About a week later the same guy showed up again and took another look around, promised a quote, and disappeared again. By this time I had become frustrated and called Dan. He showed up the next day and fixed the leak in my roof for $20. He went above and beyond and filled some hairline cracks in my chimney, too. About ten days later I finally received $475 the quote from the other guys in the mail. There was also another rainstorm and my roof was weathertight. No leaks in my roof or my chimney. The entire parking lot away from the door and handicapped and few other fronts spots was open. He may do good work but at what cost.
