I can see why people dislike this hospital. I've been waiting for 30 minutes already and that's just to get signed in for an x-ray. It used to be much easier. You used to go directly to radiology and they checked you in. Even after I get through registration then I need to go to radiology and wait there. Next time I'll have my doctor send me to Santa Cruz. It may be farther but I think I can get there and home quicker than waiting at Watsonville Hospital. I used to have a really good opinion of this hospital, not so much now.

The waiting room was big and there were 3 other people waiting. No line to check in and were seated for less than 5 minutes before we were called in. Everyone was nice and attentive, including the doctor. He even called to follow up on some additional instructions after consulting with radiology. Total time in urgent care including getting an X-ray done was 1 hour. Even though it's far, I wouldn't think twice in coming back if this was the only choice for same day care. Thanks for not making urgent care a horrible experience. Nothing worse than waiting and not being seen when you are sick especially on a holiday and on a Saturday.

Despite, 2 out of the 3 in our household meeting criteria for rapid, we decided on the regular for a more precise result. We then proceeded to get tested. The nurse who helped us (I believe her name was Ana), was so very thorough and informative. She took her time with each of us and took extra care for my husbands cousin, who is blind. We thanked her profusely because she just made us all feel so much better. In these COVID times, our emotions are all heightened. Our visit to this clinic and the urgency of the matter were held in high regard. I'll be honest, I do not usually run to clinics. I was exceptionally stressed recently regarding some clinical requirements I had that needed to be met for my grad school program and for one of the tests they required I needed prior documentation that I could not locate. Fritzi Saldana one of the front desk clerks was able to obtain my medical records (for a test over 10 years old) so then I could get the test I needed for grad school. This was so meaningful to me I don't know if she understands, I've been working towards my dream of completing this grad school program for over 10 years and starting the clinical portion is a huge milestone for me. Without her help, I'd risk delaying the start of my clinical portion. Her efficient and professional assistance eased my anxiety and helped me relax restoring my hope that my clinicals would begin without any delay.
