I met with Matt and got a pre-approval on the same day (in less than 2 hours.) While sitting in the waiting area while he was with his client before me, I found a property online and texted it to my realtor asking about it. We toured the property that same evening, and made an offer the next day. All done within 24 hours, and all thanks to Matt, Rowena and Jay. With their guidance, we submitted an offer and even beat out a higher offer. Our offer got accepted in the following week. Some call it crazy, but I say it's all in God's perfect timing. Matt, Rowena and Jay made it happen for us. I mean it when I say we couldn't have done it without them. They went above and beyond to make sure our first home buying process went quickly (really really quickly) and smoothly. Matt sure we had all our sh*t together, and our transaction was perfect! I was super nervous that it wouldn't happen, but he reassured me that we would get through the transaction without a hitch. One of my favorite things is that he is easy to talk to and relatable. He even gave me some financial advice to alleviate my debts which made a big difference in my monthly bills. All orher tellers from the other branches just laugh with me but not this one. Then I told her I wanted to withdraw $200 from my checking account, one big bill, 50 $1 bills and the rest in $5. When she counted the money in two batches, the bills were all over the counter, and she just left it there for me to pick up the mess. I will avoid this branch in the future unless I absolutely have to use it and hope I don't get this teller again. I know it's hard to find workers but this one leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Members submit photos to the contest and the best photos are published in the calendar. It's really cool to see local talent from amateur photographers in our 50th State! Note: I'm a member here because I used to work for The City and County of Honolulu. My coworker said that it's better to have more Credit Union accounts and compare interest rates, benefits, etc. Since I was in the area, I went to this branch of Aloha Pacific FCU. It had free shared parking and great air conditioning! The interior was bright and clean with cute Christmas decorations. Unlike the main branch where members speak to tellers via phone - and place ID, checks, cash, and other documents into a tube to send upstairs, this Waimalu branch has face-to-face transactions. I like it better! When it was my turn, I stepped up and asked for a calendar. I was asked how many? Ooh! I got two - one for my kitchen and one for my bathroom... Haha! I never know what day it is! Anyway, I'm glad that I went to the Waimalu Branch of Aloha Pacific FCU. I had gone to the main branch a couple of weeks ago, but the calendars hadn't arrived yet.
