We are a storage facility who asked them at least a month ago if they would impound a sailboat that is very delinquent. They said yes. I had to send a certified letter giving 30 days to the tenant that this company would be impounding it on 11/22/23. They have given me the run around for a week and now today they tell me they wont do it unless we pay them. This is not the way it works and I talked to them about it when I called a month ago. The towing company impounds a delinquent vehicle and they then own it and can do what they want with it. They should have told me this in the beginning and not led me in circles like this. I now have to consult an attorney to see if I have to start the 30-days all over again with a new towing company. read more

I caught a flat in the dark early morning hours. That's when I realized I forgot my cell phone. I had to walk abt a qtr mile to a safe place to call for help. I called JRs Towing. The dispatcher was a calm and nice young lady that was very good with getting the details right. She was very patient. Marcus, the tow truck driver showed up in less than 30 minutes. I was very happy to see him! He made me very comfortable and was very patient and friendly as well. I will definitely be contacting them again. I'm putting them on speed dial! I needed a tow due to a flat that I had no spare to change. I called JR's and got a tow to my house in a timely manner. The driver Thomas was friendly and very helpful. I will use JR's again, if I need to. I have used the service before for a dead battery jump twice in the past with the same courtesy and reasonable cost for the services. read more

Last Friday (07/05/19) my engine completely broke down going east on I-70 leaving Indianapolis. I sat there for 2 hours before my insurance company was finally able to help me locate a towing company. The first company backed out after an hour, which is when they contacted Jr's Services & Recovery. Almost immediately I received a call from James who was the driver responsible for picking up my car. He's had to have been in this industry for awhile because he knew exactly what to say to me to make me feel better about the situation. He let me know exactly where he was and how long he was going to be (no company has even done that for me before) I had a friend picking me up at that point in time and he let me know what I needed to have in order for him to pick up my car without physically being there. I received multiple calls from James, every important step that he was making. Once to let me know he was on the way, when he found my car, another when he was headed to the dealership, one confirm my payment amount, let me know that he dropped my car off at the dealership and EVEN filled out a form and dropped my keys in the drop box! Lastly and most importantly, he looked at all my car tires when he noticed that there was dry rot around my front drivers side tire! (Something the Jiffy lube in Speedway must have over looked when they were filling my tires just earlier that day...) He not only called to let me know but he even sent me pictures! The level of customer service I received from James is truly unmatched. I have never met such a selfless and kind human being. I have a lot of things that I need to be thankful for that day and James from Jr.s is absolutely one of them. After this last snowstorm I attempted to back my car out of the driveway and I got stuck about a centimeter from the neighbors fence. I called today. Amber was awesome and quick to respond through Messages. She had a driver out within an hour(John). He called to confirm on his way. He saw and said that he could get my car out with no damages. I called JR's Service and Recovery for a tow to an AutoZone to get a new battery and alternator. James Froedge was the driver, and I honestly cannot put into words how much I appreciate him for his generosity, hard work, and professionalism throughout this process. He arrived within 20 minutes of me calling in. Once James arrived, he took time to explain everything he was doing and communicated the proper steps we should take for the best outcome. I believe he recognized my lack of experience working with cars, so James single-handedly took it upon himself to help me replace my battery and alternator once we arrived at the closest AutoZone. The service was provided at an incredible price, and I cannot recommend their company enough! I will certainly be coming back if I have any other car issues, and I will start spreading the word, that this is the place to go. read more

Called JR's and requested a tow for my vehicle. After giving them all my information and location of my unlocked vehicle, with the keys in the front seat, they agreed to tow my vehicle. I was told a driver would contact me in roughly 10 minutes... waited a 1/2 hour and hadn't heard anything. Called JR's back and they declined the call twice. My car was about to be towed from a family dollar parking lot. It had hooks on it but not on the truck. I was told I had to pay $112 for them to unhook it. I was making calls trying to get someone to cash app me the money. I saw my friend paying $120 and thought she was paying for her car. I didn't know that her car wasn't in that parking lot. I didn't realize she was paying mine. Afterwords she walked away. When my friend on the phone sent money that's when I first noticed that they had already released my car (because they were paid), but I didn't know, and I didn't want to pull off knowing I hadn't paid. I went up to the guy and told him I had the money on cash app, and he took my payment too! Right after I paid my friend calls and that's when I learned what happened. I went back to the guy and explained. He said she only paid for one car, I said I know, because her car wasn't on your list. He drove off. I called the company. They said they would talk to him but can't guarantee I'll get my money back. I waited until they returned. When they returned the guy changed his story and said he gave her her money back, but he didn't, she was already gone. There are cameras in that parking lot. I am reporting the issue to the state attorney general and the better business bureau. If I have cash app email or contact info, I will be happy to include you in all correspondence. The owner told me he would watch the camera on the truck and reach out on Sunday. He did not and still have not. I went back and read reviews and there are multiple complaints calling them thieves, accusing them of being racist as well. I will be filing with the Better Business Bureau and anyone else who will listen, watch parking lot camera footage or anything. I will send a copy of this correspondence to the owner and posting on every social media site I can find. I want them brought to justice and I want consumers aware of their business practices. read more

Hit a pothole in pouring rain on 465W & had 2 flat tires. Looked through Yelp & called a few, but these guys cost the same & could tow my low profile vehicle on a flat bed tow truck within 15 minutes.
