My behind woke up today and decided to book same day, last minute catering for a party of 7. And Rell came through for me! So today marked my son's birthday and in a covid time, we were trying to figure out a safe way to celebrate him. At about 8am I had the idea of bringing the restaurant experience home and contacted Rell. She wrote back quickly and got to work on my request. What we ordered: Deviled eggs Mashed potatoes Mac n cheese Chicken fajitas Shrimp and grits Broccoli and cheese Cookies I only wish that I took more photos. We were so hungry that within minutes there were spoonfuls missing from every container before I could take photos! .... savages Taste: I don't think I've ever ate that many deviled eggs in one sitting in my life. Literally everything was good, but those and the shrimp and grits were my favorite. I also loved that she didn't over-salt anything. My mother is queen of "this is too salty" and she had no complaints! Service: She is so sweet. She responded to all of my messages quickly, she approved a last minute order and her drop off was punctual and efficient. Noteworthy!! Everyone had multiple plates! Her serving sizes and pricing is phenomenal. I honestly have enough for lunch/dinner tomorrow so you are getting your money worth! P.S. She arrived masked up which was a huge plus!!

Dominic's NY Pizza - 1000-degree brick pizza oven inside the food truck. Pizzas are made and baked fresh! Very cool.

Wow. The pizza I had from Dominic's NY Pizza was, without a doubt, the best pizza I've had to date…read morefrom any sort of food truck or food stand. In fact, the pizza from this truck (technically, it's a trailer pulled by a pick-up truck) stands among the best pizzas I've had anywhere, brick and mortar restaurants included. The trailer has a legit 1000 °F, wood-burning, all-brick oven inside which the staff uses to bake pizzas fresh. Dominic's was one of a few food trucks we had come to our company's summer party this year. Out of all the food trucks that came, this one was my favorite. The special menu for our event consisted of personal-sized 9-inch pizzas. The types available were cheese, pepperoni, sausage and red onion, veggie (spinach and mushroom), and a white pizza made with fresh mozzarella, ricotta, shredded mozzarella, garlic and oil, and Parmesan. Yum. I asked Dominic's son, who was working the truck at the event, how much the personal pizzas regularly cost and he said $9 each. The truck also normally sells garlic knots, calzones, strombolis, other pizza varieties (e.g. Neapolitan), and desserts like cannoli and NY cheesecake. I ordered a pepperoni pizza was it prepared by Dominic's son. He made it to order fast. I watched as he put the toppings on and inserted the pizza into the oven. The oven is lined up with the order/pick-up window, so you have a front row seat to watching your pizza bake. My pizza came out perfectly and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was thin with a soft and chewy middle and crisp, smoky, black, charred edges. The dough had great appetizing consistency and there was a noticeable garlicky flavor which was terrific. The cheese and pepperoni were tasty and addictive. I never expected pizza from a food truck to taste this good. The staff was nice and speedy. They do have that brusque NY Italian manner. I look forward to trying Dominic's again. I'll probably get the white pizza next time.

Yesterday we tried Dominic's Pizza at the Fall Ponce Festival and I am glad that we did. I have…read moreeaten pizza at probably close to a hundred places and can honestly say this is by far some of the best that I have ever eaten. Dominic's Neapolitan that is made with all fresh mozzarella, garlic, fresh basil and tomatoes is much better than the Neapolitan at Antico Pizza by GA Tech, which is also brick fired. The pizza here is not cheap, expect to pay almost $10 per personal pie, but with the good quality and excellent taste, it's worth it. I really loved the crust here, it tasted like it had some Parmigiano-Reggiano cooked into the crust. I will definitely eat here more often when I see their truck around. Another good thing about Dominic's NY Pizza is this fella is actually from New York kid, he is not just some chump who sell's pizza and call's it NY Pizza to get more business, he knows his pizza. After a 45…read moreminute drive, the 3 of us entered Nana's and got on their wait list on a Saturday morning at 10:51a. We were told approximately 20 minute wait. Received text our table was ready at 11:23a. After waiting 10 - 15 minutes for a waitress, we were served water and our order was taken. We all ordered waffles & chicken, and two coffees. Shortly after this, a party of 3 was seated next to us. No coffee yet. Finally, our food was served about 12:20p. Still no coffee. A few minutes later, our coffee was served - in paper cups with plastic lids. After about 15 minutes of waiting, the party of 3 was informed that Nana's had ran out of chicken. The party of 3 promptly got up and left. 4 new people were then seated at this table. After waiting a few minutes. The waitress came and told them they were out of chicken. They all ordered something other then chicken. Don't get me wrong - Nana's food is still delicious as it was when they were located in Conyers. But their service is really slow & disappointing. They obviously don't have enough help, or servers to accommodate their dining room, which seems to be only a little bigger than the one they had in Conyers. I love good food, and Nana's has it! My pet peeve is good service... and Nana's is severely lacking in this. Unlikely that we will return. Disappointed! *Note - I previously reviewed Nana's in Conyers in 2017, my first visit there. I rated them 5 stars back then.

So I'm all about New Orleans food so I had to give it a shot. Cafe Bourbon Street is a food truck…read moreso it's not a standard brick and mortar (at this location) so just keep that in mind. If you are going to try to go, make sure you download the app so that you can order your food and get it in a timely fashion. They run it as first come first serve so it gives you a better chance to get in and out as soon as possible. Service was good, I don't have any complaints. You're waiting around but everybody's nice and friendly who's taking your order. I ordered the food while I was on the freeway and by the time I got there it was just getting done and bagged so that worked out really well. Again, I would 101% suggest you download the app instead of getting it and waiting around. When I was there to work a lot of people there but I know that there could be quite a bit of people there giving the fact that I read some reviews on it. So you want to go ahead and make sure you do your due diligence. I went with the Cajun fried shrimp and the jambalaya egg roll. The Cajun fried shrimp was good, it could have used more seasoning but I understand that you want to make sure that you don't inundate somebody with seasonings because they may not like it and once you put it on you can't take it off. But if you're coming for New Orleans food, I want to hear and feel and taste that spice! But the shrimp was good. I actually did dip it in some cocktail sauce when I got home, just to help it alone but I would get it again though honestly. I don't really do beignets but I had to try it just because why not lol. If you like them, you will be satisfied I assume. They come with maybe three of them or so, Dusted and all the powdered sugar that looks like snowfall lol. They also have shrimp that is sauced in a sweet and spicy sauce kind of situation and now it's actually really good as well. These sauced up shrimp came dripping with sauce and had green onion garnished on them as well. Really good. I didn't need anything extra for them, like the casa sauce I use for the regular fried shrimp. Solid attempt! Next time I would probably consider getting that instead of the regular but I want to see what the regular tasted like first and foremost before I bitch it off into sauces! Now I've saved this for the last part of review, the jambalaya egg roll. This joint was a hit! It came in too long egg rolls couldn't have and it was drizzled in some beautiful spicy sauce. That situation right there was a winner! That could have been the meal and I would have been happy lol. Well I would have wanted more but you get the point lol! You can make out large rings of sausage, rice, everything you would find in jambalaya. That joint was bussin with flavor, that I didn't know I needed until that moment in time. When I go back, most likely so. The guy who was at the front of the truck was super nice and super friendly and very inviting. I would definitely like to go back for more. Now just as a precaution, it is a food truck so unless you eat it there some of the things may not hold up in the car ride home depending on how long it takes. For example the French fries were nothing special and I think that they suffered because of all the steam made them soggy. Now I will say there are people out in the parking lot in in the area of the food truck who didn't even wait to get home, they just start smashing the food in the car and at the seat they were sitting at. I understand why because it's going to be hot and fresh right off the gate! Either way, just want to let you know that consideration because fried food doesn't always hold up when it's putting a steam box so keep that in mind. But either way it goes, this was a win.
