They pulled the valve cover and noticed my rocker arm was off. They said they did not want to fix it. They charged me 280 dollars to take off the valve cover and put it back on. Would take Maybe a half hour!! I paid the bill. I went in to get my AC recharged and they quoted me 500 dollars!! They said they really don't want to work on older cars. I guess if they thought I was stupid enough to pay this, they would. I said that's Crazy for an AC recharge! I left and took my car to another shop and was charged 120 dollars!! I will Never bring my car in again and will Never refer anyone. Thought I was a "Valued Customer "?? That isn't a priority in this establishment.

It is a challenge to negotiate when it comes to purchase a vehicle at a dealership. Sometimes you have to set ground to get the right price based on the current market value of the vehicle or simply walk away. Of course they don't want to lose your business. The vehicle price was represented to me as $28,000, and I was verbally promised a $6.000 discount. I initially declined optional add-on products, but later discovered that multiple optional products and charges were included in the paperwork, including warranty/service contract, tire coverage, maintenance, key coverage, Repel, dent protection, dealer prep fee, and other charges. These items significantly increased the cash price and the amount financed. English is not my first language, and I believe the charges and documents were not properly explained to me before signing. In April 2026, I returned to the dealership and signed cancellation/refund paperwork for several optional products. I was told the refund would be sent to my lienholder, Suncoast Credit Union, within about six weeks. Almost three months later, my loan balance has not changed. I attempted to resolve the matter directly with management, but no acceptable written resolution was provided. Customers should carefully review every document, every add-on, every fee, and the final amount financed before signing anything at this dealership.

Nicholas personally checked on and quickly resolved my concern, assuring me that rotors and pads were all up to par and no repairs were necessary, instead of trying to sell me something I didn't need. The only place my Corvette will be serviced in the future. Note: I have seen reviews that indicate that Lav's does not accept credit cards. Not true! They gladly accepted my Visa card.

They also sell cars they purchase and restore. Incredible. The owner, Nick Lavallee, was a wonderful host, showing us around and telling us about the business, the cars, and the events they put on. Can you say huge car shows with food trucks? (Another one on May 7th). If you have a Muscle or Classic car in need of repair or restoration, I would highly recommend Lav's.
