I have officially transferred my family to Dr. Judith. Previously we were going to an office that had multiple dentists and was never able to build a relationship with 1 dentist, so they were never on the same page. For a whole year they were dealing with my son's cavities and let it get to a point where now he needed a crown for his baby teeth (he is 5 years old). I come from a family line of weak teeth. I felt very mislead and couldn't trust their opinion. When I went to Dr. Judith, she was honest with me and openly took the time to show me the X-rays and explain the reasoning and procedures. She honestly told me that the other cavities can be taken care of in waves, to not traumatize my son. They were able to do the crown right there and it was only 30 minutes. They were so good to him and constantly reassured him, to help him be at ease. For me, customer service and communication is very important and they hit in out of the park. This is my 2nd time coming in today and I had to take out two cavities. As I was doing my cleaning, she accidentally cut my lips as she was doing the cleaning, I know that the assistant saw that because I heard the drill come across my lips and then I felt a pain of bleeding. I felt she was being rushed because shes clearly the only one who does everything here. I know that my lips were bleeding because they had to put a lot of ointment and gauze pad on it to stop the bleeding. Dr. Vue proceeded to tell me that I had cracked lips and that it was the reason that my lips were bleeding. My lips were perfectly fine before the procedure started. I understand that mistakes can happen- but to lie, literally in front my face that it was MY CRACKED LIPS, I feel quite ashamed that as my doctor, you couldn't even acknowledge what you did wrong. A simple apology would have been okay but now here I am writing this stupid review. I definitely won't be coming back and I just wanted to share my story so it doesn't happen to anyone else. So..I read the other review on here and because I am a stubborn Taurus I thought I'd see how she is for myself. I went because I had a chipped tooth and needed a basic cleaning. She said that for the chip it would be best to just shave it down rather than do all the other stuff because it was a very small one. She was right and it feels fine to this day. My only complaint was that she did a very quick cleaning and had a relative who is in Dental school observing me the whole time which made me uncomfortable. She addressed my questions, but didn't seem to really care about anything except getting out of there as fast as she could. So, just to be honest she was OK, but it was not a great experience by any means. I just went back to check if there were any new reviews since mine and I see one from pang v. who refers to this dentist as Dr. Judith. Just wanted to point out that they both share the same last name. If you're related to someone and you review them, you should be honest and mention that in your review. Dr. Vue has been our family dentist for the last five years at least. She is great. Super sweet and gentle with both kids and adults. She's good with communicating what kind of work is needed and never any hard sales for unnecessary work. It appears she has a lot of walk in clients. Dr. Vue is awesome! I've never had to wait for more than 15 minutes after check in. I had a horrible tooth ache and asked if I could see her same day. I was able to see her and she gave me the info about my teeth. She pulled my teeth, and spoke to me about what she was doing and asked if I was okay each time she felt me tense. She gave me pain meds and sent me home. She is the best dentist I've gone to. read more

I was in the Sacramento area visiting a friend and my wisdom tooth was hurting me like crazy. I had to call around for a dentist. I called several places but they weren't able to squeeze me in. Then I called Dr. Vue's clinic and luckily, i was able to go in. They squeezed me in later that day but I was willing to wait. The staff there were really nice when I showed up. Dr. Vue took out my wisdom tooth and I felt instant relief after that. Soon after the anesthetics wore off, I felt minor pain. She told me I will have tooth ache for a day or two, but I was able to go out with friends for dinner and nothing I ate gave me problems. Dr. Vue was friendly and took her time doing the procedure. She did not rush at all, even though I knew I was holding her up from going home since I was the last patient. The staff at the front desk were really kind. You cannot assume that they are related. Its like saying all the Smiths' are related... I have only been to Dr. Vue's office once last year for a cleaning, and I thought she was very good. I hated going to the dentist... I hate waiting for a long period of time in the chair wishing i was somewhere else.. She doesnt make me wait, she tells me what's going to be done and tells me what I may feel to prepare myself.. I've had two extractions and fillings done with Dr. Vu and it all took under 30 minutes to an hr. depending on the procedure..The wait time isnt that long when you have an appointment. Her receptionist was also helpful and always make appointments to fit my working schedule. I was looking for places to get into for exam and thooth extraction. They answered the phone almost immediately (this is really rare!). They dont take my insurance and the woman on the phone was so sorry she could not help me with my issues. This was the first person in 2 days of calling around that was not a heartless husk! Even tho I was not able to be seen I feel like the staff cares about people so they must do great for people. I love Dr Vue and her office. I came in for wisdom teeth extractions and my experience with her and her office have been phenomenal. I was dreading having to take out my wisdom teeth and scared out of my mind but everyone that worked on my teeth including Dr Vue made the whole process super comfortable and easy. This is my second visit there, Dr. Judith has always been professional and kind toward her patient and I. She did not make me feel like my teeth were gross or it is too late to fix them. Instead she gave me option for getting my teeth fix. The last visit I had was urgent and my tooth was really bothering me and hurting me a lot. Upon calling Dr. Judith office the staff were very kind and courteous to me. They gave me a appointment right away and took me in that same day. I had to get my tooth extracted since getting a root canal would take a very long procedure. She cleaned my teeth and gave me an appointment for filling my next appointment. Horrible work! Unprofessional staff and she has no idea how to work on children. I had to take my daughter to a pediatric dentist that had to redo all of the work dr.vue did. I should start by saying that I have had a serious dental phobia for a long time. Finally I had no choice but to see a dentist, and a co-worker recommended Dr. Vue. That was several years ago. I have found her and her staff to be just great. Patient, accommodating, and kind. I have been able to get work done that I had been avoiding thanks to her and her style. The peak moment was yesterday, when I was able to sit through a root canal without anxiety meds. That was tough, but I did it! Her office is pretty plain, but it's not really important to me.
