The greens here need some work and tree removal is a must, but the turf has improved since opening and it isn't choked with hacks. The hiking paths seemed clear enough and easy to navigate although our hike was short. Most people venture out here for short and long hikes. I especially loved viewing the small WATERFALLS at the reservation. To summarize, per the website: "This reservation features a deep gorge -- declared a National Natural Landmark -- carved out by Tinker's Creek, with picturesque vistas and waterfalls." I guess the most enjoyment I got from playing here is the fact that I've played with some special people that were in my life at the time so that make me smile, otherwise its just a step above a hay field that would better used for growing grapes since this is the beginning of wine country. But when I tried to cash my lottery ticket I was faced with a very unpleasant lady telling me that she is busy with taking wagers and she would not do it, and I should come back in one hour. I did that, another person was at the lottery window telling me they would not cash my ticket, their computer was down. I don't believe that, as I saw them selling tickets, which requires a computer as well. But he told me I had to go over to the MGM casino and try it there. MGM cashed my ticket.

Official 'holes' are setup with relatively good course markings. Arguably the first few holes are the best as they run along the beach and include nice grassy fairways surrounded by trees on either side. Once you get to the back 9 you end up with more 'field holes' where there is no distinct shape to the fairway. A few of the holes are in heavily wooded areas so bring a spare disk or be prepared to hunt.
