So this was the only place within 100 miles with a frozen drink machine that we wanted for a big summer outdoor party. They were nice on the phone and with a large delivery charge were willing to deliver and pick it up. BUT then half of the double-sided machine leaked like crazy. They claim that is was our fault for moving the machine. The one guy who delivered it dropped it in the easiest place, of course we were going to move it. Not one word of caution about moving it or showing us even one thing about it. They left very primitive xeroxed directions. And after we returned it and requested some financial consideration for the fact that we weren't able to use HALF of the machine and wasted all the alcohol and mix for the leaky half...they said it was our own fault. On Monday, 6-18 we ordered tables, chairs and tablecloths for an event taking place the following Sunday (6-24) and after seeing the emailed invoice for the linens we were very surprised at the price ($25 per table cloth). I contacted them to cancel the linens on Wednesday, 6-20 and was told that we would have needed to cancel by Tuesday, 6-19 at 10 am and could not cancel now because the linens had arrived. If you are renting from this facility...beware....read the fine print in the email! Personally, we will NEVER do business with them again! read more

This company was the biggest disappointment. I rented chargers from them - specifically the nice clear gold beaded ones that appear on their website - and I thought I was getting a great deal. When I walked into my reception hall there were flimsy plastic all-gold chargers I saw at the dollar store. They charged me $3 per charger which should've cost $1 at most, and a delivery fee on top of that totaling $1000 for something I could've purchased myself for $200 and thrown out after because that's how cheap they were. On top of that, rather than calling my wedding coordinator or the venue itself, I got 3 phone calls from their delivery guy while I was getting ready for my rehearsal dinner because he couldn't find the large, clearly marked entrance to my venue. The sad part is they don't even care and haven't made any attempt to refund me in any way. $1000 is a lot, especially considering the cost of weddings these days. I'm leaving this review to warn future brides. We recently got married in Woodstock, NY and contracted Rhinebeck Rentals to deliver, set up, and break down our chairs (55 in total). The night before the wedding, they call us and let us know that they might not be able to deliver our chairs the next morning. I spent about an hour calling them at different times but only getting through to the answering machine. After finally getting someone on the phone and arguing for a few minutes, they agree to deliver our chairs and set them up as originally discussed at 10:30am. Around 11:15 the next morning, I receive a call from my mother-in-law to be, letting me know that the chairs were not delivered yet. I call Rhinebeck Rentals to find out where the chairs are, and after several calls to both their original line and their emergency line, I get someone on the phone to tell me that the chairs are "on the way". The chairs eventfully show up around 1:00pm, which set everything back a few hours and caused a lot of stress on the wedding parties. My wife and I attempted to call Rhinebeck Rentals both through email and phone in the days following the wedding to speak with them regarding the tardiness of the chairs, and to see if the delivery fee could be returned since they did not hold up their end of the contract. We made several attempts to both phone lines and emails only to have received no response. We really would just like to speak with someone on the phone to find out what is going on. I don't know many businesses that can stay open by not answering the phone and not returning phone calls of their clients. We have had a pretty poor experience dealing with them and after 2 weeks of attempted phone calls and leaving voicemails, we are not quite sure what else to do.
