Iced coffee was delicious, limited snack options but have a sandwich joint connected to it

It says "free wifi" on their yelp listing, but when you get to the store they make you buy something first, which is a bait and switch. It should say "free with purchase". I didn't need a drink or food right then, I just wanted to check my email before heading over to an appointment at a nearby business. I probably would have been back for business meetings, quick wifi access, and food/drinks, but I'm not inclined to go there any more, especially since the employee I talked to about it was rude. I frequently have business meetings at coffee shops with free wifi. Sometimes we buy something, and sometimes we don't; however, at other coffee shops, I've never had them tell me they wouldn't give me the wifi password unless I bought something. read more

Usually don't go to these kinds of places, but while we were waiting for our sandwiches from Baileys, I stepped over and ordered a peach and vanilla Italian soda and a pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. The drink took awhile to make and had an ok taste, but the cookie was huge and so yummy! Probably the best one I've ever had! read more

Every time I go to Orem this coffee shop always has a line in the drive through but if you go inside it moves much faster. The coffee is okay, but personal favorite is the sick tea. Sick tea is ginger, lemon, and a little cayenne pepper if I remember correct. Hopefully next time I am out I will try other juices they have to offer. It would help if they had a description with their drinks when you go to order. read more

J&J always delivers fresh organic coffee. Their baristas are friendly and remember your "usual". We recently moved further away from J&J and tried other coffee shops close to my new home, none of them had the selection of organic brews especially in whole bean form as J&J. read more

Way better then Starbucks. This is a good coffee joint. I go here every weekend. I've had good service at both the Provo and Orem location. I like the Iced Vanilla Latte and my husband loves the Godfather (Blended). The coffee is always good and consistent, sometimes they need more people working because the line gets long and the wait time always varies, but the outcome flavor and consistency of the coffee is always good. I will always go to Juice N' Java and stay away from corporate Starbucks. read more

The only non-chain type coffee shop that I know of in Orem. Nice baristas, goooood coffee. Their ice teas are tasty and refreshing, not to mention a great price. My favorite coffees are the Godfather and when I have a sweet tooth, the Young & Restless. The Mozen Frokka is the best coffee like slurpee thing. Most are usually too sweet but this has the right amount of sweet, coffee, and flavoring. I like to add at least one extra shot of espresso to this. The prices are much better than you know buckeses. If are a real coffee fan this is your place. read more

I came here this morning to get a tea and the lady that helped me was named Betsy and she was so rude and very disrespectful. She was facing the opposite direction than the register and she asks me "are you ready" and I say "yes" and I was waiting for her to come face towards me like a normal person. But instead she cocks her head over her shoulder is like "ARE YOU GONNA TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT" and I was like "ummmmm yeah" the rest of the time I was there she never made eye contact with me and never gave any decency... anyway she ruined my experience and I won't be coming back read more

This place was great. Lots of good options if you want coffee, but other offerings as well. I had the White Hot Chocolate, and it was amazing. Friends had tea and cappuccino, and said it was the best in town. Good prices, and a drive-thru too. read more

I am so mad I just found this place!!! An entire summer in Provo drinking burnt nasty coffee from Starbucks and other small coffee shop and on my last weekend I find this joint. Amazing staff great ambience (if you are from out of state). And delicious coffee. Not to mention they sell roasted coffee beans which are awesome! Came here and got a steamer. The person helping me out was very nice and helpful, even at 7 a.m. on a Saturday! I feel like I'm pissed at everyone at 7 a.m. so that alone deserves 5 stars. Got a cup of cold milk for my drive to Salt Lake after asking for 2 pounds of ground coffee and a cup of coffee with a "touch" of cream for the road! YUK!!!!! Obviously the barista that took my order, poured my coffee and let it sit while grinding the 2 pounds of beans then added a ton of milk................ This new crew of employees either does not have a clue (pour the coffee AFTER you grind the beans), or they just do not care! Either way, they are sure coming up short these days. The brand of coffee(Straw Ibis) they serve is THE best. But, the owners need to pay more attention, things are really going downhill...................the service has gotten way toooo laid back! read more

This coffee shop makes really yummy drinks but the customer service is what sets them apart. They are kind, friendly, and they remember you. The manager has helped me several times and she always makes sure you are happy with your drink. The staff here knows how to do customer service right. The powdered chocolates they use are sooo good. The store is very clean and I have noticed the staff always seems to be cleaning when they are not helping customers. I have been to the other location in Provo several times and have definitely not received the same quality of service. They are not generally as friendly and sometimes seem bothered to be helping a customer at the Provo store. read more

Looking for a place to get drinks on our way out of town, we stopped here. There are some things in life worth the extra 5 minutes. I'd say a good juice and tea are among those. The green smoothie is fresh, perfectly sweetened (with carrot juice and a blended banana along with frozen strawberries), with a tangy twist of lime blended with whole kale and spinach. Perfect breakfast for a healthy road trip. It helps that the customer service was great as well. I'll come back when I'm in town again. read more

I went here early one Saturday morning (early enough that l was probably the first customer of the day). I wanted to try a local place, rather than chance Starbucks. The barista was rude and seemed like she didn't want to give us the time of day. I got an americano with cream, and it is the worst coffee I have ever tasted. Starbucks has burned my coffee before, but this was completely undrinkable. I took one sip and couldn't stomach any more. I had to throw it out. I frequent J&J a few times a week, partly because it's one of the few coffee shops in the area that isn't Starbucks, but also because it's a great place to visit with friends, get some work done, or just enjoy a latte. Nothing fancy or overtly trendy, but baristas are always super friendly and laid back. Drive thru is notoriously slow, but it's certainly worth just walking in and getting it to go if you're really in a pinch! read more

The first time I tried J&J was about a yr ago I went through the drive-thru. I ordered a small carmel macchiato for 3 bucks it was so yummy and it came with this yummy little coffee chocolate thing! I've gone back maybe 30 times the most recent time was yesterday I ORDER THE SAME DRINK THE SAME SIZE EVERYTIME I go and it's somehow a DIFFERENT PRICE EVERYTIME and not only that it TASTES COMPLETLY DIFFERENT EVERYTIME. I have NEVER got another one of their little chocolate things with my drink and one time I asked the barista and she rolled her eyes and gave me one and told me there supposed to come with any drink with expresso but no one ever remembers. The only reason I go back time after time is sadly because I live too far away from starbucks and it's the only place that has expresso with a drive-thru when I have my baby in the car. read more

I've been coming through the drive thru for years, and the staff know me, and get my order right every time. They are friendly and courteous. I like the lattes quite a bit. Starbucks latte is sweeter for some reason, but I like this place. It's closer to my home and it's convenient. Plus the coffee's good. read more

I really quite like Juice N Java, i feel like over the years i have been going there the service has gotten better/friendlier but, i have certainly never experienced anything like some of these lower star reviews. The newer group of baristas at the orem location seem to be much more bubbly and outgoing, which i really like. Most of them know my name and have my coffee waiting for me. I have never had a bad coffee from anyone here, there are small discrepancies, but i feel like that is to be expected since they don t use automated things like Starbucks. I don t mind the small differences between the baristas drinks, but maybe thats just me. I ve turned a lot of my friends on to this place and never heard anything bad from them either. The only complaint i would make, is that the building could use a little love. They have a nice patio, and the inside is large enough, but it is all quite out-dated and a little boring. The wood around their drive-up window is also rotting away. I d never stop going because of this, but I m sure it would bring in more customers if it looked a little more inviting? read more

I am not impressed. I love coffee shops, the atmosphere. The people. HOWEVER, this last week after work, my husband and I decided to go visit J & J and did not realize they close at 7 PM and as we were heading up to the door, not five feet from the entrance, the door was literally SLAMMED in our face. It was extremely rude to say the least. No "I'm sorry, but we close at 7, come back tomorrow" or hey, let me get you a coffee to go, just SLAM! So I came in with my husband to confront the rudeness . Luckily, the owner and both managers were there and I told the story to them in front of the girl. They were nice to our face, and INSISTED on free coffee coupons, but later Taylor, the manager began telling people that I was in the wrong for "pawing" at the girl, because she is young and didnt know better"... which quickly got back to me. In this day and age, there are too many business owners who have to deal with employees with an "employee mentality" who do not give one thought of how they act will reflect on the business, because it means they can go anywhere and get a job, and why should "they" have to care about something that someone else gave their whole blood sweat and tears for. So, Taylor, I guess if you think that the girl was in the right for slamming the door and I was a "little too hard on her because she is young" then I guess its people like you that enable people to have an "employee mentality" and young people will jump around from job to job never caring about anything or anyone but themselves, while managers that are too timid to tell the employee anything they do wrong and nurse them and coddle them ..and ultimately never learn "how" to treat people by losing a job or two and having a hard knock in life to teach them people skills. I am not a fan. I went here after a friend recommended it to me & it fell so short of my expectations. I have been there 3 or 4 times, always trying different drinks and the espresso tastes burnt every time. The staff is unfriendly and acts annoyed at helping you. Thumbs down!
