The lady in the front I think her name is Nicole, called 3 days before my order to confirm it and I was able to make last minute changes and was able to add a jumper and portapotty!! This place will cancel your jumper at the last minute and they won't even offer a discount or refer you to someone else for putting you through this inconvenience. I asked at least for a discount off the tables and chairs because they canceled the jumper 3 hours before the delivery time. How was I supposed to find a place to have a jumper that last minute on top of everything I needed to do to prepare for my party. I am never renting here again. Used JR Party rentals last weekend for an event. Loved how they deliver the day before and pick up the day after. Chairs and tables worked for the party & were comfortable. However the 60" says it can sit up to 10 people. Not sure how that's possible because the placement of the legs makes it to where only 8 can really sit. So unfortunately we had a lot of people without seats to sit. Another thing, their website says their chairs are .69¢ and tables are $8. Well we were charged $1 a chair & $9 a table. False advertising, Not a huge difference but it definitely adds up when you get 50+ chairs. Overall, id use them again. Id just keep their pricing in mind for my budget and also be sure to get more tables. read more

I rented a jumper and helium tank for my daughter's first birthday party. The Party was held at the Cameron Center in West Covina. We paid for rental plus insurance fees with the center. When I rented the jumper from JR Party Rentals, I was given an invoice with my balance showing that I had paid half of the total amount. I was told I wouldn't have to pay the $25 insurance fee for the bounce house since the party was NOT at the park but instead inside the center. Two days before the party, I went to the store in person to confirm my balance. The day of the party I had the money ready, to my surprise the delivery man was charging me $25 extra, I told him I was told I wasn't going to pay for any insurance since it was not needed. He basically said, if I didn't pay for it, he would have to pay out of his pocket. So, I ended up paying the $25 but told him I was going to visit the store to ask for my money back, and he advised I did. Went to the store twice, called a couple of times, I have showed the invoices, my receipts and they won't return my $25. It's been 5 months that I was told the owner would call me and nothing. I could have given them more stars but customer service was not the best either, there's a lady there more focused in watching YouTube videos than paying attention to customers or her toddler who is wondering around the store. The younger girl who originally took my order said she would check in pricing for a custom made piñata and never got back to me either and apparently not sure why she informed me I wasn't going to have to pay the $25 insurance fee. In addition, the delivery man didn't not leave a generator for the jumper, he plugged it in one of the outlets inside the room we rented which forced us to have the doors opened that led to the patio due to the extension cord getting stuck beneath the door....and this caused for the AC to be shut down. (This will be another review of the Cameron Center) I asked the delivery man about the generator and he responded that I was supposed to request it. Shouldn't they have asked me if I needed one, I mean they are the ones who have more experience with this. Every party I've been to, I've seen the generator, not once have I seen a jumper been plugged inside of the location. read more

Not sure where to start. Experience as a first time client was good, but could have been better especially when it comes to customer service.. wanted to give a different bounce house store a try since I was looking for a Frozen Themed Jumper. I requested a quote on yelp and the owner told me $25 for delivery and $85 for the jumper. (I saw the quote after I had finished the order on the phone). The response time on Yelp said 10 mins and I did not get a quote back yet after waiting 20 mins so I had called the store instead. Never had I ever been charged for delivery at previous bounce house spots but I guess it was fine since I was desperate for a jumper since my party was about 5 days after the ordered date. An older woman answered, she was nice and she had told me that the 13x13 jumper was $85 and delivery was $10. I said okay great, and I had to pay upon arrival. Good thing I had requested an invoice for my record.. because $25 is too much for delivery fee.. A day before the party, a younger girl had called me to confirm the order and I don't know but she did not sound polite at all.. rude.. she did not even address herself who she was nor ask for my name to make sure I am the person who had ordered the jumper. She just went straight to saying something along the lines of "confirming for tomorrow for Elsa jumper... " Upon arrival: I was not home so my brother had to talk to the delivery man. My brother did not know the company's name so he just wanted to make sure and ask the delivery man. There was a few convos exchanged and basically my brother said he wasn't understanding and said it should be for us unless we were expecting somebody else to arrive.. weird of why he would say that we just wanted to confirm so it's nothing bad about it.. Anyways, No sand bags were provided when I got home and was wondering what happen to it. I asked my brother he said he wasn't sure and wondered why they did not provide any.. at previous spot the sand bags are always provided bc there are many little kids and when they jump all or most at once the jumper will shift.. which means we will have to pull the jumper back into place... (had previous experience so we know..) my brother said that the jumper was filthy in and out and he had cleaned it. Disappointed because I thought jumpers are supposed to be cleaned regularly... Pickup time was the next day at noon was what the delivery man had said.. i was home so upon arrival thats when i told him about no sand bag being present and he said it shouldn't move unless the kids were bouncing off the walls.. lmao this was when i explained how the jumpers can shift when kids r in and jumping in a group.. and then he said oh really. And i asked about sand bags and he said its only provided when the location is on a hill but is available upon request w/ no extra charge.. My brother said he was the same man who dropped it off too.. he seemed nice... i don't know lmao read more

This company is very frustrating. I attempted to rent a jumper for my daughter's birthday. I say attempted because I called every day, multiple times a day, for 2 weeks. No one ever picked up the phone. I left multiple messages and sent 2 emails. Never got a response. If a business can't be bothered to pick up the phone how on earth can I trust them to deliver something for a birthday party? I stopped trying to get ahold of them and found another company. Based on this experience I would not recommend even trying to book through them. read more

I was not able to bring the rentals back so I had asked my brother to do so. He made the mistake of returning my tables along with their chairs; I did not notice until a few days ago. When my mom went back to claim the two tables the owner said she didn't speak Spanish.... So then my mom calls me to translate. Three times she responded to my mom in English what I was telling my mom in Spanish they tried to pull the language barrier card in order to try to keep the two tables. The lack of integrity from the owners is embarrassing, never going back and I will continue to burn them out for being weirdos. They could have called me to let me know we made the mistake of turning in our tables but they did not, mind y'all, I sent my mom back a week later. They had a week to let me know. Then I went to check out the place so I can see other things like pinata, shaved ice maker, etc. I ended up renting some chairs and tables and a pinata. With Yelp check-in, I got free pinata stick! Very reasonably priced. I also found out if u pick up, there is no delivery fee. Of course, if you live far, do the delivery which includes set up and pick up at the end. I ordered a chocolate fountain it came with two bags of chocolate and a basic jumper. It was supposed to be delivered by 12pm and it came around 2pm. The party has already started and plenty of guest were already there. I wasn't called to be informed of them running late, I had to call and see what happened. The chocolate was melted so the majority of the chocolate was stuck to the bag and difficult to use. I was told he would come back the next morning between 9-11am. He didn't arrive until 11:45. 3 s strikes and you're out. My most recent rental was about a month ago bring in five tables and 40 chairs. When I went into the show room I requested clean chairs and she indicated that the chairs would be clean and in great condition. The chair that delivered were terrible the aluminum legs and frame of the chairs were rested. And the plastic seats and backs were no longer white they were a dingy gray clearly dirty and not cleaned. When setting up the chairs one of the chairs had a big glob of green frosting obviously from a cake. The surrounding chairs also had frosting which was gross. It had rotted since it had been in the heat for who knows how long. Prior to that I had a rental last year almost exactly the same time. It was delivered significantly later than requested. And three of the 40 chairs that had rented were broken. Called the shop to ask for new chairs no answer. There is also trouble with payment the credit card machine at the retail location was broken. It rejected three of my credit cards and they made me feel like it was my fault. After contacting my credit card company realized that it was a problem with their processing. Had to pay via memo which was kind of sketchy. Prior to that Mother's Day several years ago they completely forgot to deliver my order. When I spoke to the owner he asked me to give him a call on my next rental and he would take care of it. On subsequent rentals I tried contacting him no response. This is what happens when you try and support small businesses in your community. read more
