We have had the pleasure of using Jose's Tree Service 4 or 5 times over the past 20 years. Every time they provide a fast response to any call. The last time I called them we had a tree fall through our fence and into a neighbors yard. Jose came out within two hours and he had a crew remove the tree about two hours after that! Not just same day, but same afternoon service. His crew is always is professional and polite, and they sure work hard. They clean up afterwards and take great care of our yard and plants when falling trees and limbs. They also work safely and carefully trim trees that need a healthy haircut. I first started using them after getting three estimates from different tree trimmers. Their price was the best and Jose provided a detailed estimate. I've used other tree services over the years and always found that they quote you one price, then add for "extra work" that they "found" while trimming. Jose's crew has never done this. Jose and his entire crew were absolutely teriffic! We dealt with Jose and his office prior to deciding which company to go with and found them on time, easy to deal with, professional appearing and insured/bonded. The cost quoted was very competitive and had no extras or surprises when completed. Jose and his crew of five arrived on time as promised and were all obviously very experienced and competent in cutting down four of our very tall oak trees, all done safely for the workers and to our property. Can't say enough about these guys, all around perfect experience. Jose met me at my place in el dorado and gave me a very fair estimate on a very difficult tree that was covering my house, a deck, lots of expensive ornamental trees etc... they were on time, professional, polite, courteous, and thorough. wood was cut to size as requested, shuttled and stacked in the barn a good 75 yards away, and the brush was cleared completely. if the tree wasn't gone, you wouldn't be able to tell they were even here. it really was that clean... after working with many tree services over the decades between myself, my brother and father, there are none better than jose and his crew, hands down the best. highly recommend.... read more

Not sure about anyone else needing tree services in the area but I had a difficult time getting companies to call me back to even schedule an estimate. Jose was my 4th call and I could not have asked for a better experience. These guys are the best you'll get! I needed two 60+ ft Italian Cypress trees that were in a tight spot removed (stumps and all). The crew was punctual, friendly and you could tell they like what they do. My kids had a great time watching them methodically take these trees down with ease. On top of it all, they are honest, professional, and affordable. The most pleasant, hardworking service out there. Jose and his crew cut down 3 Oak trees, cut half of another, cleaned up my huge oak in front of my house and 3 others on the other side of my house. Jose arrived with his crew. Cut down an annoying poplar tree in an awkward spot. They are polite, efficient, affordable and reliable. They attached to another tree in our yard to remove the poplar. Impressive to watch. They are skilled craftsman at removing even the most challenging tree. Our tree was on a hilly slope right next to our backyard porch. They made the job look simple while getting the job done! We will definitely use them again. The bonus. I hired Jose to remove two trees and grind the stumps. He did a great job, was respectful of our yard, and his crew cleaned up after themselves. He wasn't the least expensive, but very reasonably priced nonetheless. Sadly, I had to have him remove another tree. It was too far gone to save.
