I called and asked if a letter could be prepared for me. I was pleasantly surprised when the office called me the next day to tell me they could mail me the letter, I could pick it up, or I could go to the patient portal to print it. I was going to be in the area so I stopped by and picked my letter up. Kudos for their fast response. I have been a patient at this business for years. I highly recommend this business. Dr. Billings and Dr. Holcomb have taken excellent care of me.

Every time you call, you have to leave a message. I could not get anyone to call me back. Our primary Dr called again. It took forever for the nurse to talk to a person. I was supposed to get a call by lunch. It did not happen. Some advice from a paying customer... pay someone to answer your phone and make appointments. The Dr we use is actually good, but the customer service and scheduling is awful! Dr. Billings, hire someone to schedule or fire whoever is supposed to be calling people back and doing scheduling. It's killing your business.

After being examined, it was determined that MIL needed an endoscopy to determine what's going on since oral medications from her GP weren't working. The office staff scheduled the endoscopy at Crestwood and we took my MIL in. Dr. Rice performed the endoscopy and found that MIL's esophagus had narrowed. He stretched it and she is able to swallow foods again. He was patient and explained everything he would do to her so that she understood. He is great with elders and we highly recommend him!!!

The staff does not care about patients, is overly rude, does not answer the phone, and does not return phone calls. It took almost six months to get an appointment which I had to schedule by going to the office because I was unable to get in touch with the staff by phone or email. All of my interactions with staff members were hostile. I was not told about the paperwork that had to filled out before the appointment and when I showed up for the appointment that I had to wait six months for, they said they could not see me. None of this was communicated to me and they did not care at all when I questioned them about their process and the reason for the policy. I left without being seen and will not be back. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I was in pain and had driven for over an hour and went downstairs to my car and made the phone call. I understand how insurance works, but at what point is the patient on the payroll? When I finally saw Dr. Roath it was a speedy visit. My next visit was a procedure and Dr.Roath did perform it, she is pleasant. This would be my second office visit and there had been some changes in insurance numbers but the same policy. However, the "receptionist" informed me that I should have gotten a referral before making the appointment. I asked if there was not something to flag when you call to remind me so many times. The "receptionist" informed me that it was the duty of the primary care provider and/or patient to do so. Excuse me instead of pointing blame let's just show some professionalism and tell the patient that you will make a phone call to that office and get that referral sent over and that it may take a few extra minutes while showing some compassion for another human being!!! I have never seen a more inept collective group of "professionals".

His…read moreplace in the practice seems to be doing colonoscopies and when they are clear he basically dismisses you until the next time you need a colonoscopy. I was still having chronic problems (and still do 4 years later) after the colonoscopy but he was uninterested in looking for any other problems or cures since I was "perfectly healthy". I tried to see other doctors in the group but was told I was not allowed to see any other doctors at The Center for Colon & Digestive Disease. Dr. Pendley also runs chronically late. You will not see him any sooner than one hour past your appointment time and look out if you say anything to him about it! He gets madder than a wet hen when you mention his tardiness.

Dr. Pendley coded it as "history of polyps" (which was not correct) as the primary reason for the procedure, which made it a diagnostic (or medical) problem and subject to a high deductible plus a percentage of the cost to do the procedure. I spoke to many, many people at my insurance company (and researched this online) and was told this was not correctly coded and should be corrected. The billing department refused and no one else at the doctor's office would help me. A friend told me later she had been charged to come into Dr. Pendley's office and pay for a doctor's visit to be told a polyp was benign. I do not recommend and will not use this doctor or any doctor in this practice (The Center for Colon & Digestive Disease) again.
