So we Finally called this place they picked up the phone and we told them what was going on and the guy on the phone told us to bring it in and they will look at it. We arrived and talked with Chris I think that's what his name was he was nice. He hooked up his computer and did what ever he did on it and went under the hood and started messing around with wires un hooking this and that and yes he let me watch. He found a problem with a black thing I forgot what it was called. So he ordered one and i think it was about 45 min and he was done with it. No more missing and the price wasn't bad. The only reason for the 4 stars is they didn't have a waiting room they had chair's and a picnic table to sit down at out side. But they are a Small shop with 2 over head doors. But the service was great and they did offer us something to drink while we were waiting. Yes I would recommend this shop and if we are ever down again and we have any car trouble god forbid we will be using them. Thank you Morgan's Auto

I lost all…read morepower to my vehicle, threw a rod, and the engine went into safety mode so I had time to cross traffic onto an easement. I was in the middle of nowhere alone. Not a sole in sight. I had trouble finding a wrecker service because I didn't have much of a cell signal. The tow company, Steve Steel's, out of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, found exactly where I was calling from. He called me back within 5 minutes and had a truck on the way. While waiting, I checked the oil, checked for burning electrical, checked the coolant, etc. So Steel's sent me to Morgan's based on his recommendation of, "I wouldn't take my car anywhere else, ma'am". Chris and his family were warm, caring, courteous people. They welcomed me in their Home while Chris and his son worked on my car. When I say they worked on my car, I mean they busted their butts to try to get me on the road. They worked all day into the evening, and we had to pause until the next day. They took me to where I'd booked a room for the night and they worked nearly all day Saturday to figure out what the heck was happening. Turns out there was an open recall on the very recall was the reason I was stranded. They put the car BACK TOGETHER for me and got me to my sister who came from an hour + and Morgan's took care of the pickup of my vehicle by the Steel's and I had a solution to everything. If you're broke down near Broken Bow, OK, that's the only place to take your car and know you're being truly taken care of. Chris was honest and was absolutely trustworthy. I've dealt with a LOT of mechanics across the nation because of my job and with 100% certainty I would go there before ANY of the companies I've dealt with. Thank you so much, Chris, son, & family for making a nightmare quite a bit bearable.

I really thought they did good work. But I committed a friend and she said that they messed up her car and they just did an oil change she says that the oil was still dirty inside when she checked it and that it was all over her car like she was having an oil leak and they didn't put enough oil in it. Then I recommended my son before I found out that she had bad damage and they done in his brakes and his transmission and oil change and boy they just made a mess of everything and his brakes are worse now and he's just having a lot of issues with his car so I do not recommend this place due to the damages of these people have had probably if I've looked under my truck and stuff I would have seen the same damages. They leave your car greasy. They put oil all over the steering wheel and they don't keep the oil off their feet so if you don't have good floor mats it's all of your floor

Early Monday I called 84 Auto Shop and explained the situation. They said they could help me but the part was in Texarkana and it would take some time to the part. In the meantime we had the SUV towed to their place. Within 10-15 minutes the new alternator showed up. They had pulled the SUV in the bay and were taking the old alternator out. They put the new one in, tested it, done! The mechanic did a great job and the price I paid was what they estimated. I recommend this shop.

I was driving from Dallas to Little Rock and my power steering went out going 75 on the interstate…read more When a tow truck rescued me and brought me to Howell's Auto Repair, everyone who works there made it their mission to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. The woman who handles the payments drove to Texarkana to get a part I needed, so I could drive home that day. Everyone was very sympathetic of my situation and helped get me back on the road. The owner or manager gave me recommendations of how I should continue to care for my car and sent me on my way. Very thankful for everyone who worked at Howell's that day to stop what they were doing to help me.

The manager looked at my car and agreed that I was not going to be able to drive it. AAA gave me the names of two area repair shops and the manager said the owner of one would come by to see what was needed. He came by and said all I needed was the replacement of a lower control arm bolt that had fallen out. He had a car on his tow truck and took it on to Texarkana while I waited for the AAA tow. He came back to check on me and I was still; waiting for a tow. He loaded my car on his truck and took me on to his repair shop. His wife was running the office and did what she could to make me comfortable while he went to pull a bolt from a junk yard (I think) and it was installed. They checked my car over to make sure everything else was okay for me to get back on the road-still over 300 miles from home. Was I ripped off? Not on your life. About $90 for the repair and no charge for the tow! I can never fully express the gratitude I have for Bob, his wife, son, daughter-in-law, and mechanics. It was scary to have car trouble so far from home and being a retired woman traveling alone made it worse. I feel that I was extremely lucky that my trouble was in New Boston because I could not ask for better service or care than I received.
