A Best Tailoring & Alterations - My Wedding Dress.

She took the time in making sure the dress flowed beautifully with the new length and gave recommendations. As well as, made sure the modest patch was perfect. I highly recommend her for any dress/clothing tailoring!

I was very dissatisfied with my other seamstress' work when I received my dress back and had to call around and a couple places turned me down due to the tight deadline and "sorry we don't touch dresses that's been altered already" BUT Ezzat thankfully told me to come in to see her. She pointed out that the original bustle of the dress was terrible (it was basically a piece of cloth, very thick and very noticeable) and also mentioned the dress needed to properly fit my body shape and show off my figure (the dress was basically a square on me) She quickly pinned the dress to the shape of my body and replace the bustles to the proper kind and gave me her reassurance that it will be ready before I leave in 2 weeks for my destination wedding. She finished my dress early! About 5 days earlier than the original appt she set up to pick up and it looked perfect! She didn't charge me a rush fee, and her price is VERY fair. While other places would've charged an arm and leg to get it altered I felt like Ezzat's price was very valuable! She also added little hanging straps to the wedding dress since she noticed there wasn't any which I very much appreciate I will be going back to Ezzat for any future alterations

I purchased a cheap suit from Amazon that looked sort of like a burlap sack and envisioned the suit with hand stitching like the character from the movie. I wasn't expecting to be able to pull off the glow, which he is famous for in the movie. But working with the designers at Sinyan's, we were able to figure it out. I brought AI generated designs and specifications (meticulous to some degree) to the team and they were able to tailor the suit, dye it with glowing paint and do the stitching according to my designs. They did it quickly and at a reasonable price for something that is perhaps beyond the norm of their usual business. I'm impressed with the final product and my friends and family loved it too.

She hemmed it and removed lining to make it lighter for a summer wedding. (Her idea) I thought her price was reasonable. The only negative is I left a message on yelp with no response. I called the number on website and mailbox full. I had to go to her shop that is close to my home and luckily she was in her shop. She does the fitting in her shop and the sewing area is on another floor in the building. I made a an appt for the consultation. On day of consultation appt, she was not in shop. So, had to ring the intercom door bell and she took about 10 minutes to come down. The second time for the fitting appt, she was not in shop again, and had to call her to let her know i was there. I waited for 5 minutes. Parking is limited mid day. Overall, I recommend her for the tailoring work, and consultation. Time management need working on. However, she did have my dress ready on time.

I chose Ophelia Alterations & Gifts mainly because of her location which was closer to me than the others. I was not disappointed. A little background on my project. My father passed away several years ago. He was career Navy. I came across a collection of patches he had collected over his career of places he/we've been stationed, squadron and ships he'd served on. He wasn't one to patch his jackets (hence his collection) so I thought I'd take a few select and patch one of my own. A tribute to his service. I thought I could do it myself. A few needle punctures later I gave up. This is definitely a job for a professional. I was able to Velcro hook side the patches though. Which brought me to Misty of Ophelia Alterations & Gifts. She let me know via YELP message that she could do this project and the price sounded reasonable per patch so I decided to move forward. I wasn't sure because it seemed to me that most services I've found work with weddings, suits, dresses, etc. of the sort. And not being closer to a base or post where there are places off base that do it for sailor or soldier uniforms and jackets I was happy to hear she could work with me on this though not anything fancy or formal. I called her right away and she was able to take the coat and patches that day. I explained and showed her what I wanted and where. Despite working with other projects that I could see the turn around time was good and I didn't wait too long to get my jacket back. She did a wonderful job! Just FYI, she didn't actually sew the patches to the jacket, just the Velcro loop sides so I can remove and change patches if I want. Still, the jacket looks tight! And having a couple of other projects I've been chewing on for a tick, I'll definitely be using her services again in the future!
