This was my first visit for tooth pain. The staff were lovely, the Dentist not so much. I left feeling very uncomfortable. The bigger issue is trying to get money back. I was given a treatment plan for my dental services, after reviewing it, I asked for changes to be made and a refund of the deposit I had paid less than an hour ago. My wishes were ignored and to date no refund has been given although they agreed to it. I have zero issue paying for service rendered, however refusing to refund money where services have not been rendered is criminal and unethical. Now I am out $481, filling a legal complaint and asking this office to do the right thing. read more

Horrible experience with front desk! I preplanned my Mom's appt. 2 weeks in advance, took her off Eliquis, put her on Antibiotics for heart condition and let them know she was Hospice and bed bound. Appt was long, floors dirty, staff all piled up in the front talking about lunch plans, and how one was sick, possibly, what her kid had. What the hell was she doing there sick! Got to say Dr. Martinez was pleasant, but running in and out of rooms ragged. No lab coat, I just felt I took Mom to a 3rd world country dental place! Dyer Dental Care is easily the best dentist I have ever been too. I have had many bad experiences with dentist and I let them know. They made sure I was as comfortable and calm as I could've possibly been! My very first visit, they examined my teeth and told me every thing that's going on. They went in to detail on how they were going to move forward fixing it and what could happen if it continues to get worse. It was very comforting to know everything and not to keep me in the dark or confused. Any questions I had, they always had an answer too. They informed me of things that no dentist has ever told me before. My teeth were formed in ways that I was never made aware of. Thanks to this office, I am going to be able to get all of my teeth exactly how they are supposed to be! On the second day, I went to get fillings and a crown. Most numbing agents I have tried previously have not worked on me. Dr. Martinez made sure that I couldn't feel a single thing. Any slight discomfort I felt was immediately fixed because they were so dedicated to making sure this was a good experience for me. I was aloud to take a moment whenever I felt I needed to which also really helped me have a good experience. It put my mind to ease knowing that they cared so much about me as a person rather than just solely worried about my mouth. I had my tooth drilled down and ready for a crown in under 30 minutes! Super fast!! I needed 4 fillings and Dr. Martinez got them done in around 20 minutes. Insanely fast and he did such an amazing job making sure they blended with my teeth. He did all of this while also helping other patients. He never left me waiting for him longer than 10 minutes no matter how busy he was. An absolute pro! Linda was talking to me and explained every single things she was doing. She was very gentle and also made sure to keep me comfortable and aware of everything happening. The second I felt discomfort, I told her and she immediately fixed it. The entire staff used lots of encouraging words which also helped me have a good experience and remain calm. On my third visit, I was walked through the process, given a moment if i experienced discomfort and was given the best tips on how to avoid these problems moving forward. Adan did my X-rays on the first day and when there was discomfort, he would make sure to not be too long so that I wouldn't feel pain. He also made sure to talk to me and explain every bit of the X-rays and answered any questions I asked him, no matter how obvious the answer was, he answered and never made me feel dumb for not knowing. Abbi took me back on the first day but made sure to teach me how to floss properly (I hadn't been taught before) and never made me feel dumb for not knowing. She even recommended the best floss to use, where to get it and the prices. She made sure to tell me which ones to avoid as well! Andres did my deep cleaning and made sure to check on me, explain everything and show me exactly what he was doing. He was very kind and didn't make me feel bad for the conditions of my teeth rather he assured me how to prevent it and that I was going to be perfectly fine. All of the doctors assistants, Alex, Lien and Yoshi, also were just amazing. The manager, Mike, was always checking up on me and communicating with me about everything. I had so many questions and he answered every single one. He never gave me the sense he was annoyed by my questions rather he seems glad to give me more information on this process. If I didn't understand an answer, he would go into depth to make sure I fully understood everything. My entire experience was amazing and helped me get rid of some of my anxiety about the dentist. The staff gives the feeling of being a family rather than just coworkers. I go back in a few weeks to get a permanent crown and I don't feel even slightly worried about it which is a huge improvement from just three days ago! This will be my dentist moving forward and I highly recommend for you to check it out and work with them. Amazing staff and amazing treatment!! Couldn't be happier. read more

Being new to El Paso, I was looking for a dentist. I looked places up and Dyer Dental care was listed as one of the top rated dentistries in the area. And I definitely see why. Right off the bat, the staff was super friendly and sociable. Although, I was waiting about 45 minutes for their camera to charge (so they can take new photos of my teeth to put into my new patient profile), they made my visit very pleasant with their sincere and helpful attitude. For me, staff's attitude is the main reason I choose whether to come back to the business or not. Also, I really appreciated their patience and sympathy with accommodating my disability. It is tough finding a Dr. who able to work around certain restrictions so I'm overall happy that I found my go to dentist here in a new area so quickly. read more

I was there for 3 hours just for a new patient visit. Not going back mostly because of how long they took just to get X-rays and give me a "plan". I got nothing else done in those 3 hours. So I have been here several times. I left Affordable Dental, in downtown, to find something closer to home. Dr. Chin has the best bedside manner, every time. He is thorough and if you still have questions, he answers any concerns or doubts. What I am not satisfied with that there is a new hygienist and he was pretty rough with today. Very nice, rough when doing my cleaning. I have never had pain from having had a cleaning done. I couldn't even eat a donut from the pain. I reached out to the clinic and now waiting for a call back to see if I need to be seen. Hoping there is no damage to my back molars. read more

If I could give this clinic a 0 I would. I went to my consultation and Dr. Martinez seemed knowledgeable enough. He told me that I needed a root canal and I was told that they accepted my insurance and that they were in network. I was given an estimate of payment of around 800.00. When I went back 2 weeks later for my crown, I told them that I was still in pain and I was told it was because the temporary crown doesn't allow for healing, but now that I have a permanent crown I should be fine. What a lie!!! 3 months down the road after having headaches, tooth aches, and dizziness everyday, I come to find out that the root canal was not performed correctly and I needed to go see a root canal specialist. 700.00 later, Dr. Cao at Root Canal Specialist was amazing and fixed the initial procedure. She had to do another procedure to cut open my gum and drain my sinuses plus cut the root that was not cut the first time by Dr. Martinez at Dyer Dental. I also found out that Dyer Dental was not in network with my insurance so I wound up paying double for my botched services since I had to pay everything up front and was promised a return to my credit card after insurance paid. ANOTHER LIE. I have now been talking to Yadhira who has been no help because she says I have to talk to Heather who is some imaginary person that doesn't work in the office and you can't get in touch with. This business is definitely going to get closed down soon. My insurance also let me know that they are making false claims under a dentist that doesn't even work there, Dr. Greenhalgh. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST. Save your time and money and go to Agave Dental down the street. They are awesome and open 6 days a week 7:00-7:00. read more

Every time I go into the office I am welcomed by the receptionist Omar, he is very friendly and welcoming. The waiting area is nice and you aren't waiting for too long. The staff is really friendly and they listen to your remarks when taking back to the exam rooms. Each experience I have had has been fast, nice and easy to reschedule. I went to this place to get wisdom teeth extracted and fillings done I did two of the three wisdom teeth they do know sedation they give you nothing to relax it's pretty much a suck it up kind of thing I got 4 to 5 rounds of anesthesia local put in and I could still feel them ripping my tooth out I went back because I let them know that the pain killers that I received Weren't working, so I go back in they look at my mouth can't understand why I'm in pain because the holes and everything look great but my entire face is swollen in the front so they tell me well we can't really do anything about your pain so if it still hurts by Monday then was will give you something stronger . All weekend can't you can't open my mouth because of the stitch that's in the back of my mouth holding my mouth closed can't do anything finally go back in on Monday, February 14 take out the stitch that wasn't allowing me to open my mouth the entire week so then tell me I will take ibuprofen you should be fine I still can't swallow I still can't do anything I tell them I need something stronger I don't wanna give you any more narcotics so ibuprofen should be fine I'm trying to explain that ibuprofen is doing nothing for the pain so then I leave I call my husband tell him what happen he tells me to go right back in there because it is not right that they're not listening to me and tell them that ibuprofen and the stuff that they gave me were not doing anything to prescribe a different pill that is not that one that would do the same thing to numb my pain and all of a sudden because I speak with my hands because I am from Cuba and that's how we speak all of a sudden I am being aggressive and they kicked me out of the dental office stating that I am seeking drugs and that I am a racist read more

I made an appointment here because of the good reviews and because I had a dental emergency. The office staff and dentist was very nice. But the dentist lied to me and told me that my bottom jaw was deteriorating and in order to "save it" I needed a $5,600 implant. Fast forward to a week later. I go to my normal dentist and him and his nurse tell me that there's absolutely nothing wrong with my bottom jaw and that the work I do need done will be around $600. The dentist at dyer dental, dr. When my dentist retired, I saw two other dentists, in Northeast El Paso and the Westside. I was told I needed "work" on my teeth by one dentist and an additional panoramic x-ray by the other dentist. Seeing a dentist in Juarez, I was told they were pushing work on me I didn't need. Dyer Dental was highly recommended by a friend and I finally set up an appointment. WOW! The staff was super friendly and the dentist was friendly, knowledgeable and ethical. He didn't push that I needed "work" on my teeth like the other dentists.
