The day of the cruise came (July 4th) and with 15 people in my driveway I called to find out why he was 15 minutes late. Found out he was at Logan on a different run and WAS NOT COMING! Just forgot, no apologies, no nothing. Had to take multiple vehicles to the terminal, and pay $140 per car to park for the week. Since returning I have heard nothing from them. By 11:05am with no one having shown up, I called all three phone numbers for the business . .one of which is Mike's cell number . . to no avail. By 11:10am, I had to load up my car and drive myself to the airport! What annoys me most is that I had spoken with Mike the prior Wednesday, October 26th, to confirm my transportation, and he said everything was all set. Mike finally did call my cell phone just prior to my boarding my flight at about 2:00pm to ask if I had made it to the airport. He said he was "looking into what happened" and would get back to me . . which, as of today, November 6th, he still has not. This is EXTREMELY disappointing. Over the years, I have been a loyal customer having used this business exclusively for both personal and professional travel , and have recommended Airport Express Direct to many friends and family members. What a horrible way to leave a customer . . just shameful! I obviously shall NEVER again utilize or recommend Airport Express Direct. He lives on the second floor, so we paid a lot more to bring her up the stairs in a special chair. Well, they had no idea how to get it to work, so my brother and nephew had to bring her up in her wheelchair one step at a time. It was very nerve-racking for my mom. They come back to get her, and a 10 minute drive turned into a 2 and a half hour drive. Supposedly, his GPS wasn't working. He shut off the motor while talking to the company, and my mother was freezing. Her feet were numb. My sister called and complained. She wanted a refund, and she canceled for christmas Day. They said that the driver didn't get back until 4 a.m. Like this was our fault! No refund. No regard for my poor elderly mother. Drop-off to airport went smoothly, though driver needs to learn boundaries and what type of small talk is appropriate. He spent the ride telling us about all of the bad things that happened to him, deaths of family & friends, and issues he has. Not something people want to hear at 4am while heading on vacation, especially with a 5 year old present! The pick-up at Logan is where the issues happened, because WE WERE NEVER PICKED UP AND LEFT STRANDED! Driver was supposed to be there for 6:30am, confirmed upon our departure when he dropped us off. The dates/times and flight info was confirmed with B&R upon hiring them. Someone from office called us day before to confirm again, and my mother called back and left a message re-confirming and giving all of our flight details. At 6:30 we called to check to see where driver was, and he told us traffic was bad but he would be there shortly. About 20 min go by, so we call again, no answer, leave a message for him to call us. Maybe 25 minutes later after still being unable to contact driver, we call B&R who rudely tell us that we did not confirm time with them so no one was coming and we "need to find another way home!" This infuriated us, especially after a long flight and being with a small child and the driver saying he was close by! We ended up having to rent a car just to get home after a long flight and significant time change where we were exhausted. Very deceitful and rude practice. Beware! Should have known better when we were told they do not email to confirm or provide confirmation numbers and accept cash only due to no card machine. Never again!
