is kind and very experienced. He's also a retired Army dentist. He takes most insurances and his staff is very professional. I definitely would recommend his practice. read more

I have no problem with the staff, my issue is with Dr. Lopez. My mother was scheduled to have three teeth extracted and was very nervous about the whole situation. My mother (as Angela P......review listed below) advised Dr. Lopez of her concerns about the procedure she was about to undergo. He immediately took a harsh/crude tone and stated "I can't do my job because you're not ready." Without any further discussion he immediately stated he would refer her to another dentist. In which he did. He never attempted to alleviate the situation and walked out of the room. With his poor attitude he made an unpleasant situation even more agonizing. After all the drama unfolded, Dr Lopez had the audacity to state that once she has her teeth removed she can come back to his office and get fitted for her dentures. Needless to say, we will not be back. If you're hesitant and/or nervous about seeing a dentist, Dr Lopez is not the dentist for you... read more

I've been around the block, so to speak, and never have I received the care from a dentist as I have from Dr. Lopez. The staff is courteous and professional and he is top-shelf when it comes to handling root canals, partials and any other tooth/gum-related issue. If you go anywhere else, you're short-changing yourself. Adults, or kids, you can't go wrong with the services provided at this office. I scheduled myself for a extraction on my right tooth after having a root canal and the tooth just going to s*** after. First off, let's start off by saying I'm not the easiest patient to deal with when it comes to the dentist, I don't kick or scream just lots of tears..... When I first walked in the receptionist was really nice and patient with me and we filled out standard paper work and waited as usual. Once our paper work was turned in, we waited. And waited and waited. Finally about an hour after appointment I was seen for an extraction. The assistant said "we are to busy today I don't think we can do it, we will have to reschedule" then said "the dentist will be by to talk to you about the reschedule" so we waited for the dentist to come, about another twenty/thirty minutes. Then a very tall dentist came in and prescribed me antibiotic and pain mess for the time being. And all he kept saying was "do you have any questions". Then after waiting again for some other paper work or something like that dr Lopez came in, I'm sorry, popped his head in and said your 23 for the extraction and I said well I'm 22 but yea. Then he walked out and 5 minutes later said wanna do it today? And I said sure. So then the first assistant came back and said did the doctor see you yet and I said yea I guess we are gonna do it today and she said oh... Alright and walked out. She came back and told us to walk to another room, so we did. Sat down five minutes later and were told to walk to another room. Where dr Lopez and a different assistant were standing. I sat down and then proceed to tell him that I am afraid of the dentist and might freak out (meaning just tears) without even a question or explanation he threw his hands in the air and said "No I won't do it" and walked out. After all this waiting and bullshit for him to say that I was just ready to get the hell out of there. So I was shocked by his response to that especially after having "30" years experience. So no I wouldn't recommend this place the lack of communication and concern for the patient is ridiculous and almost non existent. GO ELSE WHERE read more

I have been going to Dr Lopez since 2008 after many terrible experiences with other dentists in the area. He is great at his craft ,very friendly and reasonably priced. I've always trusted him and I've never felt like I was being ripped off. I will keep him as my dentist for as long as we live here. read more
