Quick and honest. They answered my silly questions and seemed patient and knowledgeable. They don't have prices advertised like they did back in the day. Now they will let you know the cost based on the type of car, and they disclose the price before taking the keys. When I went, there were two people ahead of me, and when I left the whole waiting area was full, so they can get busy and have a bit of a wait, but it's generally pretty quick. 9 years on from my original review..... Nothing has changed, still my go to with all my vehicles....One more often than I would like, but the 500 mile a week commute racks up service intervals quick. They fill the washer fluid (I always know when I need a service as my washers run dry pretty much the same time) They also check tire pressure and will advise you if they spot anything untoward. And remember, they don't try to sell you anything but oil, and possibly a wiper blade if you need them. Will keep coming back!! read more

I came here Wednesday to my wife's Toyota oils changed, these guys are awesome. Small little mom & pop place on Grant Line right by the bowling alley. They get you in & out, and are honest priced. You can tell with how they describe their service to you that they know what they're doing. They'll double check all your fluids for you on top of doing your oil change. They have a TV inside the waiting room with chairs if you want to chill too. Mom & pop places have a bigger trust factor in my opinion than the corporate places. Came here for the first time as I saw some recommendations from other people in tracy. I came on a Saturday around 9am, and it was about a 20 minute wait for an oil change which was not bad at all. The mechanic that helped me was really friendly and informational and was not trying to upsell me on anything which was refreshing and I appreciated. My wifes Rav4 was at the point that the free services from the dealer had run out, so we needed to find a place to get the oil changed before a trip we were about to head out on. Everyone we know recommended this place, and just checking the yelp before hand I knew it would be good. Took this in first thing on a Monday morning and the wait was not bad at all. I was in and out in around 20-30 minutes and they took great care of the car, checking all the fluids and refilling the tires. They even used a genuine Toyota filter along with the perfect oil for our car. We will be back the next time we need an oil change. read more

I've taken 3 cars here and always had great service. I go straight to the rear of the building, where the cars enter the garage. I usually park to the right of the next car up. Most of the time, staff will tell you where to park (in their line system). One weekday afternoon, I showed up with just one car waiting. I only waited for almost 30 minutes. On weekends, you may encounter 4-5 cars deep. So it can be a nice wait. Their service doesn't stop at oil change. Like at dealerships, they perform a multi-point check on vehicles... from checking and topping off fluids to checking filters, belts, and tire pressure. On my last visit, they filled my coolant and windshield fluid, blew out the air filter, and added air in my tires. Everything else on the service checklist was "OK" or at spec. 5 stars all around! I called ahead to see if they allow walk ins. They sure do so came in, the guy on the phone was very friendly & said I could be in an out fairly quickly. I am from Southern California and we were up in the area for my husbands work for a few weeks, so I wasn't familiar with any local spots other than what I searched for on Yelp. Yelp was right again!!! The guy at the counter was the guy I spoke to on the phone and he was just so on top of it. I waited maybe 20 mins Or less which is what he said when I got there and while my car was being worked on, he went into the back area too and was helping with my car. I'm not sure if that's the norm, I'm assuming that's how this place operates that they all just try and work together and fast. Myself and my kids were watching them through the glass and they all just seemed to get along well and looked to be just having a good time working together. This was a great shop, my kids enjoyed watching and everything was done so fast. I was in an out and the staff were all so very friendly and nice. ( the two guys were holding up a giant box full of oil bottles and said my truck takes a bunch and laughed!! Then continued to keep opening & pouring another bottle in.) I was very pleased with the service I received here yesterday. I had to take someone to a doctor appointment in Tracy and while I was there I thought maybe I can get my oil changed quickly. I looked in Yelp for the best place and found this location. I definitely wasn't disappointed as what I read on Yelp was exactly what I got. The timing was great! No more then 15-20 minutes. Very friendly and the price was as expected. No higher then anywhere else. It was definitely a nice surprise for myself. We have gone to this place consistently for about 5 years now as my husband went to high school with the owner. They are always on top of it, super friendly and work fast. They almost always have people waiting but they still get you in and out as fast as they can. The lobby is always clean as well.
