The best. I eat there once a week. Reminds me of growing up in Sylva. A local favorite.

It is located in downtown Asheville so there is no immediate parking lot but there are some places nearby or street parking, The inside is very modern and there is seating both inside and outside. Our server was very friendly and service was very prompt! My family got the Lo Mein with Chicken, Chow Fun with Beef, Sautéed String Bean, Buddha Bean Curd Rolls, Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, and Spicy Chicken. I loved the Crystal Shrimp Dumplings! The wrapper was very tender and the shrimp filling was delicious. It tasted very authentic to me. I also loved the Sautéed String Bean as it had the right amount of garlicky sauce. The Lo Mein was made with thinner than usual noodles but still tasted good. I think the Chow Fun tasted a bit off. It kind of tasted a bit sweet and like drunken noodles at some points as opposed to the traditional smoky flavor that the dish has. The rice noodles that were used were also thin as opposed to the usual wider noodles. As for the Spicy Chicken, it tasted solid. I liked the slight crisp before biting into each piece and it was not really spicy. I definitely tasted the cumin (I am not a super big fan of), which is a popular flavor found in Szechuan cuisine. Overall, I think this is a nice spot for some Chinese food, especially being near the mountains which is more isolated. I would probably rate it a 3.75/5 stars if I could. I wish chicken feet were part of their dim sum menu (it is pretty small and there are no rolling carts in case anyone is wondering). I do think some flavors of the food I tasted seem to cater a bit more to the Western taste palate (my parents agree as well), but I enjoyed my time here.

We decided to try this restaurant on a mid Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was about half full…read moreof customers, and the sanitation rating was a 94.5%. We were allowed to sit anywhere, and we didn't wait long for a server. Wanting to try several dishes, we chose the pad thai, the ginger pepper beef, and the red curry with chicken. We also ordered some alcohol, my wife wanting to try a particular wine. A sample was brought, but it wasn't very good, it tasted as if the bottle was old, as if it had been opened multiple days ago. We commented on this to ourselves. My wife ordered a full glass of a different wine. Our server brought the entire bottle of that wine over to open it and pour it, in what I would describe as a purposeful but unnecessary gesture of showing that it was a fresh bottle. My wife made a comment about the type of corkscrew she tended to prefer while the server was pulling the cork, and the server's response came across as unnecessarily abrasive. Our food came out fast, and the portions were good sized. The pad thai was tasty, well made. The red curry was not very good, it had a very unusual vegetable blend and the sauce was very watery. The ginger pepper steak and its vegetables had a decent flavor but several of the meat pieces seemed to be partially made of what I can only describe as gooey gelatin, independent of the sauce the dish was cooked in. Very off-putting. All three dishes were decently warm when they hit the table but not piping hot, and as a result they were lukewarm or cold fairly quickly. Later on I observed our server helping another server clear a table and our server made a definitive and unmistakable head gesture towards our table. Overall she seemed very tense, only checking on us occasionally. Her lack of care was emphasized when she checked by our table and we told her we were done with a half-eaten red curry and she did not question whether there was anything wrong. Overall a negative experience, and we will not be returning.

We had a lovely talk about food and how wonderful the food was. The food is authentic and spice can be adjusted. It was my bf first time having Pho and he would definitely be ordering it again. He ordered chicken pho and the broth was clean and flavorful. Had plenty of noodles and chicken in it. Came with bean sprouts, cilantro and jalapeno. Siracha and Hoisin sauce on side. Next we had the pork shumai. Boy was this delicious. Came with 5pcs and a delicious plum sauce. I definitely will order this again. Last I ordered the Sesame chicken. I would easily say the star of the show. The breading on the chicken was light and crispy with a perfect thick glaze sauce. The side of jasmine rice made it a great hearty meal. All in all it was a great meal and if you haven't tried it please support this local business.

This place was a fusion of Asian foods so I'm usually a bit reluctant to order anything too crazy so we stuck with what we knew. Spring rolls were fresh and tasty. Haven't had it with bell peppers before but it was good with the sauces. Green curry had good flavor but a touch loose for how I usually like it. Ginger salad came really overdressed so we didn't eat too much of that but we really liked the cucumbers. Whatever that sauce it was tossed in was very pleasant. We also enjoyed the stir fried eggplant dish with shrimp. It had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. Lastly I ordered the pad see ew, noodles cooked really well and all the textures were there. I could taste the char from the wok but it did lack that "sweet soy" flavor I'm looking for in this dish. I would say overall we enjoyed most of the dishes and some just needed a bit more flavor but it was still a good experience.
