This is the most friendliest establishment of the franchise that I have been to, and I feel it is necessary to say that these people truly do not stand for whatever mistakes any past employees have made. The actions of others do not dictate the state or mind set that these people have. The service is very great with conversations to accompany me while I wait for my drink or bowl, these people do not deserve to receive hate based on careless actions taken by past employees because when they talk they are not hate fueled nor are they racist, I just feel like all of these rumors of these people supporting racism or, whatever else people make up are completely false. So this is my second review on this place. It has been a year so I thought I would try again. Well, customer service was terrible. I am thinking it has to be management if the same problem keep happening. I ordered the wrong item, yes my fault. Not knowing , I was asking why I didn't get strawberries or blue berries and the sales girl was so rude and told me I don't get them with my item and I ask if I can buy some on the side and she looked at me as if I was stupid. My hubby and little boy frequent this Juice it Up but this was my first time. We got there and it is was empty so we were very lucky, but moments later there was a decent line. I had to laugh listening to some young gals waiting who were complaining to each other about how long it was taking. Maybe they hadn't heard, the drinks are made to order. Anyway, we ordered a Strawberry Wave smoothie for my little guy while my daughter decided to try the Pitaya Passion bowl and I tried their Ultimate Berry (acai) bowl. The smoothie was fine as usual, the Pitaya Passion bowl was HUGE and daughter enjoyed it and I liked the berry acai bowl but it wasn't the "ulitimate" acai bowl; it could have used a little more granola and honey. Their smoothies are still delicious and customer service was very good, especially since they had to deal with a sudden onslaught of people and remained calm and friendly. read more

I pick up my Juices after I leave the Gym every morning.... They always know exactly what I am coming in for and make the orders quick.

I come to this location very often and always find their service very poor. They are quick on making drinks but are very rude to their customers, some more than others. Last few times I have been taken care of a girl with brown curly hair who always has a terrible attitude. I won't be coming to this store anymore due to the employees not respecting their customers. I've been to this location on several occasions but had the worst experience the day the manager was actually serving the customers. On this particular day there was an event at the plaza (which is not uncommon) so the store was fairly busy (about 10 guest in line). They appeared to under staffed because there were only 3 staff members, one whom stayed in the back of the store. The guy in the black shirt who appeared to be the MANAGER, was VERY RUDE and messed up my order more than once. I believe his name is Jason because that is the name the appears on my receipt. While the manager was taking my order, my 8 yr old son touched the tip jar. He had a dime in his pocket and he wanted to drop in the tip jar. As soon as he touch the tip jar, the manager shook his finger at my son and grabbed the tip jar. He then took out the $5 bill that was in there then put back the jar, implying that my son was going to steal his money. He also messed up my order. I ordered 2 16oz drinks and 1 24oz drink. My order for the 24oz was made first but instead of a 24oz, he made a 16oz. When I brought this to his attention, in a very stern, dry manner, he told me I did not order a 24oz. He then just walked away and made all the drinks 24oz. I did not see that as a benefit because the 2 16oz drinks were for my 8 & 3 yr olds, so the 24oz drinks were wasteful and hard for my 3yr old to carry. In addition, the drinks did not taste right. It was my first time ordering two of the flavors so I'm not sure how they were suppose to taste, but they were bland and weren't really good at all. The 3rd drink however, Congo Lime, I am very familiar with. It was not the right color, nor did it taste right. Finally, unlike other Juice It Up locations, he did not offer a free boost with the drink. His demeanor with other customers was dry as well. A busy store (which translates into good business for the company) does not justify a lack of good customer service. But based on other comments for this, RUDENESS seems to be protocol for the manager. read more

My husband ordered me a fresh green drink . I drink a fresh juice everyday from goodwins organic grocery store. We'll he didn't realize and neither did I until I drank it that all the vegetables were blended not juiced. The reason I order these drinks at 5 everyday is so I can quickly get down all the greens that I normally can't eat. We'll was not blended at all it was giant chunks of pulp. I have never had a smoothie / juice where u needed a spoon to properly eat or drink or whatever u were supposed to do w that thing?!??!!! After a few try's at getting down I decided to go back and ask if I could return it we'll long story short the young girl looked at me like I was dreaming. She said she made it right ?? But isn't the customer always right?! She called out the manager who barely was of legal age & basically they both looked at me like to bad get out of our store ! Needless to say I will not be going back not only because of the juice but also the lack of compassion from the workers.I ended up throwing out the drink a few minutes later and lesion learned! read more

I go into this store as often as I can, it's a great snack when I'm out running errands. I was avoiding it for a little while because of the old manager who had black hair and a bad attitude. I found out there was a new manager though and decided to try again. I went in and the manager was on shift, she was a helpful girl who was clearly very happy at her job. I'm kind of a picky eater so it's hard for me to find much I like but I wanted to be adventurous and try something new. After telling the manager what I didn't like she looked at me and said try a suicide (it's a blend of everything) I looked at her like she was crazy but she said she had just made one and let me try a sample, it was delicious! The three workers she had on shift with her, two boys and a girl, were all happy to lend their opinions too and all encouraged the suicide. I asked when everything got so much better and she said that after the old manger left she had to make a few hires. I think her choices were spot on because these new people were all cheerful and more than happy to make my drink. This is a much improved Juice It Up and I will definitely be stopping by as much as I can during my errands. read more

We are regular customers of JIU and come in often, however we normally go to the WoodCrest location. We won't be back to the Plaza..because of the poor customer service. My 3 kids and I decided to try this location today. When my little girl decided to try the weekly special and after a couple sips did not like it, we kindly asked if there was anyway we could exchange for her original Strawberry Wave. The manager just straight out said "No" because thats what we bought! Wow! I didn't ask for a refund, I just asked to change it. She offered no help and no solution. It wasn't until after I expressed my feelings to her regarding her management skills and how I was surprised at how she offered no assistance to fix the problem...she then said she could add some bananas......at that point after my little girl was told No, she had already threw it in the trash. This should had been offered initially and would have made a RETURN customer out of us. Thats to bad for the business owner "Jim" that will be losing customers more and more with this attitude representing his store. I would encourage the manager to learn some management skills :) read more
