She found the perfect photo, printed on wood (which is an unusual process), that featured many pelicans on a sand bar. We placed it in a perfect place on hallway wall in our house, right under one of her pelican mosaics. We enjoy looking at it every time we pass it. This gallery is right next to Paula's Pancake House, which always has a long wait for a table for brunch. So, while waiting to be seated at the restaurant do take a look inside the gallery. Kara was very personable, responded quickly and had a great turnaround time however her I was very…read moredisappointed with her photos. We hired her for our family Xmas photos and she produced about20 or so images with only one 4 images I truly liked. She charged me 450 (about 110 per image of you really think about it). Most of the images were over exposed - where we looked pasty and it was difficult to distinguish our features or there were harsh shadows on our faces. After I mentioned this to her she quickly attempted to fix the images but there is only so much you can do when lighting is a factor. I was pretty sad as this was our baby's first family Christmas photo- I think next time I'll stick to photographers that have more than 2 reviews . Update- 2016 Kara was very gracious in her offer to reshoot. If we lived closer I would take her up on the offer. I appreciate her efforts to make her customers happy.
