I asked the owner if I could view and select the hens first, and I received a grumble in return. As I was paying for the chickens and feeders, he was already on the way to our truck and loading the chickens into the kennel we brought. I didn't get to study them closely beforehand as I had asked. By the time we got them home (Angels Camp) and into the chicken yard, I realized that most of them had runny "noses." I was hopeful that our brand new coop, new feeders, new dust bath, new everything, and the 400 sq ft foraging yard with healthy organic sprouting grains would nurse them back to health. One and a half weeks later, the first hen died. When I called to speak to the owner, he simply said, "chickens die." Five month old chickens? I asked where I could get a necropsy to find out the exact cause of death. The owner gave me some info but didn't seem interested in the cause of death, even though they were sick when I purchased them. In May, three more of my precious chickens passed--all birds that had been eating and drinking well, and playing chicken games. I will call the owner again to inform him that I will be submitting today's dead chicken for a necropsy. He should be concerned about the quality of the poultry he is selling.

The staff here is always welcoming, personable and extremely helpful regarding any questions I may have. I was also very pleased to see some items that I usually purchase at tractor supply being sold here for a cheaper price! I'd also like to give a special shout out to Jordan for always being an incredible resource when it comes to anything poultry related. He is filled to the brim with knowledge is more than willing to share that knowledge which has helped a ton as a brand new chicken owner. Typically get greeted by a cashier on my way in. The store is usually clean, organized, and easy to navigate, which makes it quick to get in and out when I know what I need. They carry a solid selection of farm, ranch, and home supplies, and I've been able to find everything from tools to pet supplies. The staff has always been friendly and willing to help if you ask, though sometimes it can take a few minutes to track someone down during busier times. Prices are fair, and they run sales often, so it's worth keeping an eye out for deals.

The drying table is in the way of the ramp for dogs to get in and out of the tub. We've been going through show-lamb feed like mad the last few months and the curbside loading is wonderful. Recently purchased some cat vaccines and each sold for well under $10 each. Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenis Vaccines to be precise; "Focus Cat Vax 3". Needed to de-worm and vaccinate as well as she had visible tape worms. Not sure what these worms look like? They look like pieces of white rice and you guessed it; they are located on your cats bottom. Picked up Bayer brand Tape Worm tabs; 3 tabs for $20. Praziquantel tabs to be precise. Do not enjoy either one of these activities as I'd prefer to have my vet take care of these needed tasks however I am on a very restrictive and frugal lifestyle so I'm just grateful I am able to locate these two items at prices that I can afford. I have been waiting for over 12 days for them to come and they gave me 4 dates that a deliver would happen and it STILL hasn't been delivered. No supervisor or manager can be reached and they even charged me extra to get the service quicker. I would never choose them for service unless you like terrible customer service.
