Oleg did some testing on the furnace and got it running for the time being, but confirmed it was on the way out and the A/C had a leak. The system was 30 years old original to the house, so time to replace. Got another appointment a few days later for a full replacement of our entire downstairs HVAC setup. Wes was the first person who truly listened and took our concerns seriously. He came out to assess the situation, then returned with Sam (an excellent helper), and together they carefully inspected the system. When they opened the air handler and discovered broken drywall, it finally explained everything--those gaps were letting in toxins from other areas of the building.
