I'm not dismissing other people's experience with him, rather saying that I've been a long time patient and still choose to be one. He's always happy to see me and tries his best to listen to my concerns when I come in.

Fast forward to present day - I went to go visit him with another concern. After spending most of my visit talking about his own personal life and telling me that I looked to be in great shape (weird), he told me that I probably had no cause for concern (despite my discomfort and issues I was having with my body health) and just told me to go get blood and urine work done. I listened and did just that. The results came back pretty clean so I thought there was no cause for concern. 3 weeks later, my symptoms worsened so I called him on a Saturday to ask if there was any medicine I could take or if he could possibly prescribe me antibiotics to help me with an infection. He was very curt, blunt and rude over the phone telling me that I wasn't listening to him and if I wanted his opinion to just take it. He told me to go to urgent care so they could tell me what was wrong. Oh not to mention that he made sarcastic/snide remarks about asking me if I had multiple sexual partners without any sensitivity toward my situation. He was more interested in sounding sarcastic and lackadaisical than concerned. I wonder if he treats all his patients and even his own kids this way. If a Primary Care Physician can't even prescribe antibiotics, ever tell me what's wrong with my body and will lack any and all empathy when addressing me health concerns, what good is he? Seems like Dr. Gupta would be better suited to just being a guidance counselor since all he's interested in is discussing what he did over the weekend instead of offering any helpful medical advice or solutions. Not sure if he's past his prime, but these days, Dr. Gupta, you need some empathy and patience when speaking with folks. It's called being kind. If you're going to be rude because I "need to listen what I'm telling you to do and just take my opinion you called me for" when I'm clearly concerned and in pain, then you clearly have other issues. Never going back to this "doctor". Read the other poor reviews he has. It checks out. Seems like it's time for him to check out and hit the retirement stride.

RUN!!!! The worst medical experience of my life…read more The Doctors have the lowest level of care or professionalism I have ever seen. They are massively incompetent and were so unreliable that they didn't send in multiple prescriptions that they prescribed. The doctors were unable to be reached by there staff every time I have called. Each time I called I was told I would get a call back from the doctor but still have never heard back. The Staff is both unprofessional and inept. They lack empathy and are combative with almost every patient I have seen walk into their office. When you call in, it is unclear if they ever actually pass along any medical updates, concerns or refill requests to the doctor.

I met Dr. Kwon in the foyer of my condo complex and found out that we had the same last names and that he was a general practitioner. Looking for a doctor, I quickly made an appointment and jetted off to Silver Spring. Dr. Kwon's office was clean and quaint - lots of little old Korean ladies who hadn't quite caught on to the English craze here in America - but hey, it's a niche market and you have to cater to the customer if you're going to survive. Very friendly, gets back to you quickly, and doesn't talk down to you when you ask a question. I have kept him on (even though I've been using the VA medical center lately too) as my doc and will continue to go to him in the future.

Horrible experience at this practice…read more 1. During discussion of my quite minimal medical history, Dr. Doman diagnosed me with possibly THREE major syndrdomes - Sjoren's (um, aren't you a gastroenterologist? my dry eye doctor says no Sjoren's), Cron's (only bcuz a relative had it), and Barrett's esophagus. Wow! All this without even doing an exam. After exam I had none of these. What a great bedside manner. Let's frighten the patient based on nothing. 2. I was told test results showed heartburn and gastritis. I took pills for a month, then figured out I had a problem with nuts. I was not able to make the follow up due to work problems and then Covid lockdowns hit. 3. Someone called me months later, during Covid, clearly trying to drum up money by getting people to do telehealth calls, with full charges to insurance and full copays. I said I didn't have the money at this time. This horrible woman then said: "Don't you want to know your pathology report?" OMG! how sick is that. I said, "if you have withheld negative test results from me I will absolutely sue you for malpractice." She refused to answer one way or the other and kept pressuring me. I gave in just to shut her up, then canceled the nexxt day. I would go near them after that. 4. They kept calling me to press for an appt! I had to write a letter to make them stop! These are some horrible people. 5. This week a bill collector called to tell me I owe $600, and they had sent three letters. TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. This place is a complete trainwreck, and anyone who would try to manipulate someone to give them money for an appt using fear is a very sick person. At some point I will go to another practice and if I find they hid negative test results from me for months I will be contacting my lawyer.

I just love her style - she's very REAL and spends time talking with you about both your medical issue and life in general. She was very sympathetic to my financial situation when I was seeing her (unemployed and without insurance) and always went out of her way to ensure that my costs would be as low as possible. My only regret is that once I became employed again my only option was Kaiser and I couldn't continue to see Kim for my medical needs. I HIGHLY recommend this practice, and Kim Kinder in particular.

Compared to our previous Dr. (who was also a wonderful doctor), office visits are painless; no long waits (we used to wait 2 hours or more to see my old doc), the office staff is a delight (not so with our old doc). Nurses are always on hand for shots or other assistance (great attitudes and personalities) and they have their own phlebotomist in house. Dr. Taubman is great!

I am very satisfied with his service. He was always nice and took me seriously so thats awesome. During my last appointment he was five minutes and apologized profusely. HOWEVER, after my most recent experience with the office I will certainly NOT be going back. I was referred to him in the ER in 2020. I was in surgery for about 9 months (every 6 weeks). I have been trying to get in touch with him since Nov 2020 (exactly 3 years) and so far I have only been able to get connected to the office twice. I give up. Plenty of other qualified doctors in the area. There's no way he is this bad at maintaining a competent office staff and phone line department in 2023. A pigeon would have successfully arrived in 3 years with my request but not his office staff. Sidenote, I referred him to my husband who got through to his office on the first attempt (miracle) and scheduled a tele-appointment in 2021. We waited for 30 mins for him to get on the line just to find out that the office never informed us that he had decided to cancel appointments and go on a vacation. I never feel rushed. When I had any health issues come up, he was able to see me same day or the nurse practitioner would speak with me over the phone. His staff are all kind and attentive. Highly recommend!
