Great find in Bee Cave. It's located in the galleria. It was very homely, and there were so many locals that you could tell come here weekly. It's an interior design shop that consults for interior design, but so cool that they also serve cocktails! The bartenders are very knowledgeable and great mixologists. My favorite drink was the Mint Julep which great classic old fashioned cocktail with a splash of mint. The bar itself was well decorated and my favorite part was the live music. We went on a Saturday night and Brian Andrew Lee was playing! He had such a great voice. read more

12/20/2020 This is at the galleria. Based on drinks and ambiance for the "bar" area- at a boutique store - 5 stars. Drinks are very good, strong, full of flavor, served in high end glasses. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. There is more seating than expected with each table having a sanitizing station. We would come back with friends here although it is not a typical bar. Still, the ambiance and vibe is unique and they can make great cocktails. They also serve wine and wine by the bottle. read more

Love the concept of this bar! Almost all of the decor is for sale and the owner has a great eye for beautiful pieces of art and furniture. The drinks are dangerous - delicious, easy to drink, and easy to order. I look forward to coming back for one their e events that they host regularly. I would not recommend bringing children here, while that seems like a "duh" tip--this really isn't the space a kid can play. It is a wonderful spot for a girls night out though! Nice place cool vibe and music on occasion. Seen more plastic surgery than I had for a while in the crowd of "I'm not done yet". The only reason for one star short is the prices. I know it's galleria and an upscale shop, but 15 for a glass of what we get it H‑E‑B for 9 per bottle is a bit much. Craft drinks are nice but way pricey for bee cave . read more

New bar in the area so I decided to take a walk on the wild side and found the coolest "secret" Jules Design bar. Beautifully decorated reason why is more or less a design creative paintings, chandeliers and art everywhere. A truly sexy bar. Nice people and beyond artistic barware. Relaxed atmosphere even has design classes starting in April this month. Cozy with nice lounging sofas throughout the bar what caught my eye was the colors that blended very well as though it was done with perfected color transformation for your eyes to catch the glimse of bright colors. Crafted so well, ok by now the the bar drinks are pretty well done. Now to be clear the bar drinks are pricy but worth it for the reason it seems so New York style ambiance. I will return and enjoy the company of musicans and people that are friendly and just wonderful. You will enjoy how perfect the place is and a must try once ....cant wait to return and have a great time. Time to party! read more

Nice place. I like walking around to see what new items they have then getting a drink. I haven't bought anything but drinks here. It is hit or miss if they will have everything on their wine list. Why have a paper menu? Maybe a chalk board? Drinks are tasty but high. I tend to stick to the wine as I don't see the value in the mix drinks. Ashley is very friendly. Kelly still learning? People that go tend to be friendly and the 40s and up crowd. Wish happy hour was longer as some of us do have jobs. Glad it is here. Hope it last. read more

Really clever concept in this cute space next to the Gingerman. It's an inviting store that offers home decor, bar ware and also has a craft cocktail bar that mixes up a tasty Old Fashioned served in a cut crystal glass with a large, single cube to not water down the drink. It's the little things and this is a sweet little spot to bring a magazine and sip a concoction and wander around and look at the pretty things. And of course pick up a new throw pillow you don't need, but life is short. Drink up and decorate. read more

Do you think $32 for a Casamigos & soda single is acceptable ...not even Miami, New York or Paris would charge you this much for this drink. I happened upon this place. Big + for the live music. Shelley Mac has a beautiful voice and sang Sting Bob Marley, Linda Ronstadt and Sting, all you could sing along to. Cocktails seemed pricey but a decent Sauvignon Blanc was reasonable. Wish they had cheese and/or charcuterie, got hungry and had to leave. Interesting retail, but seemed pricey. read more

I have to say I'm surprised at the number of 4-5 star reviews. This is a VERY beautiful space and a great showroom for the furniture and home decor items that they sell but I would consider this a "pseudo bar". It looks like a bar and tries to function as a bar, and sells itself as swanky "New York" style bar but falls terribly short. As far as prices, they are probably the most expensive I've seen in Austin and I've been to all the best. They don't know their craft, but sell themselves as a craft cocktail bar, so really what are you paying for?? I ordered a Negroni, a very simple cocktail for a seasoned bartender (heck ANY bartender), and they looked at me like I was crazy and said "what's that? I don't know what that is." then they huddled together asking one another what it was. No one knew! One of them had heard of it but didn't know what was in it or how to make it. All it is is 1 part Gin, 1 part Campari, and 1 part sweet vermouth, served in an old fashioned glass over ice with an orange twist. EASY. They said " we don't know how to make it so you'll have to walk us through it". So I did. They place it in front of me and it's not gin. It's tequila (never mentioned tequila, I said the ingredients several times) so gross. They re-made it correctly after I pointed it out and they finally got it right. Now don't get me wrong, I appreciated their willingness to accommodate my order (only reason for that extra star) but if they didn't know how to make it they should've just said that they didn't make cocktails that weren't on their menu to have avoided this embarrassing display. Next shocker was the bill. $18 for one drink (more than any other craft cocktail on their menu by far) that would run $14 max at the most expensive bars in Austin. If it were me, and a customer had to teach me how to make a cocktail (that I should know since I am playing bartender) I wouldn't have the nerve to charge them that much. It's just basic customer service. My suggestion is to get REAL mixologists (or at least 1 to teach the others) or take some classes so that doesn't happen again, and to justify the exorbitantly high prices. If your looking for a true cocktail bar, skip this place and go to The League or Buenos Aires Cafe. Not as pretty, but They know their stuff and won't charge you an arm and a leg. If you're just looking for good ambiance, shopping for some unique home decor and esthetically pleasing surroundings then this is your place. Just stick to wine. read more
