Upon arrival Oscar performed a thorough inspection of the truck's condition pointing out the need to replace new structural steel under the failing sideboards. His quoted price along with time needed to complete was a pleasant surprise. When I picked up the vehicle I was amazed at how well the paint and new welded steel matched. This Avalanche of 22 years looked brand new! They pulled the valve cover and noticed my rocker arm was off. They said they did not want to fix it. They charged me 280 dollars to take off the valve cover and put it back on. Would take Maybe a half hour!! I paid the bill. I went in to get my AC recharged and they quoted me 500 dollars!! They said they really don't want to work on older cars. I guess if they thought I was stupid enough to pay this, they would. I said that's Crazy for an AC recharge! I left and took my car to another shop and was charged 120 dollars!! I asked for a printed copy of the estimate and billing for the estimate. I received a receipt for 105.93 but not the entire estimate. When I came home I tried to view the estimate on my text message and it would not let me view it. So I paid for an estimate that I cannot even look at.... !!!
