Let me first say I love Talbots. I have been a customer for many years. Today I was treated…read moreunkindly by a cashier named Cathy. She ignored me, which I don't mind when I first enter a shop. Gives me a chance to browse for awhile. I selected 3 items. When I finished selecting the third item and was heading to the counter she suddenly called out from 1/2 way across the store, "Do you need help?" I said, "No thank you, then sensing something was off, I turned back to the stack of teeshirts I'd just picked a shirt from. I then said, Didn't I do it neatly enough? I can try to make it straighter". She said, "No, I'm going to have to refold the entire pile!" (It was slightly askew not a mess as she indicated.) I'm on the short side so I was on my tiptoes trying to leave it in good shape. I mentioned to her as I was checking out, "You don't seem like you feel well", she was sniffing from time to time. She said it was just a residual effect. As I left the store, I said a bit sarcastically , "I'm sorry I made your work so hard by you having to fold all those shirts over again, This all has made me feel so welcome!. PS: I was the only customer in the store. I think She needs some retraining to learn good customer service.

This store is like a Rainbow store etc, However its catered towards more causal clothing(in my…read moreopinion)...Ok so this store is a ok size they have clothing, accessories, and other things. I like shopping here for work cloths! I'm a kindergarten Teacher and Do Not want to spend a lot of money on "work clothing" that will only get marker, paint, and glue on them! The cloths and accessories are Trendy and they have some nice pieces! Most of the people working in the store are really nice, but the manager is NOT! Its a lot of locations in the DC/MD area so I would say go to another store to shop! I do like the fact that Dots have a lot of coupons that you can print out online (save that $$ girls) and they also have these stamps that you get every time you shop with them. However, at this location they may not honor so again Go elsewhere! They do have a plus size selection that is ok. Overall I give 2 stars for clothing and selection. Had it been another store I wouldve gave more. But I must rate on my experiences at THIS location and it was on more than one time shopping here! I like Dots in general but this store, not so Much!

I came in to do an exchange tonight and i was greeted warmly by the young lady who took my bag with…read moremy exchange to the front. i found a few items and was ready to start the exchange. I purchased my items from a different store so i already knew i wasnt going to receive any money back because i asked that question when i purchased from the pg plaza location. so when the other young lady started the exchange, she tells me "you need to find something else for $4.01 because you cant get your money back" i already knew that but the tone of her voice set me in a different direction from the enjoyable moment i was having. i saw the fur ball keychains and was going to purchase 2, however, they didnt have any tags on them. i brought this to her attention and figured, since the similar ones that had tags were all $2.99, she could just ring those for 2.99 as well. she tells me "these dont have tags so i cant sell them to you" well if that is the case, the entire display shouldve been taken down and redone, considering that more than half did not have tags. at this point, i tell her to just hand me back the original item and we can end the exchange. i will travel back to the location in pg plaza (where i received GREAT customer service) and just get my money back with no exchange. if i have to travel to that location every time to shop at Rainbow, i will.

So Ive been informed that the female Manager at this location has been here for maybe 30 plus…read moreyears! You would think with this much experience she would know the many different forms in which people can make payments. Apparently having a debit card is not enough to purchase an item at this store. The manager even asked me why I am using debit instead of credit (are you serious)? As a Manager you cannot dictate to a paying customer how they should spend their money. And If you have a Temporary debit card w/ ID forget about purchasing from this store because they don't accept it! "For Liability Reasons," Maybe they can invest in a sign that states this policy near the cash register. Just a suggestion ;-) and while there doing that they can go ahead and inform this to the various banks, nation wide that issue these Temporary debit cards because apparently they are not accepted at stores! My sole purpose of getting anything form this store is for medical uniforms/ accessories! This purchase was for school. If it was not an urgent and necessary purchase I would have gladly taken my money to another Gallo Location!

I purchased two shirts, a tie, and a suit for very little- it was a huge bang for the buck! Staff worked together, as hard as they could, to bring the price down for me. This is a great little shop in Lee Heights that offers high quality (though not outrageously…read morepriced) Women's fashion and accessories as well as adorable high end baby and toddler clothing. They also offer a great selection of unique gifts and other special items that you can't find at the countless big box stores that have taken over almost everywhere else here now. It's like visiting...Etsy...in person. If such a store existed of course. Obviously only a very very small, and very highly curated BIT of Etsy, but still...it's etsy-esque. In a good way. Well worth a visit. Especially for those "extra hard to shop for" and "already have everything" types. They're also great for the many miscellaneous gift needs that pop up throughout the year for coworkers and teachers and other people you might not know very well and whose gift options fall uncomfortably in between even the classiest target dollar bin options your best friends might love, and the fancier more expensive fare reserved for one's own children, close relatives, spouses... The "I don't really know what, but ideally something special and memorable and cool" gifts for all sorts of things like secret Santas, teacher appreciation, miscellaneous baby/bridal showers, office party exchanges, attempts to gain favor or acceptance from cringey or critical or perfectly lovely mother in laws...etc. This place is perfect for all of those and more. I've found awesome Christmas presents for my mother here two years in a row now, and many fun things for myself as well. Best boutique baby clothes section I've seen in the Arlington area, actually.
