Gyro Omelette with Home Fries and Rye Toast
    Tina S.

I enjoy dining at this little breakfast/lunch spot. I have only ever had breakfast here and it was delightful. The omelettes are a good size and I enjoy the home fries that accompany them. Food is made to order, fresh, filling, and tasty. The original owner sold the restaurant but she still works there and she is a sweetheart. The new owner is very nice as well. If you're looking for a solid breakfast place, this is your spot!

My local spot for brunch! Staff is amazing and the food is great. It's a local hot spot with fresh food and great peeps! A Venice staple for sure so come try it out!

Our family absolutely adores this restaurant. It's like having breakfast made with care and pride from the owners to all the staff. Our server was fantastic, funny, and on the ball. The veggie omelet and home fries were delicious as were the mushroom, ham and cheese omelets. Not to forget homemade biscuits. We gave everyone a hug and see you in January.

Absolutely unexpected fantasticness!!! Large menu with home cooked food. More omelets than you can crack an egg at. I had the ham mushroom and egg crepe - large wheat crepe filled to the brim with ham. Cooked perfectly, I couldn't be more stuffed myself. Service with a smile is one reason I'll be back!!

Another gem tucked away in a strip mall amidst the higher end Thai, Indian, and Steakhouse along 41...somewhere between Big Lots and Tidewell Thrift. The friendliest warm welcome you can imagine and lots of menu choices for breakfast or lunch - closes at 2:30. It seemed the server and owner knew their patrons and I observed friendly banter, immaculate service and attention. I knew walking in I wanted those delicious savory crepes, filled with mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese and served with homestyle potatoes. My third time I believe. Id probably go more often but Im rarely up and out of the house before their closing time. I made it with plenty of time to spare but in no way did I feel I'd be rushed. Check them out - I believe they'll be closing for a vacation soon so get going

We had lunch here today and ordered the trio of dips, a couple glasses of wine, gyro platter with Greek fries (nicely seasoned), Pastitsio and green beans, moussaka, and baklava. The Greek food was all very good, feta cheese used was on point, Greek potatoes and fries were one of my favorites don't change them, and the Pinot washed it all down with a smile. If I had to give some Critique I would say out of everything we had the thing that was slightly off was a touch too much cinnamon in the Pastitsio, but otherwise great food. The server was very friendly and polite. Food 8.5 Service 9.0 Ambiance 8.0

I had the greek fries with feta and spice and they are amazing. But, our favorite was the calamari. The breading is very light and with tzatziki sauce, it is delicious. We also sampled the greek meatballs and while very good and interesting flavor, not sure I would get again for $19. My family member had smelt, and they were good also, but I'm guessing not fresh and not sure that would be a future choice. The lemon rice soup is also very good, but this doesn't look color wise like avgolmomo soup most people are familiar. The greek salad here is greek traditional without lettuce and super delicious. I love the clean new look inside. It's pretty affordable for really good traditional food.

Before I share my review, I want to start off by saying that this is my family's and my opinion…read moreonly. I'll start with the positives. The food was good. We all basically got various versions of chicken souvlaki. I got the horiatiki salad with souvlaki chicken. It was very flavorful and I loved all the veggies and olives plus delicious feta. My SIL and husband had the two versions of the souvlaki platter which they enjoyed. The chicken was very tender. My SIL didn't really care for the fries. My husband didn't like the vegetables being on top of the Greek potatoes that weren't very good. The primary issue was the woman who waited on us. We were seated a few minutes after we arrived. Unfortunately, we were not given menus which was frustrating and instead of the woman owning it herself, she blamed it on the new guy. We ordered and it took a while to get our food and the restaurant wasn't that busy. The woman kept complaining about various things and I assume most people could hear. Not really the vibe you want when trying to enjoy a meal with family you don't get to see very often. It also took a while to get the check and to go boxes. Everyone has a bad day and the holidays are stressful times. I hope it was just a one off.

It's clean and cozy atmosphere. My friend and I were there a little before the lunch crowd so we had the place to ourselves. The server was cheerful and prompt. We ordered the chicken lemon rice soup, hummus and pita appetizer, chicken tawook, and I have the salmon in olive oil and lemon. The presentation was good but all the dishes were slightly on the bland side. I enjoyed the food and I like supporting mom and pop restaurants. I wish it was more flavorful but I'm glad I gave this restaurant a try. Perhaps I came on an off day but I hope the locals continue to keep this place going. There's limited parking in this small strip shopping area.

Total lucky find via Yelp as we were down the road and on our way home…read more Dined here in a Sunday night; parking lot packed and everything else closed. Warm and inviting dining rooms ( three). Big menu, and all our choices provided us with exceptional food: the three dip special ( we had hummus, eggplant and torokafteri) with yummy pita; the chicken lemon soup was excellent; my spanakopita was light, crispy and fantastic, as was the accompanying side of Greek salad which had a delicious dressing. My husband ordered the seafood platter, and everything was well prepared, tasty and also light. We ordered some wine, an imiglykos, which was sweet and good. The table next to us ordered beer salad, lamb shank, and gyro platters which all looked mouth watering. Djonisi was an excellent server, very personable. The customers at the next table told us they were present when the restaurant opened two years ago, and that they moved out of the area, but to give this restaurant our business. This is definitely going to be our go to Greek restaurant from now on, and it should be yours too. (Also, ladies room had two large and very clean stalls).
