I am still a huge fan of Deluca 3 years after my first review! I started seeing Karla in January of 2025 when Titus (who is incredible!) was a little bit less available -- and she is fabulous! She really takes the time to understand what her clients want/need and delivers above and beyond every time. I am truly enjoying every session with her. I usually get the Lymphatic Drainage Massage, but all of the massages I have tried at Deluca have been great. Also, side note, I truly truly truly would go with Titus or Karla if possible; I don't want to put any names since it's their profession, but one of the masseuses did body shame me in 2024 so I avoid that person now. read more

This is a great place to get a massage, especially if you're trying to book something same day. I found them online and called in the morning to make a reservation and was there later that afternoon (I tried calling 3 other places with no luck). The building is huge and they have several massage therapists working. The waiting area, restrooms, and massage rooms are all very clean and the staff are skilled professionals. Wow. So I'm not typically picky about the massage places I go to, but last week, I had a tension headache that lasted 7 days - Sunday to Sunday. I went to two docs, both prescribed a bunch of meds. Went to another masseuse, who just "moved things around," but then on Sunday, I truly wanted to get to the root of the problem and walked by Deluca on my way home. I talked to the front desk, who suggested seeing someone with myofascia (sp) and cranium sacral certification to help with my issue. I didn't book an appointment that minute, but a few hours later, came back to see Nora. O. M. G. Not only did she relieve the pressure and nerve tightness I could feel, but I physically felt the knot from the back of my neck move to my shoulder and broken up into little pieces and was INSTANTLY relieved of my headache. She told me to wait 2-3 days for everything to really settle and now we are at the 48+ hour mark and I'm happy to say she has helped solved my problem. I will be coming back to Nora more often now! We were doing a staycation weekend and this was super close to our hotel. I got a great massage by Lee. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep. I didn't even want to leave. Annie was amazing! I was sore and needed a last minute massage, so I went to Deluca. The massage I chose was Swedish with some pressure, plus a foot massage add-on. I had a transportation issue and ended up being ten minutes late, and while that was totally my fault and I was prepared to either cut the massage ten minutes short or forgo the foot massage, Annie added on as much time at the end as she could before her next client. That definitely wasn't a requirement, but I did really appreciate it. I'll definitely plan to see her again and would probably get the same service. The room was clean and the front desk staff was really nice. My only criticism is the website - in order to see who was free for which services at which times, I had to choose a person, even though I was new and didn't know any of the providers, and then click through to see the times. I think there is probably a more user-friendly way for them to do this. read more

The experience at Deluca was horrible. I scheduled an appointment for a couples massage that never happened. It was actually a Father's Day gift due to my husband due to him working so much. I specifically asked for 2 females for the Swedish massage. When we showed up the receptionist very condescendingly says, " Oh I'm sorry we have you down for no preference!" Which I knew was a lie because I specifically asked for 2 females. So she suggested we wait for 2 hours, which would be when they could accommodate us. Mind you, we didn't live nearby and we had other things scheduled for the day. I really believe they gave our appointment to someone else and just tried to shove us in another time slot! read more

I strongly recommend that you reconsider getting a massage at this faciltiy. There is very poor customer service by phone and at the front desk. My appointments were cancelled multiple times with same-day notice. When I sent a text to the customer phone number complaining about this, my appointments with Kimberly Schwind and Swani Brennan were indefnitely cancelled. Both therapists didn't like that I complained about last-minute cancelled appointments and took me off their schedules indefinitely. Incredibly poor customer service. read more

I called to reschedule because of a horrible storm in which I received a severe weather alert and flash flood warning alert and executive order (see attached) After being told no and that I would be fine, I tried to make it but couldn't see where I was going so called back and they said I would be charged the full amount despite me being worried for my safety and receiving an executive order to not travel unless I was fleeing my area. I told them I'd rather have a cancellation then get into a car accident like everyone else around me. And they charged me anyway. I was surprised given Deluca is known amongst my friend group for trying to create a welcoming and safe environment for clients. Needless to say, I (and my friends) will be going somewhere else for our massage needs. I get cancellation fees completely , but this seemed like a different situation given the executive warning to not leave ones current location. I booked a couples and cranio-sacral massage for the same day because my husband and I have been planning our vow renewal on the scale of a wedding and some enforced relaxation was in order. I called around noon, booked for 6:30 and I'm writing this review at 9:30p. We. feel. transformed. My dentist had recommended cranio-sacral massage to me ages ago to help with my night-time teeth grinding (notice a pattern yet?) and I hadn't followed up on it until now. I feel like there's absolutely no tension in my face and I could feel Jason work through my tight jaw muscles with patience and persistence. My husband was convinced that the petite masseuse wouldn't be able to move him around, incorrect. Best massage he's ever had and he commented specifically on the care and intention he could notice in the smaller details of tucking massage blanket around him and cueing him to breathe with a whiff of mint or ecalyptus. Parking is a pain in the butt, do take advice about leaving plenty of time. I'm sad to see the reviews about their harsh cancellation policy. I guess I'll have to keep that in mind because I have to go back. read more

It had been years since I had a massage. My neck, shoulders and upper back were so tight I couldn't get any relief. I booked a deep tissue massage at this place since I heard they were good. They seemed to offer a variety of different types of massage therapy, more than most places! The parking situation is street only and the metro was a long hike. To make it on time I took a ride share. Considering it was prime time for DC traffic I made decent time. The outside and inside is well kept. Inside especially has a modern vibe that's relaxing yet professional. I filled out a single page form with one lengthy side. I didn't think they would even look at it but that's the 1st thing the masseuse went over with me when I got there. Nice to know that they pay attention. She was extremely efficient with my problem areas and still kept enough time for the full body. I was not in pain or sore afterwards but felt loose and relaxed. They even utilize these most heat towels that are a game changer. Even though I live at the other end of DC, I'm thinking of becoming a regular. read more

I received a gift massage to Deluca. From the moment you arrive, you get a serene, calming and quite beautiful aesthetic. The staff was very gracious. Be prepared for stairs though, as the spa is in a three-story townhouse, and your treatment room could be, like mine, at the top floor. But it is so worth it. The rooms were each tasteful, with beautiful decor, music, and water sounds. My masseuse, Kimberly, was amazing. She took all of my requests, graciously, adjusting pressure as I needed it and focusing on the specific areas that I requested. I fell asleep midway, but woke up, and was surprised that we still had more time. I wish I would have had another hour. Can't wait to go back! read more

Jelena was so skilled and when I asked for medium firm it was absolute perfection. I don't live in DC otherwise I'd be coming back to this place to see Jelena regularly. I've had massages all over the world and this one was among the top, just so good! The interior is not super fancy but it's also not just like a strip mall foot massage place, either. I think the price is commensurate with amenities. The exterior was super cute. The receptionist was accommodating and welcoming, too. My only wish is that I booked much longer!
