Excellent selection of cigars and service. Got me in and out in no time. Ample parking. It's a huge parking lot. There's a large selection of smokeless tobacco and cigarettes as well. This is a smokers haven. I'm not a smoker but this is where I would go if I were. there is active smoking, so you will smell like smoke after you leave. Just wanted to throw that in there. This is not the place you want to purchase tobacco products if you don't like or don't want to smell like smoke

Stopped by while driving between cities in NC. Friendly staff. Great deal on Oliva Masterblend 3s. Ask for the extra 10% off for Veterans!

Where else But JR go get ya smokes for a great price. I love going here because I can grab a variety of sticks to share with the fellas

I've driven past this place a few times and I've seen their billboards a hundred times. Today was the first time that I was in no rush and figured that I would finally check it out. And the verdict is that it's as the earlier review says. This place is half Wal-Mart and half flea market. I suppose that they have a selection of "core" items but the rest seems to be whatever the buyer could get a good deal on. Hats, jeans, cowboy boots, suitcases, toys, towels (rainbow of colors), books, and too many more to list. I walked in with the expectation that I wasn't going to be buying anything at all, but I was 20 feet into the store and I found two things. I had to circle back for a shopping trolley. In the end, I got a pair of gloves, a very nice leather wallet ($7), a pair of "irregular" Wrangler jeans ($15, I still can't figure out what was wrong with them), a Chicago Cutlery kitchen knife ($8) and a few other bits and bobs. Considering that I wasn't planning any purchase, the $50 total at the register was a bit of a surprise because I bought a good bunch of stuff. None of it junk. I have no comment on the cigarettes or cigars as those aren't my sins.

The air hums with the scent of tobacco, oak, and good decisions made slowly. Plush couches and deep leather chairs form little islands of comfort, perfect for sinking into a conversation that doesn't need to end soon. Along the walls, humidors stand like treasure chests, keeping their cigars in stately silence. Vintage wood glows everywhere--from the bar's polished surface to the beams above--each grain steeped in quiet history. Overhead, TVs flicker with old games and new ones alike, while dart boards wait nearby for a little friendly competition between sips of bourbon and curls of smoke. The bartender slides the Old Fashioned across the bar with the precision of a man who's been doing it long enough to know that showmanship is for amateurs. No fancy garnish, no chatter--just the soft clink of glass meeting wood and a nod that says this'll do. Happiness here isn't loud or glittery--it's slow-burning and pleasantly lopsided, like a jazz tune played just slightly off the beat. It seeps in between sips and smoke rings, wrapping itself around you like the worn leather of the chair you've claimed for the night. It's the kind that finds you sitting still, glass half full, smoke curling upward like a satisfied sigh. Cheers!

I love coming here because I feel so welcomed and after a while it begins to feel like Cheers where everyone knows your name. I particularly love Southerlands because it's conveniently located close to Stock and Grain Food Hall in High Point. It's literally a 2 min drive. This spot has all the vibes, wonderful music, friendly staff and occasionally a food truck. Even though I don't always smoke a cigar, I appreciate that when you walk inside, you don't instantly smell it so strongly. I've been to other cigar lounges and the cigar smoke can be a lot. Y'all know I absolutely love a good cocktail. The bartenders are wonderful and the drink selections are plenty. Even if you don't see something on the menu you would like, they can make you anything. I appreciate how accommodating they are as well. Whether I come during the week (they started $5 drink specials on Wednesdays) I can pull up and have a drink and bring my laptop or come on a Friday for Ladies Night and have a DJ spin and I'm on the dance floor. Whatever you are feeling, they have it. You also never know who you're going to meet. I think it's also a great place for networking. They do have options if you'd like to do a private event or celebrate something special. There is plenty of space and a very large parking lot. I'll have to update you all on the cigars when I go next time. They've been in business about 3 years and I want it to stay around. Please support this local establishment. You will not be disappointed. I hope when you come that you make a friend or two because I definitely have. Be sure to follow on IG at Southerlandscigarlounge for updates and specials during the week.

The days of pounding shots in bars are long behind me and not fun anymore. But a cigar lounge and a glass of whiskey feels relaxed and more sophisticated. The Smoke & Oak has been on my wish list list for a while and I'm happy I finally went! The location is nondescript, looking like a normal house from the street were it not for the sign. Street parking was not difficult to find. Inside, the ambiance is great. Soft warm lighting, ample plush leather chairs for seating, attractive displays of cigars and a huge selection of whiskeys. The staff are passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly and made great recommendations. Walking in as a complete novice felt intimidating, and they made it much easier than I expected. I was taught basic terminology and options on pairings. Pricing felt reasonable and fair. The atmosphere was extremely laid back and relaxing. Socializing and networking with the other men was fun.
