I am writing this not only out of personal necessity but also as a warning to others. Years ago, I underwent a breast reduction procedure performed by Dr. Jeffrey Umansky. When I expressed immediate and legitimate concerns about the grossly asymmetrical, misshapen outcome, I was dismissively met with the condescending remark: "Let's remember, they're sisters, not twins." This patronizing statement was clearly meant to deflect responsibility and silence a vulnerable, young patient who had just trusted him with her body. The result was not only physically disfiguring, but emotionally devastating. At the time, I lacked the personal and emotional support to pursue legal recourse. However, with time and reflection, it's become undeniably clear: I was negligently and carelessly operated on, and the trauma I endured has left lasting scars--both literally and psychologically. To be specific, Dr. Umansky's surgical execution resulted in: Sloppy and uneven internal tissue excision Poorly closed incisions, resulting in significant scarring and dog-ear deformities Asymmetrical areolas, with nipples more than an inch off from one another Long-term disfigurement that has made any corrective procedures extremely complex and costly Despite my desperation and embarrassment, I reached out to the office manager shortly after the surgery to request even a partial refund so I could afford reconstructive work elsewhere. My plea was coldly denied and ultimately ignored. The lack of professional accountability shown by both Dr. Umansky and his office was reprehensible. Since then, I have consulted with multiple board-certified plastic surgeons, all of whom confirmed the extensive damage done and emphasized the difficulty of now restoring what was once a healthy, intact chest. One even stated that the tissue had been "butchered"--their words, not mine. I have photographic documentation of both the immediate post-op results and my current condition, which I am prepared to share publicly and with appropriate legal channels if necessary. If the platform allowed, I would upload these images in full to give others the visual proof of what I have suffered due to Dr. Umansky's substandard care. Dr. Umansky, whether your staff chose to shield you from the fallout or not, you should know: your conduct was not only negligent but borders on medical malpractice. Your failure to take responsibility--medically or financially--for the irreversible damage you caused is inexcusable. I gave everything I had to pay for that surgery, and in return, I was left physically distorted and emotionally broken. Around 2020 I got a Brazilian Butt lift done at this office but the results were not what I wanted. I had left a one star review on his website and Dr. Umansky had asked me to take it down. He said I would be able to get a free surgery to get what I wanted, however, I no longer trusted this doctor and was concerned about going under anesthesia again after being vocal of how unsatisfied I was after the procedure. I was in pain longer than expected during the healing process. I then gained almost 20 pounds six months after the surgery due to lack of exercise from not being able to move my body like how I used to. I would not go back to this establishment. read more

I underwent breast augmentation surgery with Dr. Jeff in July 2023. In my consultation he told me this would not be a difficult surgery and I'd be thrilled with my results. Following the procedure, I experienced significant pain on one side and a noticeable size discrepancy. Dr. Jeff advised that the results would stabilize within six months to a year. However, a year later, I continue to suffer from permanent nerve damage in my left armpit and side of breast. My results are uneven and extremely asymmetrical with one side being large and bottomed out and the other smaller and sitting two inches higher. Not only am I being seen by a neurologist and pain management doctors, I also have to pay for a complete revision to fix what Dr. Jeff has left me with. Make sure you research very well. Check if the surgeon you are choosing has any medical malpractice lawsuits. Don't go off the before and afters on his website. Those pictures are from other surgeons and the office will not tell you whose pictures are whose. As far as the office goes, the staff are friendly and I've never had any complaints there. One thing that was not the greatest is the operating room that's used in the back of the office. It is old and out dated with old equipment and it is extremely cluttered, not really giving a calm peaceful vibe right before surgery. *editing review to add that I asked Dr. Umansky for a "partial" refund, I NEVER asked for an exact amount. The office manager threw out the number of $7,500 (slightly less than half of my surgery cost). Dr. Umansky in return offered me a $2500 refund saying that amount would be the cost of revising the left side but added that I would have to sign a form releasing him from all liability, which I turned down. Everything in my review is accurate and honest. Extortion is a serious crime which I will not tolerate being falsely accused of! I have the right to leave a review of my results and experience, especially with the outcome I've had from Dr. Umansky, how dare your office try to suggest otherwise, shameful. read more

What she did not understand was I was referred from a friend of a friend. She actually asked me to hang up and go find out and to call back. After my meeting I spoke with a few others about my instinct and decided not to pursue a consult with this practice based on MY first impression. After 3 kids and losing a significant amount of weight I had a lot of loose skin and my breasts were very large and disproportionate- something that's bothered me for years! I had tried many routes to get a reduction (insurance etc) but none of it was working out. Dr. Jeffrey Umansky is an incredible surgeon. He works miracles, really. I had wanted a breast augmentation for over a decade. First of, I am not one to easily commit to plastic surgery! Maybe because I was born in Europe and my believe-system was always to stick with what nature has given to us, but I have to say after giving birth to twins and hitting my end 40ies, I felt what nature has given me was taken away from me through all those years.... I had my first surgery in 2016. I was recommended a breast lift plus implant. At first I was so pleased....but, I had to have 4 more surgeries after due to "bottoming out" or "elastic skin" Now, at the end of 2018, and after 4 surgeries, I'm more insecure about my body now due to scars, and to be honest I still need support to wear certain clothing. I'm in so much debt from these surgeries and at the end of the day self conscious about how the area looks. I've also referred two people this office, I got free botox out of it, I guess that was a nice perk, but, to be honest one of the customers I referred also had issues with their surgery. So no, I'm not going to give a 5 star because here I am in debt paying this off and not happy at all with my outcome. I think a second opinion would have benefited me greatly before having to go through the pain and financial stress. Dr. Umansky, is super nice, always remembered me and my personal life. Let me start off by saying what a blessing it has been to find Dr. Jeffrey Umansky and his entire office team! From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with such warmth, care, and overall quality customer service from the front desk personnel and felt a sense of "family" as I was treated like a VIP. Finding a plastic surgeon (PS) you can trust with great results and optimal quality care can be challenging, but it helped that I had a childhood friend employed at the Umansky Plastic Surgery office for years so this seemed like a great start and she automatically made me feel confident with Dr. Jeff and his education, experience and knowledge, which is paramount in selecting the right PS. I set up my appointment and since this was my first consultation, I was a bit nervous and intimidated having to disrobe and be evaluated while in the nude. But I have to say once Dr. Jeff walked into the room, he was warm and friendly and made me feel completely comfortable. I could tell immediately from our initial meeting and interaction that he was the surgeon to perform my surgery. He has the best bedside manner and asked me what I was looking to get done and told him I had lost a large amount of weight and as a result had a lot of extra skin on my stomach and my breasts had gone south of the border. It was then time for the dreaded assessment and he took one look at my belly and breasts and determined what he could do to correct these areas. I appreciated his honest, candid, professional opinion and recommended a tummy tuck (TT) breast lift (BL) and augmentation (BA) to get the results I needed post weight loss. I knew that was what I wanted/needed so I was glad he confirmed it and we were on the same page. I was feeling both excited and nervous about moving forward but knew I was in excellent hands with Dr. Jeff, so without much hesitation, decided to proceed with scheduling the surgery. I should mention that Dr. Jeff was the first and last plastic surgeon I researched but again once I met him knew he was the "one." My body image has always been so huge to me, considering iv owned one bathing suit in 5 years will make you a believer. I had high standards for what I wanted to look like and diet & exercise alone wasn't cutting it. So, after doing my research on SmartLipo I decided that i would follow through with the procedure..I was interested in getting upper/lower abs, waist, arms, flanks and lower back contoured, a lot right. I visited 3 other offices before making my decision and this was by far the best! Based on the pricing of the areas & the expertise given I knew this was the right choice. I was also put under anesthesia which was a huge comfort, as I found a lot of offices don't do. The day of the procedure everything went as smooth as possible, I was in and out in what seemed like no time. I believe 2.2 liters of fat was taken, that's quite impressive! Its been one week since my procedure and all I have to say is WOW, I have faint to no scars, my swelling has already greatly reduced and I can already see what a difference this made. Its unbelievable! I was worried about having lumps or being uneven in areas but I'm not at all! my shape is curvy and already smooth! I know I'm going to be even more surprised as time goes by. I am currently 106 days Post-Op from my breast augmentation with Dr Jeffrey Umansky and I couldn't be more satisfied with my results! I am almost 25 years old, 130 lbs, 5'4 height, and went from a 34-A cup to my desired "Full C cup" which I'm being sized now as a 34-DD in Victoria secret which as any Victoria secret bra shopper knows the sizing there is a bit off. I had set my mind on a 365cc high profile silicone, incision through areola (SO happy I chose that) my cup is definitely a 34-D or 34-C depending on which brand I am purchasing. But either way I am happy with how natural my breasts look and feel. They 100% fit my body type and unless a person knew I hadn't had breasts growing up they would never be able to tell, which for me, was the goal. I desired a look that made me feel that confidence of a well proportioned woman and I truly truly feel Jeffrey achieved that goal for me. This man and his team are beyond polite and accommodating. Terry was my guide prior to surgery and helped me with the best financing plan and was able to walk me through what to plan for before during and after. I was on bed rest for 3 days and went to work on my 4th day. I took everything very easy, I did not take any narcotics prescribed, just Tylenol 800 for the first week and was completely fine. Lifting my arms of course felt sore, but nothing the gym hadn't made me feel before. I wouldn't compare someone else's process to mine, every woman is different, but this surgery truly was a breeze for me. But that has a lot to do with me finally making the decision to follow through after seeing 2 doctors prior in the last 5 years, then changing my mind. When I went to visit with Jeffrey, it just felt right and I felt safe. Also, he's done many surgeries on my family members and friends who were also satisfied and rave about him and his Dad when he practiced as well so I walked into his office with trust in his work. Dr. Umansky goes over and beyond for his clients!! I was referred to Dr. Jeff Umansky by a former friend. He did amazing work for him and I had been considering a rhinoplasty as long as I could remember. Dr. Umansky has a very calm demeanor, he is always smiling, and he puts you at ease from the second he walks into a room. He gave me realistic expectations from day 1. I personally wasn't extremely satisfied after surgery but I'm sure it all had to do with me. I originally told Dr. Umansky that I didn't want a super small nose. So he went fairly minimal during the first procedure. He then saw me every 4 weeks to see how my nose was healing. After about a year he asked if I wanted him to operate again. I only had to pay for anesthesia and he took care of the rest! He then checked on me every 4 weeks again. His staff is also friendly and helpful! They greet you the second you walk in the door and everyone is just as pleasant as you are helped in the room before Dr. Umanksy comes in.
