Montiono was very punctual, friendly, professional, and even showed up 10mins early to set up(I like that because it didn't cut into my massage time). He had excellent pressure and technique. I called to set up an appointment and scheduled for 2:30 to get a deep tissue massage. The massage lady called me back later to push it to 3:00. Most massage places have paperwork you need to fill out when it's your first time at their shop, so I made sure to get there a little early. This place is VERY easy to miss. When I finally found parking I was able to walk in the general area and find the location. If you're expecting something like a spa, or a fancy massage chain place, think again. I walked inside to a small, cluttered, room. There is a desk up front, but nobody was sitting there. Shortly after, a door opened and a lady walked out. She said she was running about 30 minutes late. She also kept trying to pressure me to eat some Asian candies that I kept politely declining. I waited... And I ended up getting the weirdest most awkward massage of my life. You can hear everything that's going inside... While I was getting massaged, I could hear a lady using the bathroom. Not something you want to hear when you're supposed to be relaxing. The massage lady also stopped several times during the massage, opened the door, and started speaking to somebody in her native Asian language. She also would randomly mumble to herself. That's not even the uncomfortable part. I've had many massages, and every place keeps you somewhat covered. You usually take off your bra and leave your undies on. I've never felt more exposed during a massage in my life. She ended up pulling my underwear half way down, leaving my bare booty mostly exposed. She then went back to working on my upper back while leaving me exposed! No sheet on me or anything! At one point she actually got on the massage table and "mounted" me. I felt like Seabiscuit! The lady on the phone was very nice and helpful and was able to book me on the same day within the hour!! With it being in the Town of Vienna i was kind of expecting it to be hard to find parking but it was actually very easy. When i walked in I was greeted by a very nice woman who took me straight into the treatment room. I was cool with not having to fill out paperwork as that usual takes me forever lol but my therapist did ask me the type of massage I wanted, the pressure, and if i had any medical conditions she should know about. Since it was raining and cold today she had turned on the heating pads on the table, added an extra blanket and turned on a heater to make sure i was comfortable. I literaly get a massage once a week and I was impressed by her professionalism when dealing with the sheet and extra blanket she had placed on me. Because of my chronic low back pain I loved the fact that she work on my gluts, most place won't work on them even if you remove all your clothes. I was so relaxed and into my massage that i didn't hear any other noises going on outside and i almost missed when my therapist would ask me how the massage was and how was the pressure lol. During the massage she did kneel on the side of the table to do more pressure but she never "mounted" me to make me feel like a 1000+ lb animal, granted I'm no thin person but I'm not THAT big. To end the massage she cleaned off any extra lotion off with a hot towel (which felt freakin awesome by the way). The only reason why is experience: she's comfortable working on such deep and internal muscles because she's done it for so long. But there is another reason why she is completely awesome. She does not charge by the hour, she charges by the massage. Each time you go she will work on you until she's finished. She doesn't work on the clock, and feels no pressure to just gloss over something because your time is coming to an end. She will wring you until you are completely dry, no matter what it takes. It's now been about six months of seeing her, and because of her skills I no longer need surgery to fix the pain that I used to experience in my hip (see my other medical reviews for the backstory). I've had several massages since the injury, but each of them left me feeling like I still had something going on with my muscles. Olga's place was clean, very nicely furnished and comfy. Olga asked me about what I was seeking treatment for (I liked that I did not get the feeling that I was at a spa, but seeing a massage therapist who realized that I was looking for symptom relief and was interested in helping me). She asked me what type of massage I preferred (deep tissue) and made sure that I understood that if it was too painful I should tell her so she could adjust the pressure because that is the only way she would know how best to treat me. Once the massage started she monitored my physical reactions, checking in with me to make sure the pressure was not too much. Olga massaged areas in ways that I had never experienced previously. It was one of the best deep tissue massages I've ever received (it was painful, yes, but that is exactly what I was looking for). I felt so much relief from the pain I had been in. And, like Adam H. said, my appointment was not "on the clock". She worked on me until she was done. This morning is the first time in over a year that I am able to lift my arm without being immediately reminded of my injury because of the nagging pain in my shoulder.
