The wife and I recently bought a mid-century house in central Austin. After reading a boatload of reviews, we went with Josh. I have to admit, I wanted to go with Ron Jon the Apartment Mon (http://ronjontheapartmentmon.com), but said wife reminded me that we were looking for a house, not an apartment. There's a spectacular lack of House Mons in Austin, unless you count Josh (as I now do). Josh didn't pressure us once, not even after we drug him to 20 or so different houses on weekdays, weekends, holidays, etc. He graciously stuck with us until we found exactly the right house. He actually stuck with us longer than that, since he had to make sure we bought it. Even then, he kept checking on us to make sure we found the contractors we needed to fix a few things here and there. So yeah, I'm more adept at reviewing restaurants. If this guy was a sushi buffet, he wouldn't make you sick. If he was a taco truck, the e coli would barely register at detectable levels. If he was a Golden Corral... actually, I don't think he would be a Golden Corral. If you're looking for the realtor equivalent of a Golden Corral, look elsewhere. For everyone else, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this guy. read more

Josh is absolutely amazing! He is incredibly knowledgable and so so helpful. He went way out of his way to make sure we were taken care of while he was away on a cruise for vacation (which included regular contact with us to answer questions etc). I'm not sure about you, but if I were in the Caribbean the LAST thing I would be concerned about would be work. He really enjoys his job and clients! He made us feel important and valued, even though our budget wasn't much, and he has great ideas/info when going through a house. His eye for noticing small stuff is impeccable. I worked with Josh and his partner Amy both to sell my house and buy a new one. Gotta say, that was the best decision I ever made. I had a friend trying to sell their house at the same time, and after all the problems they had with their realtor ended up having to fire them and find a new one. I on the other hand, had no idea that this process could be so difficult! Josh and Amy made everything so easy!! These guys went above and beyond in every way. I was working 60-70/hr weeks while I was trying to sell my house, and I had no idea how I was going to get everything done. There was an endless list of tasks to get everything ready, people to coordinate and stuff to do. They helped me coordinate everything: setting up appointments, meeting with all the landscapers, painters, carpeters, handymen, staging, telling them what needed to be done and making sure we didn't miss any details. All I had to do was sign the checks. The house showed beautifully and I had 6 offers in 2 days and sold the house for 15k over list, and 45k more than I was expecting. It couldn't have been a better experience. Josh and Amy were such a pleasure to work with, they're knowledgeable, professional, and they care. The whole time, I just felt like I was in good hands. They were always responsive and I felt like I was their only client, even though I know they were busy. They work really well together and just love what they do. They are polite, professional, extremely responsive and very attentive. We needed to sell our house in Round Rock and were having an awful time deciding exactly what part of town we wanted to move to. Our main concerns were cost and schools and we were in a time crunch as we were hoping to get our kids into their new schools on time. This process was proving to be very frustrating for my wife and I until we hired Josh and Amy. What a great decision that turned out to be. . They made the entire process feel smooth and easy. Josh did a phenomenal job walking us through the sale of our N. Austin house in spring 2013 and building a new one in summer-fall 2013. He had a sharp grasp of market dynamics and did not BS us into unnecessary improvements for the sale. He was very strategic about where to put money and effort and it paid off... for instance, he had a professional photographer come in and the pictures were amazing. I've seen so many home listings, even high-end ones, with crappy phone pictures that make houses look dark and uninviting. This was exactly the opposite; our house looked its absolute best. I was in the market to purchase my first house and was searching for a Real Estate Agent. After looking over countless reviews on the Internet I decided to go with Josh based on the overwhelming positive feedback he had. I emailed Josh in the evening asking about his availability and within 20 mins he responded and we set up a meeting. Josh listened to what I was looking for and offered very useful advice and answered my questions in easy to understand terms. Josh has been a real estate agent for many years and he has a lot of experience which proved invaluable. He was never too pushy about buying a house fast or tried to steer me into any direction. We ended up looking at 10 to 15 houses and made 3 different offers before I finally settled on the home I purchased. Throughout the whole experience Josh answered all my questions very thoroughly and quickly. The home I purchased was not very expensive so I know I wasn't one of his more high end clients but I never felt I was treated as anything other than his most valued client.
