The other was last week when she hired him to remove a dead ash that was threatening our home. Both times he did the job properly but was rude in the process. On this occasion, we spoke with him by phone about his plans to go all the way across our property and onto our driveway in order to remove the debris. He reluctantly agreed to take the shorter route on our neighbor's property, but when he arrived he started to set up in front of our house. It took several attempts and the threat to deny permission to access our property before he finally became civil and did as we asked. The tree which was very tall and difficult to remove came down with only a little damage to our oak, but Josh never acknowledged or apologized for his rude behavior. The bottom line is that if you want a skilled tree service with seasaoned workers, and you don't mind being treated badly, Josh is your man.

The owner was the lead worker, up on the lift himself, and he did a few extra things while up on the roof we did not even ask him to do. Most importantly, getting the old liner out became a real problem, and they worked slowly and carefully so as not to damage our old chimney and got it out after spending much longer than they had planned. They were also very careful when taking the crown apart to not drop anything on our back deck. The guys were all pleasant, had good senses of humor, and let us know what they were doing when asked. But once the work is finished, his attitude completely changes and he becomes very rude. He did not properly remove the dirt, just piled up stones, and you can still see the fabric underneath. The quality of work was terrible. This was one of the worst experiences we've had with a contractor. The person we dealt with was Ben, and based on our experience, I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone. Please be careful before hiring them.
