When I brought my vehicle in on Thursday I was told it would not be ready until Monday the next day I received a phone call from Javier stating it will be ready the following day and I found this sketchy so I went on to pick up my vehicle and paid for their services thinking everything was fine only to find out that my vehicle later on that night continued to make the same noise that I brought it in for so I waited to see if it would stop and it did not then as night fell I went to turn on my lights and they did not work after I just installed new bulbs a week prior to bringing my vehicle to this nightmare of a place and when my father went to check the lights only to find out my bulbs were taken and replaced with non functional ones without my authority and I still had the package box of the ones my father had installed to prove this and when I called to question Javier he was very rude and hung up the phone on me . This was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Called them to get a quote…read morefor the work I knew I needed done on my car and was told that it couldn't happen over the phone, but that I had to come down in person. A little strange but ok whatever. Came down and was given a quote, upon leaving realized a service I was going to need wasn't listed so I went back in and they provided me with an updated quote. The part I needed was a specialty part so they told me I would need to come and pay a "deposit" for the part before they ordered. I agreed to that, within 6 days of the date I was given the quote I went to pay the deposit, magically the amount of the part went up by almost $200. I needed the work done so I paid it but noted it as the first red flag. They informed me that the part should arrive by Wednesday (3 business days) which was fine. Wednesday came and when they did not call I called for an update and the part hadn't arrived. Called them the following day and they advised they received the part but it was missing a key piece, that it was being expedited and should arrive the next day. Called the next day (because why would they communicate with their customers) for them to tell me that there was a delay and that it wasn't going to be delivered until the following Wednesday (so a week after the original date I was given.) I immediately was irritated and asked to speak to a manager; I was inquiring as to how that was good customer service and asked that at the very least they honor the original quote that they gave me. I was irritated but was never yelling or cursing at anyone; I kept it very respectful. The "manager" proceeded to tell me that if they honored the original quote they would lose money and they are a business and that's not going to work for them. I was also told that no one "twisted my arm" to pay the additional $200. Twisted my arm huh, never experienced worst customer service in my life. I got the work done with them for no other reason that I was already in $1,000 for parts but please don't go here unless you want to be verbally abused and mistreated.

They will service your car...and if you have a Hoboken resident parking sticker, they will park it for you around the neighborhood to ensure you don't get a parking ticket. (They also service non-resident owned cars....) Quick turn-around times. HONEST, good quality service, transparently priced...good communication...full service...and it is literally a joy to bring my car to Willow Sunoco. Only down sides: - prices have gone up a LOT as time goes by, but that is all over for garages in the metro area, thus an honest mechanic trumps prices IMO. - depending on the complexity of the repair, most times my car wasn't done on the day promised (he seems to take on a lot of jobs at once, and faced with street parking challenges), so I always assume to leave my car for a few days more and on a week I do not need the car as much. I had a really bad experience here. My first trip to Hudson Auto & Gas was around 4 months ago when…read moremy coolant started leaking (2010 Volkswagen cc). They fixed it with a brand new radiator hose for $400. Shortly after that, a million different lights started flashing on my dashboard, with the indication that there was an issue with the engine. I brought it back, and they diagnosed my car with a broken intake manifold, which needed to be replaced with a brand new factory made intake manifold from the dealership. Another $1000. After replacing the intake manifold, they called me and said my car was ready to be picked up. I came to pick it up, turned on the car, and didn't even get off the lot before a loud noise started coming from the hood. My steering wheel was shaking and the whole car was bumping up and down. The problem was FAR from fixed and my car actually felt A-LOT worse. Begrudgingly, I brought it back the next day, and get this. They told me that they needed to replace a whole OTHER PART - brand new fuel injectors - for a grand total of another $1400. At this point, I didn't trust their judgement. You fix my car, tell me it's good to go, but then say "wait never mind we completely missed fixing $1400 worth of damages??" Hard to believe . SO, I brought my car elsewhere for a second opinion, obviously, and they fixed it up for just $450, a THIRD of the estimate I had received from Hudson Auto. I feel like they took advantage of me. I don't trust these guys. Neither should you.
