TENNIS -- Courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis so it is recommend that you arrive early. The west court is designed for playing tennis and the east court is for volleyball or badminton. I would say that the courts are in good condition so I had fun playing tennis here. PARK -- The park is fairly large with benches around it. There is a baseball (or softball) field at the park. It is managed by the City of Lakewood and LEAF (Lakewood Earth and Food community). I will definitely come back to play tennis here this summer. There are a couple bathrooms, so you won't have to wait in line for that. There are at least five indoor volleyball courts, basketball courts, baseball batting cages, four sand volleyball courts, four bocce ball courts, weights, boxing ring, snack bar, and bar. There's lots to do here! The facility is a reclaimed factory turned volleyball mecca. They serve hot dogs, chicken tenders, nachos, sandwiches, pizza, and other items. But the sand volleyball court, bar, and ambience is the most interesting part of this place. We've been playing on the local volleyball circuit for over four years and have somehow missed this place. Today was our first tournament here and it was pretty nice.

With an abundance of activities and opportunities. It skirts Lake Erie with extensive walking paths. It also has a marvelous peer with provision for sitting and enjoying the water. There is a baseball field, extensive open lawn, pavilions, clean bathrooms, and a concession stand. The center of the park has a marvelous facility for parties of all kinds. Plus many public events. My favorite being the second Sunday of the month when they have ballroom dancing (with lessons for beginners) in a 5,000 sq. ft room. It is absolutely extraordinary! "Soul Shake and the East Side Horns" was performing right along the Lakeshore. The music they played can only be done right with horns to back it up. They did a great job. Everyone had a really great time. Food truck and beverage tables made everyone happy. There was plenty of easy parking right on sight. And we all got to see how the lakefront restoration is coming along. It was a really fun evening. Sad it's the last one for this year. Come and enjoy the park all year.
