Well, I tried to find the website and no website! Called and received a long, twice repeated, drawn out message about a move and new hours. This is the only doctor who had only one bad review and it was based on his assistant Eva's personality. Although the face of a company can make or break a decision with whom you seek to conduct business with, I felt comfortable moving forward with meeting Dr. G due to his 99.999% excellent reviews. There are zero complaints against him. I think he is worth meeting or at least talking with. Nowhere to be found. Not even on Facebook. Does anyone know what happened to him? The best decision of my adult life, Dr G is beyond talented, he is an artist of his work. My breast implants are absolutely flawless. This is something I wanted to do for so long after having my 2 kids. At 30 i wanted to finally feel confident with an area I was always self conscious about I would recommend anyone to dr g ! Dr. G and his staff are amazing. They make you feel like family. I got a Mommy Makeover almost 5 months ago. Breast lift (lollipop) with implants, and tummy tuck with muscle repair. The second I walked into their office I left like this was definitely the office I belonged in. My husband was definitely more nervous about the surgery than I was and asked a TON! Of questions. Hi my name is Lina, and I am transgender. I've been on hormone therapy for 5 months and although I was happy with some of the results I knew from research and other trans friends, that I wouldnt grow large natural looking breast. So I asked a co-worker and she recommended Dr G. I had always seen pictures of her breast on Instagram and never realized she had any work done, they just looked so natural. At first I was a little hesitant because of my preconceived notions of plastic surgeons and that they wouldn't have my best interests in mind. But with Dr G nothing could be further from the truth. He blew all my expectations out of the water and took a lot of time to personally understand why I wanted them, the look and size, as well as my expectations. Also , he was very clear about the risk and potential issues so I never felt like I was in the dark about anything. As someone who's transgender and part of the LGBT community, it's difficult when people don't understand what you're going through. However dr. G, Eva and the rest of the staff have worked with several patients like myself and are very knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs of people going through hormone therapy. This doctor has got to be the most personable doctor in all of La Jolla he is a very nice doctor. That being said his skills aren't so up to par with his personality (it seems) I went in for a consult but lack of before and after pictures is what made me decide to go else where -as well as his assistant EVA.. Wow! This lady is extremely unprofessional but acts very confident, she will give you aALL type of excuses to avoid answering any questions you may have (even though she tells you to feel free to ask HER any questions) she will claim to get back to you once she speaks to Dr.G but you will never hear from her unless you get a hold of her again shes extremely unhelpful. I do not think I can rate Dr. G highly enough! Last year, he put in implants and did a minor reduction of my breasts. We elected not to do a full lift at the time, hoping it would be unnecessary. That procedure went beautifully, however did not fully achieve what i was going for. This year, he followed up by slightly modifying my capsules and performing a lillipop lift BINGO! I have my wish boobs!!!! Seriously, i showed him a picture i think 5000 women on real self have picked as 'wish boobs' and they are not lifted, just implants if anything, and that's what i now have. They are gorgeous! I have been wanting my lips done for a while now but I wanted to make sure that I went to the right place that would really listen to what I wanted and not make me look like I had big Duck lips. I wanted someone who really knew what they were doing and once finding out that Dr.G is an Expert Injector I knew he was the guy. When I met with Dr. Grzeskiewicz I told him how I felt that my lips wasn't perfect. I felt like my left side was more slanted than the right and asked how he thought he could even it out. He handed me a mirror and began explaining that my left side was slightly more slanted than the right and in order for him to fix he would need to put a little more filler in my center cupids bow to create a deeper bow. He was very descriptive on what he would do and how he would do it so I knew exactly what was going on. I felt so comfortable that I decided to do it right then and there. He did a nerve block that he injected in my cheeks to help numb my lower face and I'll be honest, I HATE NEEDLES so I was extra nervous, Breanna his MA was so nice and calming and even offered to hold my hand. I definitely worked my self up because it barely stung a tiny bit and after that it was fine. I didn't feel him doing the lips at all. I was so relaxed and just sat there with my eyes closed thats how much I didn't feel him doing anything. He still made sure to be very gentle and not put too much in. He handed me a mirror when he was done and though they were swollen as they would be for the first 24 hours or so I was already so impressed with them and couldn't wait to see the end result. The numbing went away later that evening and by 2 days later they were looking even better than before. It took about a week for them to settle to how they would be and I can't say thank you enough Dr.G for my gorgeous lips they are so nice and subtle and I get lots of compliments on them.Everyone loves how "Natural" they look and thats exactly what I wanted. Dr. G. is one of those incredible, rare, above and beyond doctors that everyone wishes that they can find. For 6 years (since my first pregnancy) I had suffered with severe abdominal separation, a protruding umbilical hernia, loose skin, stretch marks, and breasts that were completely sagging and deflated from nursing two babies for almost 4.5 years total. It was finally time to "get momma fixed up" as my husband put it so the search for our doctor began. I knew that I was in for a serious amount of work that I was not going to take lightly so I internet searched, asked for referrals, and read every review I could. Dr. G was 1 of 4 doctors that I interviewed and to say it was love from first meeting is an understatement. Dr. G truly met ME as a person not just a patient. To say I wanted to cry with joy the first time I saw my body is an understatement. Dr. G not just fixed the shell of a body that I had lived in for those years and felt so broken in, but he gave me the body I could have only dreamed about. My medical needs were all impeccably fixed with the abdominal repair and hernia, but also the aesthetic repairs blew my mind to now have the gorgeous waist he had sculpted me, the breast he had lifted for me, and the perfect sized implants that he so carefully listened and selected for me. I had been thinking about breast augmentation for years. I lost most of my breast tissue through years of intense training, along with two cup sizes. No matter what I did (even gaining weight), I never regained the size. I wanted my natural full breasts back! Couldn't be happier with Dr. G. Most women seem to go off of word-of-mouth when selecting a surgeon. Worse yet, they limit their options to the surgeons their friends used. I have a big problem with this. Of course if I ask my girlfriend if she liked her surgeon, she's going to say "yes," unless something went horribly wrong. Then, I ask my girlfriends how THEY selected a surgeon and they say "well so-and-so used him." That's not good enough for me. So I took it upon myself to do an exuberant amount of research. My goal was to find a surgeon who knew everything about cohesive implants, the types, sizes, surgical techniques. I wanted a surgeon knowledgeable enough to be able to lay out my options and provide a great recommendation for my goals and my body. So I studied..a lot, not about the surgeons, but about the products. I studied the manufacturers, the warranties, the stability of the companies, the sizes available in Europe and the US, the different shapes, the different gels, etc. That way, when I attend my consults, I knew whether the surgeon actually had experience with all three types of cohesive implants by asking some pointed questions. I selected four surgeons based on the reviews and before/after photos. I went to four consults total. Two surgeons were easily out of the running because they gave me wrong information about the implants, couldn't explain the differences very well and/or only had experience with one or two of the three cohesive implants available. I narrowed it down between Dr. Teitlebaum and Dr. G. Dr. Teitlebaum was highly qualified, came highly recommended and had extensive experience and knowledge with each of the implants. Dr. G was equally knowledgeable and experienced. Both doctors had the same aesthetic goals as me and preferred creating natural looking breasts. I also wanted breasts that FELT like breasts and not bags of water or hard round stones. Again, both surgeons had great recommendations and understood my goals completely. It was one of the toughest decisions I made in a long time. However, Dr. G's attention to his clients is beyond compare. I never felt rushed during my consults and whenever I sent follow up questions (which there were a lot of), I got a response the same day FROM Dr. G. None of the other surgeons were nearly as attentive. Ultimately, I went with my gut. Dr. G is warm, inviting, and does an excellent job of treating you as more than a mere potential patient. The entire experience with Dr. G and his office was incredible. Eva is very sweet, patient, and gives great advice and recommendations. She was also very responsive to any questions or concerns. I brought my boyfriend in on my second consult and he was treated with just as much respect. I truly felt cared for in this office. Everything was flawless. Even the after-care was exceptional. I was in a significant amount of pain as my pecs were very tight after the surgery. This was a result of my boxing and training regime. Dr. G was very responsive to my concerns and did not hesitate to provide additional pain management after he saw how much pain I was experiencing. I live and work in Beverly Hills, which has to be one of the meccas of breast augmentation in the states, but I chose to drive the 2+ hours to and from San Diego a few times for my breast augmentation because, after much research, I felt Dr. Grzeskiewicz was the best qualified surgeon for the job. I wanted someone with years of experience, especially with textured shaped anatomical implants, as well as a sensitive and compassionate doctor, an expert, an artist, and someone who I felt really cared and would strive to achieve the best possible outcome for me. In hindsight -14 days post surgery- I am happy to report I chose a doctor who met all of my requirements. At my first consult he spent almost two hours with me answering questions about the myriad of issues with which I was concerned: little to no breast tissue, asymmetrical folds that would need lowering, nipple placement and not wanting a harsh definition between my chest wall and the implants. He's a great listener and agreed the anatomical would work best on my frame. He and his right hand wonder woman Eva helped and offered feedback as I tried on sizers. I was and continue to be impressed by his painstaking attention to detail and his interest and involvement in all aspects of the process. Still, I did my due diligence and went to five or six other consults with top rated doctors. Some simply told me that shaped textured anatomical implants were bad because they rotate and end up looking distorted (not true). One top doctor in Beverly Hills who's done thousands of implants said he didn't think they'd look any different than smooth round implants but he'd use them if I wanted - only he had only placed them himself maybe seven times, and I wanted someone with much more experience. One doctor told me that my folds could not be lowered or changed in anyway. No one seemed as interested in helping me achieve the best possible results given my unique challenges as Dr. Grzeskiewicz. Thus, instead of having surgery with a 'top Beverly Hills' doctor three miles from where I live, I booked a hotel stay for breast surgery with a doctor 120 miles from where I live. My boyfriend was skeptical and even a bit critical of this decision, as logistically it made it much harder for us, but he went along with whatever I wanted. (smart man) Dr. Grzeskiewicz's anesthesiologist, Dr. Marsh, is a master. I was able to drink clear fluids up until a few hours before my afternoon surgery, including a special 'ClearFast' drink, so I was comfortable all day leading up to surgery and felt great coming out of surgery, which was a huge relief. I have had surgeries in the past where I couldn't drink anything at all the day of, which I find extremely uncomfortable, and have felt, for whatever reason, absolutely horrible and sick for hours after surgery. Not so with Dr. Marsh. Hats off to her. I am only 14 days post op and couldn't be happier with my results and with the care I have been given. Despite the multiple challenges my particular physique presented to Dr. Grzeskiewicz, I ended up with beautiful breasts - and it's still early in the game. He lowered and secured my folds and their placement is perfect. My scars are directly in my breast folds and won't be detectable once they heal. I really didn't want my nipples to end up too low on my breasts, something I thought might be difficult to avoid as pre surgery there was not a lot of skin between my nipple and breast fold, and I am so happy to report that my nipple placement is perfect! They're prettier than I ever thought they would be and I feel I couldn't have asked for a better result. The pain medications have kept me mostly comfortable, despite the relatively large increase in mass that my tissues and muscles have had to accommodate. Dr. Grzeskiewicz is always quick to respond to questions I have. I can't say enough great things about this doctor. He is a perfectionist. He has years of experience, and with that comes knowledge of a variety of techniques, as well as expertise, especially with the shaped textured anatomical implants that require absolute precision. He stays up to date on the latest technologies, is gentle, kind and he really cares. I have been reading stories for a while now and thought it fair to post a bit of my story.After giving birth to my baby and breastfeeding for 10 months my body was ruined, saggy breast with absolutely no volume , lots of fat deposit in my abdominal area that was not responding neither to exercises no diets. Then i decided to go with the breast augmentation and liposuction. First doctor i went to was Dr Daniel J Brown at Luxepacifica, the wait time for initial consultation was around 40 minutes after that i had consultation with his patient care coordinator Melanie Mason for about 30 minutes and then i had a chance to see doctor and the whole time he spent with me was around 15 minutes. I felt i was another client for him and he wants to take money from me , do his job fast and go. He immediately told me i have to do a breast lift in order to make breast augmentation, that made me sad, i did not expect that to be honest with you, no other options were given , i left the office frustrated. So that was big "no no no" for me, doing plastic surgery first time i wanted to be sure we are on the same page with doctor. Later Melanie sent me a quote for 21K. Second doctor i went to was Dr Smoot at La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Center, where i was referred to by the friend of mine.Good Doctor, little bit of old school, fun, left the office feeling" you tell us what to do- pay as and we ll do it". Later patient coordinator Jan Luck sent me pretty good quote. But still, everything was in rush, no personal touch, no connection with doctor. sorry Dr Smoot, i am not choosing you. Third Doctor, God sent was Dr. Joseph Grzeskiewicz. No wait time at all , like really no second waiting.The minute i entered their beautiful office i felt and was treated like a princess.Doctor spent 2 hours (!!!!) with me, asking about my lifestyle, family history, image of my dream body and telling me about new technologies that currently used in cosmetic surgery , what would work better for me and my body type, explained clearly recovery time , so he took his time to answer all my questions, concerns. Advised a way how we can avoid a breast lift procedure while doing breast argumentation. He was extremely kind, and made me feel very comfortable. And i tell you this, i am business owner , every time i need to make decisions i need at least a night to sleep and think about it, but after the consultation with doctor G i paid a deposit to book my surgery at once. I am an avid runner and have had difficulty with getting rid of my love handles. I have been considering liposuction for some time now and went to see Dr. G. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by his kind staff and they were all very sweet and accommodating. I felt that they went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Dr. G is AMAZING!!! He was very highly recommended to me by my sister in law and cousin so I knew I had to go see him for a consult for breast augmentation. From the moment I stepped foot into his beautiful office I felt so welcome and cared for. Breast augmentation is a sensitive and sometimes emotional experience. Dr. G and Eva took care of my physical and emotional well being more than I ever could have expected. Dr G. is an incredible and talented plastic surgeon with also a very warm and caring bedside manner. The moment I walked into the office for a consultation for a breast augmentation, I was warmly greeted by Dr. G's staff, Eva, and Dr. G. Dr. G spent and Eva spent over an hour with me for the consultation. His knowledge and experience regarding breast augmentations was impressive. Dr G. and Eva answered all the questions I had, and they both put me at ease regarding the anxiety I had about having surgery. During the consultation Dr. G also took measurements, and I tried on a sizer bra. I wanted a very natural look. Dr. G and Eva helped and guided me to the perfect size for my body shape. I knew right after the consultation that Dr. G was the perfect doctor for my breast augmentation, and I scheduled a surgery date the following day. Today I am 3 weeks post op, and already so incredibly happy with my results! The anesthesiologist, Dr. Marsh and the Registered Nurse, Gudren were also amazing and caring during surgery day. Dr. G is the best plastic surgeon in San Diego! I went to Dr. G to perform a breast augmentation after having my first two children and loved the results! He was patient and kind and listened to what I wanted to accomplish. I went back after successfully nursing my third child and wanted to talk to him about redoing my augmentation as I experienced a little relaxation in the muscles after nursing for almost 2 years. I loved my larger nursing breasts and realized I wanted to go bigger and hoped that we would be able to accomplish this without another lift.
