I am writing in regards a negative experience which I should have never been a part of. This place…read moreis a true God send for the neighborhood seniors who enjoy a moment away from the norm of their limited lifestyle. However, this review is about miscommunication and what some will do to disregard their so-called professional position. I believe a facility which caters to the senior citizen's of Ontario should provide a sense of clarity when revealing what is required of it's constituents for the purpose of running a system for the greater good. It is with a solemn heart that I write without creating confusion to the already senior citizen who is only trying to partake and acclimate to a comforting environment. This is directed exclusively to management, who obviously have a difficult time managing a facility with such exclusive clientele. I believe it is a valuable concern for a facility who serves an important group of people who are already dealing with society's oversight of their existence. Everyone on this planet will in fact partake in the process of growing old, if their lifestyle is not impeded by their own ineptness through shallow decisions. The staff of this facility should all be one on the same page when providing a service to the elderly. If there is to be expectations by the facility geared towards the elderly, by all means they should be posted for all concerned, otherwise you are creating a problem as oppose to avoiding one. Life's ambiguities do not suffice one in the stage of quiescence. In closing, staff management is holding an important position of affluence which influence those beneath your current status; have the foresight to speak with a sense of provisional knowledge for those who may look up to your leadership. I'm writing this regarding rental of their event hall facility rather than services for seniors…read more All in all, this is a nice facility for events of up to 150 persons. We did a 1950's-themed, surprise birthday party here. We were able to have a DJ set up for several hours of music. Very nice, one of the most cost-effective options we could find. My only criticism is that while they do offer kitchen facilities and they do provide ice, they don't provide a refrigerator. You have to rely on ice chests only. I understand why they don't let you use their refrigerators, but why not provide at least a small one especially for those renting the hall? (One day's rental fees could pay for one). Not a place for wild parties, It's city-owned so alcohol is not allowed. In our case, that wasn't a problem. You are responsible for the conduct of your guests and for leaving the place clean and in order. Overall this was the nicest, most cost-effective place we were able to find in the area for our party. I would recommend it.

Coworker's Paradise in North Pomona! (sorry if it sounds like I'm writing a Zillow listing, but I'm…read morejust trying to get this to show up in search results if anyone else is curious LOL) OUTLETS: Plenty of outlets!!! There's a set of steps with pillows on each step with a block of about six outlets beside them, and a really comfy, sinky couch (plus an ottoman and two comfy looking armchairs and a big table in the middle) with a set of two outlets on the wall and a star shaped power strip sticking out of the ground with six outlets coming out of it. There are also regular tables and it seems like there are outlets beside them as well. WIFI: The wifi is open (no password necessary), even though they have a password listed where you pick up your food (it's just Sanctuary Coffee). I tried to use one of the locked ones (the only one that made sense), but the wifi password didn't work, so I'm not sure why they have one listed. Regardless, albeit not the fastest wifi I've ever used, it's incredibly doable. I have been working remote here for 1.5 hrs and had almost no issues. MENU: For LA, relatively cheap. I am not a coffee or tea drinker, so I got the peach Italian soda, which was yummy. I believe it was about $4.89, which is not bad at all. I went to And Destroy in the Highland Park-ish area, and I believe an Italian soda with cream (cream is free here) was maybe $7-8. I'm used to paying more for drinks because the specialty (non coffee and tea) drinks are usually pricey, but this was one of the cheapest things on the menu. Also, you can claim a free pastry with your email and first name on their website (it sends you a voucher, just show the email). I got the banana bread, which was fine. I would've gotten zucchini, but it wasn't chocolate chip zucchini. ATMOSPHERE: Not too loud, the music is nice and chill and not very loud. There's cute art on the walls and homey looking lamps. It's the quintessential living room coffee shop, perhaps even rivaling Republik Coffee in Burbank in comfiness, noise level, aesthetic, and price (which is a bummer, because I likely will never be back - we just happened to be in North Pomona today, and I have no idea when we'd ever elect to drive this far again LOL). PARKING: It's in a little strip mall, so there's an actual aboveground lot with plenty of free parking (at least I think it's free, I got dropped off so I didn't pay much attention). Overall, I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking to cowork in a cozy atmosphere for relatively cheap in the North Pomona area. It checks all of my boxes except distance from home. I hope this review helps someone, because I always try to find this information on Yelp about new places to visit and it can be very difficult to find! BATHROOM: I believe there are two single person bathrooms like not stalls just one bathroom. Cute art and aesthetic inside, there are hooks on the walls for your stuff. The air dryer was not very strong and there were no paper towels or seat covers, but other than that there was a nice faucet and cute nice soap like homey soap you'd see in someone's house, and the lock worked fine.

Very relaxing atmosphere (at least when I visited). Customer…read moreservice was great! Coffee and desserts were very tasteful. I will definately be back to sample other desserts.
