Her holistic approach encompassed many areas that guided me through my healing journey and her empathetic patient style provided a safe space to experiment and find a plan that worked for my specific needs. I am grateful for Cordelia's dedication, understanding, and gentleness through my quest for health and healing . She's one of the good ones!

I had my gaul bladder removed at the age of 38 because "it had quit functioning." I was first told back in 2005 that I "probably had leaky gut," a term I came to know long before most doctors ever heard of it. I went to a gastroenterologist with a full page of history, circumstances and symptoms, and was told it was all in my head and that I needed to just relax. Between the lack of support and my denial of the seriousness of the condition, I went on living another 20 years with the discomfort of (POSSIBLE TMI ALERT!!!) bloating, gas and diarrhea, but what really got my attention was the fact that one morning, the magnesium capsule I'd taken the night before made it all the way through my system and out to see the light of day, UNDIGESTED!!! Wow, I wasn't even digesting and metabolizing the foods I'm taking in. Eventually I was diagnosed with SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) and treated that condition. I'd had all the food sensitivities tests, and stool tests, saliva, test. I was trying to do my best but was really overwhelmed with so much information while at the same time a lack of direction and support. Then the 20 years of ignoring my prediabetes diagnosis kicked over into diabetes. OK, sh*t's getting real, I can't keep ignoring my health! Then one day Cordelia appeared in my Facebook thread, I sat in on her free introductory webinar and was very impressed with her knowledge and passion to help others heal themselves. I scheduled a 45 minute consultation with her which turned into double that. I knew that if I could follow Cordelia's guidance, I would see improvements. At least I could put it to the test because I had to do something. At the time, Cordelia offered a shorter group program focused on eliminating foods and reintroducing them (that's a very simplified description) OR a longer, one on one program that involved fasting protocols rather than the elimination. I chose the second option, which turned out to be such a better approach for me. And, since Cordelia is so awesome, she also threw in the other group option as well so I was able to benefit from that group's WhatsAp chats, and weekly Zoom classes. After 5 month of working with Cordelia, my symptoms have improved at least 80%, improvements equal to my efforts to follow the instructions. That % rate is just a number. It doesn't speak to all of the many take aways I got from Cordelia's coaching. Because Cordelia was always committed to meeting me where I was at in this process, she saw that I could benefit from coaching beyond dietary and supplement instructions. And she saw that I was willing to be vulnerable and really do the hard work. The one on one, 5 months of coaching by Cordelia taught me to: Trust the process...This is invaluable as I'm applying it to so many things in life. After eliminating the foods that were causing symptoms, and adding in several good supplements, with Cordelia's support, I found myself "stacking" one little hack on top of another, as many as I could each day and before I knew it, I was feeling better than I had ever felt in my entire life. And it was showing too because I was beginning to get compliments from friends. I was experiencing a success in my health and healing journey that I had never experienced before. A new bar had been set. For the first time ever, I was seeing results from my efforts, and seeing that I could do far more than I knew, thanks to the guidance and support of Cordelia. I appreciated what a great listener Cordelia was, always reflecting back to me, both verbally then followed up in writing a summary of each session. I was always impressed with Cordelia's organization of her coaching business. She was great at challenging me to set goals and then she'd follow up and hold me accountable with just the right amount of toughness and/or slack. Cordelia was the greatest cheerleader always recognizing every "win" and lavishing praise for the progress. Cordelia is continually furthering her education and learning the latest research available to help her help her clients heal themselves. Thanks to Cordelia's help, I have stepped back into my power, and am using my voice to advocate for myself. I have stopped being a people pleaser. I have cleaned up my sleep hygiene and am feeling more rested each day. Those "wins" all factor into healing my gut, and improving my digestion, but mostly, they have enriched my life immeasurably as I venture on into the best days of health and wholeness ahead. I will always carry the wisdom and experience of Cordelia with me in all my days. When we know better, we do better!

As a…read moreresult of this and the emotional barricades upholding it I'd been running myself arid with anxiety and bouts of depression. That was over a year ago and I truly feel like a changed person. Talya has been a cooling balm from the moment I met her. Her teachings showed me how to take responsibility for my health and ultimately how to mature as an individual. Not only is Talya incredibly wise and intelligent she is outstandingly sweet and warm. She is a rare treasure indeed. You will leave her office feeling like you'd been with a mystic healer. Talya has cultivated her craft of helping other people and everyone can benefit both physically and mentally from her advice. That is so long as people are ready to accept the healing journey. Talya offers classes online and in-person sessions for one-on-one advice. I highly recommend having a session with her first and then taking her classes. Although I don't think it is necessary, it makes the classes much more personalized. Her classes are wonderfully detailed and thorough and offer much healing information. By having a session with her first you can take her classes knowing yourself better and apply the advice that is personal to you. Sending healing vibes your way. Hare Krishna! So Talya made her delicious and health (healing) chicken soup and delivered it for me to my friend. She even took a picture of the jars that she left on my friend's door step (love that, what a sweet and caring touch) I so appreciate Talya's amazing cooking and the care with which she delivered the food and left a little note for my friend on my behalf. Ordering the food and email communication with her was very easy. My friend loved the soup and is on the mend. Thank you for your love, support and amazing healing food.

He has personally written doctors on my behalf. He is a great advocate and knows the medical system. Clinical trials, new EDS research, and also solutions to my particular knee problem. He has good instructions on how to deal with doctors. His motto for that is: "No screaming. No crying." Lol. He is also encouraging and cares about his patients. Even our toughest conversations, I felt supported and seen. Not scared of examining patients and rolling up his sleeves. Well-versed in historical medicine. Doesn't just glance at an MRI, he'll take the proper time. He had more insightful things to say about my MRI than 6 different orthos! Highly recommend. He's a gem. He's a hero.

When my mother was in the hospital, he was our advocate - he helped my mother get seen my the cardiologist asap when the hospital was pushing back. Dr. Desai was extremely thorough in reviewing my mother's blood work and adjusting her medications accordingly. No other physician provided such detail to me. As another example, I had an elderly relative with extremely complex medical issues. Dr. Desai was only a phone call away to speak with my relative's care facility, adjust medicines, and speak with the hospitalist when he was in the hospital. I don't know of any family physician that would be able to provide that level of care! Dr. Desai practices medicine the old fashioned way - by spending time with the patient and getting to know the patient. Not only is he an excellent physician, but he is excellent at advocating for his patients in our complex healthcare system. I would recommend Dr. Desai to anyone who would like to have an excellent physician on call (he actually answers his phone for his patients) and an advocate.
