My daughter had went in the office on Friday to purchase two additional sidewalls because the event is Saturday and the forecast reflects lots of rain. My daughter spoke to MacKenzie and told her how dirty the inside of the tent was. She wants to see pictures. As a rental company I would think they would take pride and inspect what is being deliver to there consumer.

After postponements due to COVID, we ended up having a mini wedding with just our parents and siblings, and canceled our scheduled large event with over 8 months of notice to Events Unlimited and our other vendors. Events Unlimited refused to return our deposit of over $1,600, which is a large deposit for rentals, but we never questioned it at booking because the idea of having to cancel our wedding due to a pandemic was not in the realm of possibility. Events Unlimited were entirely unsympathetic throughout our exchange and are retaining our large deposit without having provided any services and despite the pandemic. All of our others vendors were accommodating and provided refunds given the unprecedented global situation. We've reached out to Events Unlimited multiple times to reach a fair resolution, but the owner Marty Bathrick is unresponsive. I would recommend steering clear of this rental service.

Hera is very kind and accommodating and helps as little or as much as you'd like. She spent a good amount of time answering our questions about the area, giving us a history of the farm, and even recommended a great place to grab some coffee in town. Two weeks before the wedding, Angela recommended that my daughter change her choice of tables telling her why her choice would negatively impact the success of the day. She also discouraged my daughter by telling her the venue hadn't done too many weddings. We found Angela to be inflexible. It was raining the morning of the wedding. The venue was willing to wait until an hour before the ceremony to determine whether it would take place inside or out. Angela tried to pressure my daughter 5 hours before the ceremony to make a decision. Thankfully Angela's unnecessary pressure was ignored, the rain stopped and my daughter was able to have the outdoor wedding she wanted. At the reception, all guests were seated and ready to begin food service. Angela insisted they stick to her schedule and wait even though guests were hungry and the kitchen was ready to serve. My daughter asked the venue manager to begin food service which they did. While the bride was eating her salad, Angela went over to her and scolded her for not going through "the chain of command." Finally, Angela left the reception, leaving her assistant behind, without ever notifying the bride. Angela should have been a source of comfort and encouragement for the bride. Instead, it almost seemed like she was going out of her way to add stress.

I've been to Basilica Hudson for a couple events since the all-purpose space opened a few years…read moreago. The programs offered by BH are varied and include book readings, film presentations, and art installations. The Basilica also plays host to the wildly successful Farm and Flea, providing local vendors and artisans with a platform to showcase their particular areas of specialty. I visited Basilica Hudson most recently in early September 2015. On this night, the venue played host to a national touring band and warm-up for the coming weekend's Basilica Soundscape festival. If you didn't know it, it's likely that you will drive right past the enormous warehouse, designating it as yet another dilapidated warehouse dotting the Hudson. And while a closer inspection will validate this perception, you'll find that the Basilica is much more than a work in progress. The space is comprised of three primary rooms - the main floor, a sizable bar/lounge area, and movie-theater style seating room. At this event, the stage was located at the front of the main floor, with the bar immediately to its right. To my surprise, the sound in the Basilica is quite good. In my experience, enormous and mostly hollow spaces like this tend to produce a heavy echo, which can be distracting as a concert-goer. Speaking of space, the Basilica has lots of it, providing an excellent line of sight to the stage, no matter where you stand. On the night that I visited, it just so happened to be one of the hottest days of the entire summer. This contributed to an absolutely sweltering environment, as the heat just sat in the room with no real circulation. While this made things a little uncomfortable, the conditions really couldn't have been avoided. In the end, the heat didn't take away from a really incredible concert experience. If you live near Hudson and have the opportunity to take in an event at the Basilica, it is highly recommended. In addition to offering a diverse range of events, you'll have a blast exploring this truly unique space.

Go here if you want to hear artists that you like sound the worst you've ever heard them; perform here if you want your fans to feel swindled and let down. Stage lighting ambiance, such as it is, is ruined by very bright outdoor lights shining directly in through unobstructed windows behind the stage. Presumably due to the multi-functionality of the space, the stage construction and sound system seem excessively improvised/ramshackle. Acoustics are as poor as can be expected of a big open warehouse space lacking the benefits of a more fixed/permanent stage and more carefully considered and constructed sound design. Toilet paper in the bathroom stalls is not properly secured; the entire roll almost flew off directly into the toilet when I pulled on the end (fortunately I averted catastrophe by catching it). Everything else about the venue seems fine, but the sound quality is so inexcusably poor that I won't be back unless I specifically hear that it has improved. The multi-use nature of the space seemingly creates limitations/difficulties that they are currently unwilling or unable to adequately compensate for.

They also hada. few satellite bars set up, so there was never much of a wait to get a drink. Bathrooms are interesting. This is a 3 story building and the venue is on the top floor. Each floor has one bathroom. So if you want to go on the main concert level you'll probably wait, but you can also easily walk downstairs to the other bathrooms. Overall this was a really fun place to see a show. It reminded me a lot of White Eagle Hall in Jersey City. I'll absolutely have to keep my eyes on the calendar for future shows.

I picked out what I wanted,…read more3 1/2 months before my event, was sent a contract, signed it and sent a check for my deposit. Didn't hear back from them for a while, so six weeks before my party I emailed just to make sure everything was on board. Again, didn't hear from them. as time drew closer, I emailed yet again, and called. Got an answering machine and left a message. I did this three times. Finally, I got a call back 2 weeks before my event. I was excited to take the call as I wanted to finalize everything. The woman on the phone was quite curt and cut to the chase. She said that they had sent me 2 Emails in the past week and hadn't heard from me. I had been checking my emails for weeks, including SPAM and bever found one from them. She informed me that they were booked for the date of my party. I was in shock! She said that since I didn't respond to their email...again, never received one, they shredded my check and canceled my contract. it was 2 weeks before my party with 50 people, and I had no tables and chairs. Mind you, they had my phone number for over 3 months, and never called. The woman on the phone was so cold and unapologetic, I was stunned. I've never left a review on YELP before, and I'm sorry to have this be my first.
