Decided to get a bouquet for my wife's first anniversary of being cancer free. Also decided to shop small business instead of going to a big store. Especially during Covid. Less people to deal with, parking right up front, helping out a smaller business owner, and getting personal service. All out a win win situation. The lady that helped me was very nice and made a beautiful bouquet. The selection she used was very well put together. I've been here a couple times for my kids dances. Great place for fresh flowers at very reasonable prices. My last purchase was for five dozen long stemmed red roses for a sentimental occasion I had. I had been driving by another flower shop and asked them the price of a dozen roses. Then I asked how much for five dozen. They weren't willing to give me any discount. Not even $5 a dozen which would have closed the deal. I went on to Mrs. J's and they gave me a great price on the five dozen roses! Much better than the other store even if they had knocked $5 a dozen off the price. Mrs. J's earned my usiness and will be getting my flower purchases long into the future! read more

When I saw the roses that my husband purchased for Valentine's Day 2021, I chided him about buying them from a reputable florist, not a big-box store. I was shocked when he told me he bought them from J's. We have purchased flowers from there for years and have always been happy with the quality. This time, every single stem had several torn petals and/or dry, blackening edges. He mentioned it was not the owner who rang him up, so maybe there is a training issue with new staff. I honestly cannot see the owner letting these out of her shop and am hopeful this is a one-time oversight. Three stars, based on past quality, but we will be paying a lot more attention to the quality of any future purchases. read more

I called for a simple boutonnière & corsage - with very short notice (Wednesday call to pick up on Friday). "J" was reluctant but said, "sure" and stated the price. However, when I asked if a small handheld bouquet could be done instead (and truly, I meant 3 or 4 flowers tied with a ribbon), she was very curt saying, "I can't. I don't have time. It's Mother's Day weekend, it's prom and I'm alone." I appreciate the honesty and sympathize with what must be a stressful and busy week but it was a real turn off for now and future business. :( read more

This place is amazing! The ambience was great, the selection was good even if they had been busy, and the staff was awesome. We asked for a Christmas Get Well arrangement and it turned out great. We had gone to another shop across town a couple weeks ago and asked for the same thing and it was not nearly as good. The arrangement we got here was full and absolutely worth the money compared to the other place we went to a few weeks ago. You can also pick out what flowers you want and the staff will arrange them beautifully. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a flower arrangement. read more

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We were in the area and needed some flowers. I saw that this place had a good review, so we thought we'd check it out. It is SUCH a cute shop!! Miss J herself helped us and she was so nice. She let me use my own vase and helped us pick out some stems and then arranged them for us. I can't really say much about the pricing because I don't buy fresh flowers that often. The bouquet we put together ended up being $12 which I thought was decent. I just stopped in on the spur of a moment to put together a bouquet for a friend and Mrs J was in there and She put the most amazing assorted fresh bouquet together in like 5 minutes for me ! Angela I have a big problem with your review. You stated "you called on very short notice ", but J helped you out! Correct? You said you asked for a "small handheld bouquet" how many flowers do you think are in a bouquet? More than 3 or 4! If you had asked J for 3 or 4 flowers with a ribbon, J would have bent over backwards to help you out! That is the way J runs her store. She is there for her costumers. You should have asked J for what you wanted. To bash her for something you did not ask for is wrong. She explained to you that she was very busy with Mother's Day & Prom and she was working alone. If you appreciate her honesty and sympathize why would you write a bad review? In case you don't know, J is the owner, the florist, does all the ordering,the secretary,the janitor, the billing department. She is a 1 women operation! Obviously, you were in her store did you notice the awards on her shelve? Those awards were not given to her, they were awarded to her for the successful business she has built.She has earned every one of them! I have had the privilege of working with J for several years. She has created beautiful flowers for graduations, several corsages for my daughters, bouquets for my daughters dance recitals. She has always been great to work with. I have been in her store and witnessed a line of happy customers lined up waiting to get their flowers from J's. As I have not physically been in the store, I cannot comment on the flowers themselves. However, I do want to comment on the excellent customer service. I was ordering a bouquet for a friend (in GR) while I was physically in Illinois. Jessica was very helpful and friendly and took note of all of my requests. She seems to enjoy and take pride in her job, which is a rare find these days! I am confident that she is going to create a lovely bouquet. read more
