Steven, the person who helped us said," If it is more to be done, I will notify before they do the work" I said ok. We stayed for an hour, and I had a great discussion with the owner about jazz guitarist Ted Greene. That was the highlight of the store, and I do encourage people to go and learn the history of the store. I got an email the following day saying my son's guitar was ready and the charge was about 70$!!!! To change strings! I emailed back and said you told me 45. Steven said the tech Clean the guitar, oiled the tuning gears. We didn't ask for that, nor did it need it. He never checked with me about the work that needed to be done. It looked like a way to mark up the service. Beware! I called the store and talked with Steven and said you quoted me 45$ He said, "I am not going to argue with you over the money, and we will give you what was quoted." This wasn't about arguing, this was about integrity. Go to the store for nostalgia and some Martin's but be careful for the services and price adjustments.

Jeffrey is a sweet guy who takes the time to learn how to best teach each student individually -- I've seen it time and again with my girls. He keeps things fresh by encouraging them to pick songs they actually like rather than only focusing on songs from their respective technique books and he puts no undue pressure on the kids to move forward: their own pace generally works just fine. I've recommended him to several friends -- whose kids are now students -- and I'll continue to do so in the future. We're lucky he lives so close to us.

Over 300 bucks and management stated "I assumed that you knew." For one communicate, number two don't assume it's not fair be clear, you're the administrator!, number three she said your last session was your final session, so what does she say to my kid? She claimed to care about passion for her students and families. I don't think so. Don't let her catch you slipping and search out other schools with better administrators. She's kind of raw.

You can tell she has a heart for teaching and a passion for music, and it comes out in every class and in all aspects of the class, even down to the smallest of details. She is so patient and kind with all the kiddos. There is always a wide variety of activities each class so that the kids' attention never starts to wander out of boredom. Participants also receive extra materials to take home so that our little ones can continue playing and practicing throughout the week. We are very much looking forward to continuing our classes here. We can't recommend it enough. Parking is street parking, but it's usually not too difficult finding a space nearby. The class sizes are always manageable - never empty, but never too crowded that you feel like your child won't get proper instruction.

We just had a class and it was so great. My 16-month old who has the attention span of a fly was really engaged (for the most part)!
